  • C# TabPage.Controls.Add too long

    Hi, At run time, I add one control to a tabpage and I notice that it takes 0.5 sec to do it. It's rather long and I would like to reduce this time. I tried Suspend/ResumeLayout but for only one action it's no relevant and do not improved anythng. Any ideas ? Thx

  • Unknown filesystem Grub rescue error

    I have a lenovo z570, and i installed ubuntu 12.04 alongside with my windows 7. Recently all my games ive been playing, stop responding due to a AppCrash. I searched it on google and they said it had something to do with ubuntu. So i deleted the partition. After restarting my laptop i get the: unknown filesystem grub rescue error. I tried using a windows cd to boot, but it cant. Please HELP!! If you got something please comment or send to [email protected] Thanx in advance

For instance you have a member and he/she tries to change the personal settings and you redirected member to www.domain.com/member/change/member_id member changed the values and post the data to another page by changing the action with firebug or something else.   • ASP.NET MVC redirect from asynchronous call

    I send asynchronous call using jQuery form plugin and in the case of success want to redirect user to some "success-page". Now my ASP.NET MVC action just returns some special "success-JSON" and the user is redirected using Javascript. Is there any way to implement automatic redirect (without Javascript call)?

The reason behind this is that I use a controller that is protected for logged in users only, I don't want to have to call $this-protect(); from every action in the controller.     When an IBAction is called: -(IBAction) onClick1: (id) sender; What is passed in the sender? Since it's hooked up through the IB, I'm not really sure.     [Disclaimer: This has been cross posted on the Android Developers Google Group I am trying to use a CompoundButton in a project I am working on. Every time I try and use it by declaring it in my layout xml file I receive the error "01-04 12:27:46.471: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(1771): Caused by: android.view.InflateException: Binary XML file line #605: Error inflating class android.widget.CompoundButton" After fighting the error for a half an hour I decided to try a minimalistic example. I am using the latest eclipse developer tools, and targeting android 2.2 makign the minimum sdk required 2.2 (8).     I've got some tests that need to count the number of warnings raised by a function. In Python 2.6 this is simple, using with warnings.catch_warnings(record=True) as warn: ... self.assertEquals(len(warn), 2) Unfortunately, with is not available in Python 2.4, so what else could I use? I can't simply check if there's been a single warning (using warning filter with action='error' and try/catch), because the number of warnings is significant.

  • Simple SSH public/private key question

    I am trying to learn this instead of just following guides so I can recommend proper actions when people do ask (and they do). Here is what I got down. First, generate both key with command such as this: ssh-keygen -b 2048 -t rsa -C comment -f ~/.ssh/id_rsa Then you push the public part of the key into authorized_keys2 file cat ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub >> ~/.ssh/authorized_keys2 (and then chmod it to 600 or similar) And you download the private key to your computer (id_rsa) and feed that in to Putty to be read and authenticate. Are these the correct steps to setting this public/private key authentication for passwordless login to SSH?

When I try to run it in the emulator, it crashes on boot. In my view model I defined some list properties as follows: public class BasketAndOrderSearchCriteriaViewModel { List<KeyValuePair> currencies; public ICollection<KeyValuePair> Currencies { get { if (this.currencies == null) this.currencies = new List<KeyValuePair>(); return this.currencies; } } List<KeyValuePair> deliverMethods; public ICollection<KeyValuePair> DeliveryMethods { get { if (this.deliverMethods == null) this.deliverMethods = new List<KeyValuePair>(); return this.deliverMethods; } } } This view model is embedded in another view model: public class BasketAndOrderSearchViewModel { public BasketAndOrderSearchCriteriaViewModel Criteria { [System.Diagnostics.DebuggerStepThrough] get { return this.criteria; } } } I use 2 action methods; one is for the GET and the other for POST: [HttpGet] public ActionResult Search(BasketAndOrderSearchViewModel model){...} [HttpPost] public ActionResult SubmitSearch(BasketAndOrderSearchViewModel model){...} In the view I implement the whole view model by using the EditorFor-Html Helper which does not want to automatically display DropDownLists for List properties! 1. Question: How can you let EditorFor display DropDownLists? Since I could not figure out how to display DropDownLists by using EditorFor, I used the DropDownList Html helper and filled it through the view model as follows: public IEnumerable<SelectListItem> DeliveryMethodAsSelectListItem() { List<SelectListItem> list = new List<SelectListItem>(); list.Add(new SelectListItem() { Selected = true, Text = "<Choose Delivery method>", Value = "0" }); foreach (var item in this.DeliveryMethods) { list.Add(new SelectListItem() { Selected = false, Text = item.Value, Value = item.Key }); } return list; } My 2. question: As you can see I pass my view model to the action metho with POST attribute! Is there a way to get the selected value of a DropDownList get binded to the passed view model? At the moment all the DropDownList are empty and the selected value can only be fetched by the Request.Form which I definitely want to avoid! I would greatly appreciate some ideas or tips on this!
