    Forget screenshots, is it posible to capture a video of the running application in android? Rooted or non-rooted, I don't care, I want atleast 15fps. Update: I don't want any external hardware. The intent is to make it perfectly portable and every frame is captured within Android OS. If it crosses the boundaries of the app sdk, I'm willing to go to OS level modifications but I would need a starting point.

    I know how to use comma in printf as grouping separator to print value in format like 1,000,000.00 to print it that way I'm using command System.out.printf ("%,.2f", value); but how to use space as grouping separator to format value like 1 000 000.00 I tried to find solution but solutions with using DecimalFormat look at now to complicate for me (beginner level). Is there as easy way as in example with comma to do it?

  • crt0.o and crt1.o -- What's the difference?

    Hello, recently I've been trying to debug some low level work and I could not find the crt0.S for the compiler(avr-gcc) but I did find a crt1.S (and the same with the corresponding .o files) What is the difference between these two files? Is crt1 something completely different or what? They both seem to have to do with something for bootstrapping(setting up stack frame and such), but why the distinction?

    I have a series of value that include the empty string levels(mydata$phone_partner_products) "" "dont_know" "maybe_interesting" "not_interesting" "very_interesting" "very_not_interesting" If I make a frequencies table I get this table(mydata$phone_partner_products) dont_know maybe_interesting 3752 226 2907 not_interesting very_interesting very_not_interesting 1404 1653 1065 How can I reorder the columns in a more meaningful way? How can I rename the empty string "" level? Thank you a lot in advance.

  • indentationLevel property doesn't appear to do anything?

    I'm have a number rows I'm inserting into a table using -insertRowsAtIndexPaths:withRowAnimation, and I would like the rows to be indented from the left to distinguish them from the rest of the cells. The indentationLevel property of UITableViewCell looks like it's exactly what I need, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Here's the code I'm using to set the indentation level (dot syntax doesn't make a difference): [cell setIndentationWidth:10]; [cell setIndentationLevel:1]; Is indentationLevel what I want, or should I be looking elsewhere?

If I wanted to, what's the easiest way to combine the sub-arrays so that I'm left with a one-dimensional array like: array( 'a'=>5, 'f'=>9, 'sdf'=>8 );

" It would probably be better to use $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']; to prevent incompatibilities between servers. " what kind of compatibility issue can this be ??     A simple example using a built-in javascript object: navigator.my_new_property = "some value"; //can we detect that this new property was added? I don't want to constantly poll the object to check for new properties. Is there some type of higher level setter for objects instead of explicitly stating the property to monitor?     Is there a way with gcc and GNU binutils to mark some functions such that they will generate an error at link-time if used? My situation is that I have some library functions which I am not removing for the sake of compatibility with existing binaries, but I want to ensure that no newly-compiled binary tries to make use of the functions. I can't just use compile-time gcc attributes because the offending code is ignoring my headers and detecting the presence of the functions with a configure script and prototyping them itself. My goal is to generate a link-time error for the bad configure scripts so that they stop detecting the existence of the functions.

Why is it trying to convert dasf to date when it clearly causes ISDATE(@DATE) = 1 to evaluate to false... If I do: SELECT ISDATE(@DATE) The return value is 0.

  • Hibernate query cache automatically refreshed on external update?

    I'm creating a service that has read-only access to the database. I have a query cache and a second level cache enabled (READ_ONLY mode) in Hibernate to speed up the service, as the tables being accessed change rarely. My question is, if someone goes into the DB and changes the tables manually (i.e. outside of Hibernate), does the cache recognize automatically that it needs to be cleared? Is there a time limit on the cache?

  • As a CS major, should I take more EE courses?

    I have taken enough cs courses to know that I'm not interested in hardware. I'm much more interested in programing for the web. Now, I'm nearing the end of my degree, and I'm presented with the option to take some higher level EE courses than the intro I took freshman year. Are there any real-world-job-boosting reasons I should take more EE course? Any courses in particular that people think would be helpful?
