  • R: How to write out a data.frame so that I can paste it into SO for others to read?

    I have a large data.frame displaying some weird properties when plotted. I'd like to ask a question about it on Stackoverflow, to do that I'd like to write the data.frame out in a form that I can paste it into SO and somebody else can easily run it and have it back into a data.frame object again. Is there an easy way to accomplish this? Also, if it is really long, should I use paste bin instead of directly paste it here?

  • Making html tags selectable in GWT

    I'm trying to display an html source ( without interpretation ) and I'd like all the nodes to be selectable (p, div, etc..). Something like in firebug where if I click on a node I can get it's properties. Does anybody have an idea how to do that or where to start ?

  • Tomcat 6 is really UNSTABLE when redeploying web apps

    Do you know how to make it more stable, maybe properties to set, memory to allocate? It always hangs up when redeploying web apps, thru manager (wars), web interface or maven plugin. every second time it gives PermGenSpace, no memory errors etc. on my local machine 3gb ram. It looks like it should be manually set up to work in a stable way. How to fix such a problem?

    I'm trying to map my skills and responsibilities profile sections to one of the custom properties in Active Directory (extensionattribute1 , 2, etc). I'm entering comma seperated values in AD and it's importing the values fine but sees the comma seperated values as one value on import. i.e. 'C#,asp.net,javascript' rather than 'C#', 'asp.net', 'Javascript'. Any ideas. I'm almost there it's just not spliting the values correctly on import. thanks in Advance

    Hi everyone, I've got a simple one but haven't been able to find an example of a solution that fits exactly what I'm asking. Sorry in advance if this is a repeat. From my navigation menu, I want each link to reference a specific DIV in a separate page and then pull that DIV and replace the content in the current page. <ul> <li><a href="#">About</a></li> <li><a href="#">Contact</a></li> ..and so on </ul> Elsewhere in the page: <div id="displayContent">Content refreshes onClick. Previous content fades out, fresh content fades in.</div> Separate page (content.php): <div id="about">About content</div> <div id="contact">Contact content</div>

  • findBy(x) Using Zend_Navigation with custom route

    I am creating my navigation from a db generated array and defining which route to use for some of the uris. when I set the route i am no longer able to use findByUri() as the uri seems to be moved under the properties key example array being used: [id] => 7 [label] => Legal [controller] => index [uri] => /legal [route] => cmsPage [visible] => 1 [params] => Array ( [first] => legal ) snippet of the output: [_properties:protected] => Array ( [uri] => /legal [created] => 2012-10-20 10:23:23 ) When I don't define the route I am able to use findByUri() successfully. currently I am looping through each to find the property that matches the request but it seems a long / wrong approach Is there a way to search by the nested param - or am i doing something wrong with the setup (everything else behaves as expected)

    I'm a novice at JSF and I got a couple of questions concerning organizing user authentication there. 1) How can i redirect the registered user to a welcome page (for example welcome.xhtml)? I heard about using Filter or navigation-rule tag, but i didn't found a full-blown tutorial of how it works. 2) How can i tell the server that unauthorized users can access not only the login page but also the registration page? Is there an analog for ASP.NET web.config tag or something like this?

    Is it possible to create collision free hash function for a data structure with specific properties. The datastructure is int[][][] It contains no duplicates The range of integers that are contained in it is defined. Let's say it's 0..1000, the maximal integer is definitely not greater than 10000. Big problem is that this hash function should also be very fast. Is there a way to create such a hash function? Maybe at run time depending on the integer range?

    In Visual Studio 2010 we have MSBuild for C++ project. Also we can add additional custom properties files "*.props" to projects, which are just MSBuild scripts. Is it possible in imported "some.props" file know its directory? for example there is "project.vcxproj" file and "common.props" file. I would like to write something: <IncludeDir>$( [and something for common.props file directory here] )\include</IncludeDir> What should I write there?

    If I wanted to add, let's say, a new .lib to the build only if a particular #define was set, how would I do that? In the MSVC++ 2008 "Property Pages", you would simply add: Config Properties -> Linker -> Input -> Additional Dependencies, but I would like it if something like #define COMPILE_WITH_DETOURS was set, then the particular library would be added to the dependencies, otherwise it would be removed.     Hi I have a website used by clients for reporting purposes and would like to give clients the option of my website reading their local database directly (instead of them providing data in a file format). In most instances their database would be SQL Express setup on their localhost. How can I connect to a clients local SQL server via my website, using asp.net / javascript etc? If the client provides their connection string properties, localhost would just refer to my server's localhost... Thanks

  • Maintaining traceability up-to-date as project evolves

    During various projects, I needed to make sure that the use case model I developed during the analysis phase is covering the requirements of the project. For that, I was able to have some degree of traceability between requirement statements (uniquely identified) and use cases (also uniquely identified). In some cases, enabling traceability implied some additional effort that I considered (and later proved) to be a good investment. Now, the biggest problem I faced was to maintain this traceability later, when things started to change (as a result of change requests, or as a result of use case changes). Any ideas of best practices for traceability maintenance? (It can apply to other items in the project - e.g. use cases and test cases, or requirements and acceptance test cases) Later edit Tools might help, but they can't detect gaps or errors in traceability. Navigation... maybe, but no warranty that the traceability is up-to-date or correct after applying the changes.

  • Cycle in Eclipse

    If I open two Java projects in Eclipse which depend on each other, I have to add dependencies between these two projects in the Build Path (Properties - Java build path). This works fine for one way, but why doesn't allow Eclipse to set the dependencies vice versa? The following error message occurs: A cycle was detected in the build path of project 'A' and A cycle was detected in the build path of project 'B' I know what's causing this error but i wonder why exactly this isn't allowed.     I am trying to set up Corey Floyd's FJSTransitionController. My app uses a main view controller to manage the main view navigation. I also went through the source to fix it for ARC. Followed instructions and in my main delegate .h I have in the usual spots: FJTransitionController* mainTransitionController; @property (nonatomic,retain) FJTransitionController* mainTransitionController; delegate .m has the following @synthesize mainTransitionController And in the - (BOOL)application:(UIApplication *)application didFinishLaunchingWithOptions:(NSDictionary *)launchOptions mainTransitionController=[[FJTransitionController alloc] init]; // do I need to instantise? [self.window addSubview:mainTransitionController.view]; [mainTransitionController setViewControllerClass:[[mainViewController sendMissionsPanelViewController] class] forKey:@"missionView"]; The last line is complaining that there is no @interface for FJTransitionController? Any help please.
