    Hey, Am new to LINQ, and am trying to retrieve the top 50 rows of a particular table. In SQL Server using an actual query i coudl say "Select TOP 50 from Transactions" , but not sure how i need to do that with LinQ Any pointers that could help ? Thanks !

    I'm trying to render a world map shapefile on my Geoserver with a Mercator projection. I've tried declaring the SRS on Geoserver and defining EPSG projections of 3785 or 900913 in Openlayers with no success. I've also tried to reproject the shapefile using ogr2ogr but the result is slightly off.   • Oneliner to count the number of tabs in each line of a file

    I have a file that is tab delimited. I would like a powershell script that counts the number of tabs in each line. I came up with this: ${C:\tabfile.txt} |% {$_} | Select-String \t | Measure-Object | fl count it yields 3, Which is the number of lines in the file. any pointers to what I'm doing wrong? I would like it to print a single number for each line in the file.

    hi does anyone know any sort of app that lets users visit a page on their mobile phone, enter information and have it update the website i believe the term is "mobile-blogging" but there isn't all that much on google or, is there any good resources for coding pages specifically for a mobile phone? I could probably design a script to insert blog posts on a site but not sure how it would work with a mobile. thanks for any pointers

I could do GetType() but I d rather avoid that, I dont actually want to know the type of the object I want to know if a property (or method if that makes life easier) is available Any pointers?     I recently installed Ubuntu on a VirtualBox VM ... it installed just fine (much easier than on VirtualPC). However, I'm unable to get internet access from the guest OS (ie. Ubuntu). Can anyone give me any pointers on how I might enable this? The Host OS is Windows Vista, and the hardware is an IBM Lenovo. Thanks! :-)

    I guess I am not saying it right in the title. What I intend to do is to hook to some system api,like a time interrupt happens every amount of time (which is how every application in the operating system interprets time) and make an application's call to this api return some bigger/smaller result. So from the point view of an applicaiton, time has been speed up or slow down. I have found some application on windows doing this, can anyone gives me some pointers on how to implement this on Mac OS X?
