  • Flex : providing data with a PHP Class

    - by Tristan
    Hello, i'm a very new user to flex (never use flex, nor flashbuilder, nor action script before), but i want to learn this langage because of the beautiful RIA and chart it can do. I watched the video on adobe : 1 hour to build your first program but i'm stuck : On the video it says that we have to provide a PHP class for accessing data and i used the example that flash builder gave (with zend framework and mysqli). I never used those ones and it makes a lot to learn if i count zen + mysqli. My question is : can i use a PHP class like this one ? What does flash builder except in return ? i hear that was automatic. example it may be wrong, i'm not very familiar with classes when acessing to database : <?php class DBConnection { protected $server = "localhost"; protected $username = "root"; protected $password = "root"; protected $dbname = "something"; protected $connection; function __construct() { $this->connection = mysql_connect($this->server, $this->username, $this->password); mysql_select_db($this->dbname,$this->connection); mysql_query("SET NAMES 'utf8'", $this->connection); } function query($query) { $result = mysql_query($query, $this->connection); if (!$result) { echo 'request error ' . mysql_error($this->connection); exit; } return $result; } function getAll() { $req = "select * from servers"; $result = query($req) return $result } function num_rows() { return mysql_num_rows($result); } function end() { mysql_close($this->connection); } } ?> Thank you,

  • Why doesn't access database update?

    - by Ryan
    Recently I met a strange problem, see code snips as below: var sqlCommand: string; connection: TADOConnection; qry: TADOQuery; begin connection := TADOConnection.Create(nil); try connection.ConnectionString := 'Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=Test.MDB;Persist Security Info=False'; connection.Open(); qry := TADOQuery.Create(nil); try qry.Connection := connection; qry.SQL.Text := 'Select * from aaa'; qry.Open; qry.Append; qry.FieldByName('TestField1').AsString := 'test'; qry.Post; beep; finally qry.Free; end; finally connection.Free; end; end; First, Create a new access database named test.mdb and put it under the directory of this test project, we can create a new table named aaa in it which has only one text type field named TestField1. We set a breakpoint at line of "beep", then lunch the test application under ide debug mode, when ide stops at the breakpoint line (qry.post has been executed), at this time we use microsoft access to open test.mdb and open table aaa you will find there are no any changes in table aaa, if you let the ide continue running after pressing f9 you can find a new record is inserted in to table aaa, but if you press ctrl+f2 to terminate the application at the breakpoint, you will find the table aaa has no record been inserted, but in normal circumstance, a new record should be inserted in to the table aaa after qry.post executed. who can explain this problem , it troubles me so long time. thanks !!! BTW, the ide is delphi 2010, and the access mdb file is created by microsoft access 2007 under windows 7

  • Batch processing JDBC

    - by Wai Hein
    I am practicing JDBC batch processing and having errors: error 1: Unsupported feature error 2: Execute cannot be empty or null Property files include: itemsdao.updateBookName = Update Books set bookname = ? where books.id = ? itemsdao.updateAuthorName = Update books set authorname = ? where books.id = ? I know I can execute about DML statements in one update, but I am practicing batch processing in JDBC. Below is my method public void update(Item item) { String query = null; try { connection = DbConnector.getConnection(); property = SqlPropertiesLoader.getProperties("dml.properties"); connection.setAutoCommit(false); if ( property == null ) { Logging.log.debug("dml.properties does not exist. Check property loader or file name is spelled right"); return; } query = property.getProperty("itemsdao.updateBookName"); statement = connection.prepareStatement(query); statement.setString(1, item.getBookName()); statement.setInt(2, item.getId()); statement.addBatch(query); query = property.getProperty("itemsdao.updateAuthorName"); statement = connection.prepareStatement(query); statement.setString(1, item.getAuthorName()); statement.setInt(2, item.getId()); statement.addBatch(query); statement.executeBatch(); connection.commit(); }catch (ClassNotFoundException e) { Logging.log.error("Connection class does not exist", e); } catch (SQLException e) { Logging.log.error("Violating PK constraint",e); } //helper class th finally { DbUtil.close(connection); DbUtil.closePreparedStatement(statement); }

  • A question of style/readability regarding the C# "using" statement

    - by Charles
    I'd like to know your opinion on a matter of coding style that I'm on the fence about. I realize there probably isn't a definitive answer, but I'd like to see if there is a strong preference in one direction or the other. I'm going through a solution adding using statements in quite a few places. Often I will come across something like so: { log = new log(); log.SomeProperty = something; // several of these log.Connection = new OracleConnection("..."); log.InsertData(); // this is where log.Connection will be used ... // do other stuff with log, but connection won't be used again } where log.Connection is an OracleConnection, which implements IDisposable. The neatnik in me wants to change it to: { log = new log(); using (OracleConnection connection = new OracleConnection("...")) { log.SomeProperty = something; log.Connection = conn; log.InsertData(); ... } } But the lover of brevity and getting-the-job-done-slightly-faster wants to do: { log = new log(); log.SomeProperty = something; using (log.Connection = new OracleConnection("...")) log.InsertData(); ... } For some reason I feel a bit dirty doing this. Do you consider this bad or not? If you think this is bad, why? If it's good, why?

  • SQL query doesn't get inserted

    - by Deejdd
    I've been trying to get my query to work for some time it runs but doesn't insert anything nor does it return any errors. The database connection is open and is successfuly connection. The Table is called errorlog and holds the following data - id (int autoincremental, Primary key, Unique) - exception (varchar) - time (DateTime) exception = String(error message) time = DateTime.Now Here's the code: public void insertError(string error, DateTime time) { SqlCeParameter[] sqlParams = new SqlCeParameter[] { new SqlCeParameter("@exception", error), new SqlCeParameter("@time", time) }; try { cmd = new SqlCeCommand(); cmd.Connection = connection; cmd.CommandType = CommandType.Text; cmd.CommandText = "INSERT INTO errorlog (exception, time) VALUES(@exception, @time)"; cmd.Parameters.AddRange(sqlParams); cmd.ExecuteNonQuery(); } catch (Exception e) { Console.WriteLine(e.Message); } } Any help would be appreciated, Thanks in advance. EDIT Removed quotes around @exception Heres the connection: protected DataController() { try { string appPath = System.IO.Path.GetDirectoryName(Assembly.GetAssembly(typeof(DataController)).CodeBase).Replace(@"file:\", "") + @"\"; string strCon = @"Data Source = " + appPath + @"Data\EasyShop.sdf"; connection = new SqlCeConnection(strCon); } catch (Exception e) { } connection.Open(); } Finally the way it gets called: public bool log(string msg, bool timestamp = true) { DataController dc = DataController.Instance(); dc.insertError(msg, DateTime.Today); return true; }

  • Simple iOS Get Request Not Pulling in Data

    - by user2793987
    I have a very simple get request that doesn't return data on my script. The script is fine when viewed in the web browser but the app does not pull in the data. Any other script works with this code in the app. I'm unsure of what to do because there shouldn't be a reason for this to not work. Please let me know if you need more information. Here's the script: https://shipstudent.com/complaint_desk/similarPosts.php?username=noah //retrieve saved username from user defaults (it's noah) NSUserDefaults *eUser = [NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults]; savedUser = [eUser objectForKey:@"user"]; NSLog(@"%@",savedUser); in ViewDidLoad: NSString *categoryParam = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"https://shipstudent.com/complaint_desk/similarPosts.php?username=%@", savedUser]; NSURL *url = [NSURL URLWithString:categoryParam]; NSMutableURLRequest *request = [NSURLRequest requestWithURL:url cachePolicy:NSURLCacheStorageAllowed timeoutInterval:30.0]; NSURLConnection *connection = [[NSURLConnection alloc] initWithRequest:request delegate:self]; if (connection==nil) { NSLog(@"Invalid request"); } -(void)connection:(NSURLConnection *)connection didReceiveResponse:(NSURLResponse *)response { postData = [[NSMutableData alloc]init]; NSLog(@"Response received"); } -(void)connection:(NSURLConnection *)connection didReceiveData:(NSData *)data { [postData appendData:data]; NSLog(@"Data received"); } -(void)connectionDidFinishLoading:(NSURLConnection *)connection { [UIApplication sharedApplication].networkActivityIndicatorVisible = NO; similarPosts = [NSJSONSerialization JSONObjectWithData:postData options:kNilOptions error:nil]; [postsTbl reloadData]; for (id postObject in similarPosts) { NSLog(@"Relatable Post: %@",postObject); } }

  • ssh + tinyproxy: poor performance

    - by Paul
    I am currently in China and I would like to still visit some blocked websites (facebook, youtube). I have VPS in the USA and I have installed tinyproxy on it. I log in on my VPS with SSH port-forwarding and I have configured my browser appropriately. Everything works more or less: I can surf to those websites but everything is inusually slow and sometimes data transfer stops abruptly. This probably has to do with the fact that I see some errors in my shell on the VPS like : channel 6: open failed: connect failed: Also in the log-file of tinyproxy I see some bad things: ERROR Sep 06 14:52:14 [28150]: getpeer_information: getpeername() error: Transport endpoint is not connected ERROR Sep 06 14:52:15 [28153]: writebuff: write() error "Connection reset by peer" on file descriptor 7 ERROR Sep 06 14:52:15 [28168]: readbuff: recv() error "Connection reset by peer" on file descriptor 7 ERROR Sep 06 14:52:15 [28151]: readbuff: recv() error "Connection reset by peer" on file descriptor 7 ERROR Sep 06 14:52:15 [28143]: readbuff: recv() error "Connection reset by peer" on file descriptor 7 ERROR Sep 06 14:52:17 [28147]: writebuff: write() error "Connection reset by peer" on file descriptor 7 ERROR Sep 06 14:52:23 [28137]: writebuff: write() error "Connection reset by peer" on file descriptor 7 ERROR Sep 06 14:52:26 [28168]: getpeer_information: getpeername() error: Transport endpoint is not connected ERROR Sep 06 14:52:27 [28186]: read_request_line: Client (file descriptor: 7) closed socket before read. So any help is appreciated.

After reading this I attempted to follow the directions by rebooting my computer into safe mode. After I run "sfc /scannow" I receive the following error message: The specific error code is 0x000006ba [The RPC server is unavailable]. When I go into Services, it says that the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service is running but that the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Locator is not running. When I try to start the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Locator, it gives me an error saying: Error 1084: This service cannot be started in Safe Mode What can I do about this? If it can't find the Remote Procedure Call service in safe mode?

  • ssh tunnel - bind: Cannot assign requested address

    - by JosephK
    Trying to create a socks (-D) ssh tunnel - Linux box to Linux box (both centos): sshd running on remote side ok. From local machine we do / see this: ssh -D 1080 [email protected]. [email protected]'s password: bind: Cannot assign requested address (where 8.8.8.8 is really my server's IP and 'user' is my real username) I am logged into the remote side in this terminal-window. I can verify that the local port was unused prior to this command, and then used by an ssh process, after the command, via: netstat -lnp | grep 1080 So, unlike most googled-responses with this error, the problem would not seem to be the loopback interface assignment. If I try to use this tunnel with a mail client, the local-side permits the attempt (no 'proxy-failed' error), but no data / reply is returned. On the remote side, I do have "PermitTunnel yes" in my sshd_config (though 'yes' should be the default, anyway). Ideas or Clues? Here is the relevant debug-output OpenSSH_5.3p1, OpenSSL 1.0.0-fips 29 Mar 2010 debug1: Reading configuration data /etc/ssh/ssh_config debug1: Applying options for * .... debug1: Authentication succeeded (password). debug1: Local connections to LOCALHOST:1080 forwarded to remote address socks:0 debug1: Local forwarding listening on 127.0.0.1 port 1080. debug1: channel 0: new [port listener] debug1: Local forwarding listening on ::1 port 1080. bind: Cannot assign requested address debug1: channel 1: new [client-session] debug1: Entering interactive session. debug1: Sending environment. debug1: Sending env LANG = en_US.utf8 Other clue: If I run a Virtual Box on the client running Windows, open a tunnel with putty in that box, that tunnel, to the same remote server, works.

  • Automate Windows 7's file sharing and firewall settings

    - by nhinkle
    I am working with my school to customize Windows 7 on some new laptops we are receiving. The laptops come with Windows 7 Professional already installed, and we do not need or want to reimage them. We would however like to customize the installation once it is in place, through a series of scripts. We will also be deploying these scripts to computers which have already been set up. Most of the settings we wish to change can be done easily from the command line or with a registry file. However, there is one thing we keep getting hung up on: networking options. Is there any unattended way to set the Windows 7 networking configuration? We would like to set the following things automatically, which are found under Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Advanced sharing settings > Home or Work network: Turn on network discovery Turn on printer and file sharing Turn off public folder sharing Turn on password protected sharing Use user accounts and passwords to connect to other computers We also need to configure the firewall to allow the following exceptions: File and printer sharing Remote assistance Remote desktop Remote scheduled tasks management Remote service management Windows remote management I've looked around, and can't find any way to change these things - I looked into netsh, registry settings, and even used RegMon to watch while I changed the values manually, all to no avail. Google hasn't offered up anything helpful so far. If anyone could provide some insight, I would very much appreciate it. I did find out that much of this is configurable with group policy, but because these computers are in a workgroup, not a domain, I don't know of any way to take advantage of that in an unattended manner.

  • Connecting a limited user to win server 2003 through LogMeIn

    - by Jeff
    Logmein support can't help me, maybe someone here can. I have a user on a windows 2003 server (non administrator). When I first created him and tried to connect through remote desktop I got the error "The local policy of the system does not permit you to logon interactively." I looked up the error and saw that this user was not a member of the Remote Desktop Users group. I added him to the group and was able to remote desktop in just fine. Then I tried to connect this user to the server through LogMeIn (pro trial version). I got the same error as when the user was not a part of the Remote Desktop Users group ("The local policy of the system does not permit you to logon interactively."). Can anyone tell me any other groups the user must be a member of in order to be allowed access through LogMeIn? I would image this is a common requirement logmein support seemed to have no idea.

  • DCOM Authentication Fails to use Kerberos, Falls back to NTLM

    - by Asa Yeamans
    I have a webservice that is written in Classic ASP. In this web service it attempts to create a VirtualServer.Application object on another server via DCOM. This fails with Permission Denied. However I have another component instantiated in this same webservice on the same remote server, that is created without problems. This component is a custom-in house component. The webservice is called from a standalone EXE program that calls it via WinHTTP. It has been verified that WinHTTP is authenticating with Kerberos to the webservice successfully. The user authenticated to the webservice is the Administrator user. The EXE to webservice authentication step is successful and with kerberos. I have verified the DCOM permissions on the remote computer with DCOMCNFG. The default limits allow administrators both local and remote activation, both local and remote access, and both local and remote launch. The default component permissions allow the same. This has been verified. The individual component permissions for the working component are set to defaults. The individual component permissions for the VirtualServer.Application component are also set to defaults. Based upon these settings, the webservice should be able to instantiate and access the components on the remote computer. Setting up a Wireshark trace while running both tests, one with the working component and one with the VirtualServer.Application component reveals an intresting behavior. When the webservice is instantiating the working, custom, component, I can see the request on the wire to the RPCSS endpoint mapper first perform the TCP connect sequence. Then I see it perform the bind request with the appropriate security package, in this case kerberos. After it obtains the endpoint for the working DCOM component, it connects to the DCOM endpoint authenticating again via Kerberos, and it successfully is able to instantiate and communicate. On the failing VirtualServer.Application component, I again see the bind request with kerberos go to the RPCC endpoing mapper successfully. However, when it then attempts to connect to the endpoint in the Virtual Server process, it fails to connect because it only attempts to authenticate with NTLM, which ultimately fails, because the webservice does not have access to the credentials to perform the NTLM hash. Why is it attempting to authenticate via NTLM? Additional Information: Both components run on the same server via DCOM Both components run as Local System on the server Both components are Win32 Service components Both components have the exact same launch/access/activation DCOM permissions Both Win32 Services are set to run as Local System The permission denied is not a permissions issue as far as I can tell, it is an authentication issue. Permission is denied because NTLM authentication is used with a NULL username instead of Kerberos Delegation Constrained delegation is setup on the server hosting the webservice. The server hosting the webservice is allowed to delegate to rpcss/dcom-server-name The server hosting the webservice is allowed to delegate to vssvc/dcom-server-name The dcom server is allowed to delegate to rpcss/webservice-server The SPN's registered on the dcom server include rpcss/dcom-server-name and vssvc/dcom-server-name as well as the HOST/dcom-server-name related SPNs The SPN's registered on the webservice-server include rpcss/webservice-server and the HOST/webservice-server related SPNs Anybody have any Ideas why the attempt to create a VirtualServer.Application object on a remote server is falling back to NTLM authentication causing it to fail and get permission denied? Additional information: When the following code is run in the context of the webservice, directly via a testing-only, just-developed COM component, it fails on the specified line with Access Denied. COSERVERINFO csi; csi.dwReserved1=0; csi.pwszName=L"terahnee.rivin.net"; csi.pAuthInfo=NULL; csi.dwReserved2=NULL; hr=CoGetClassObject(CLSID_VirtualServer, CLSCTX_ALL, &csi, IID_IClassFactory, (void **) &pClsFact); if(FAILED( hr )) goto error1; // Fails here with HRESULT_FROM_WIN32(ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED) hr=pClsFact->CreateInstance(NULL, IID_IUnknown, (void **) &pUnk); if(FAILED( hr )) goto error2; Ive also noticed that in the Wireshark Traces, i see the attempt to connect to the service process component only requests NTLMSSP authentication, it doesnt even attmept to use kerberos. This suggests that for some reason the webservice thinks it cant use kerberos...

  • Windows 8 unable to connect to WPA2 AES Wireless Network

    - by user170193
    I'm running Windows 8 and am unable to connect to my home wireless network. I've tried restarting the router, patching the drivers to the next version, patching the drivers to the last version, running windows update and patching the chipset drivers to the latest version. So far nothing has worked. My computer can get on the internet via USB tethering on my phone or an open WiFi connection, but it is unable to connect to my home WPA2 AES secured wireless network. It sees the network, attempts to connect, gets a limited connection and then drops the connection. All the other wireless devices in my household have no problems. I have the new Dell XPS 12, running Windows 8 using an Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235 wireless adapter. I've refreshed windows twice now to try different driver configurations. I've tried uninstalling all the Dell software, I've tried uninstalling all the Intel software and reinstalling just the drivers. I've tried turning switching the ability for the Wireless driver to turn the computer off or on. I've tried setting up the connection manually from desktop mode. I've tried switching it on and off using the wireless button on the keyboard and in the software. So far nothing has allowed me to connect to the secured network. It just keeps getting a limited connection, dropping the connection and retrying. It's driving me crazy, any ideas, anything I missed? Thanks.

  • Vista ICS issue

    - by Bill Grey
    I have a strange problem with Internet Connection Sharing on a laptop running Vista Business. This laptop is connected to the internet via the ethernet port, which goes to an ADSL modem. it is automatically assigned the IP address 192.168.1.50, and the modem/gateway is 192.168.1.1 My friends laptop is running Vista Home. Previously, I would create an ad hoc wireless network, enable ICS, and everything would be perfect. My friend would have internet access via this. However, something has now mysteriously broken. If I enable ICS on the wireless connection, it resets my Local Area Connection, assigning it the manual IP address of 192.168.0.1, which means my connection to the internet is destroyed. Both wireless adapters on each network are assigned auto configuration addresses, in the 168. range. They can see each other fine, but my friends laptop cannot access the internet via mine, even after I have restored the Local Area Connection settings. I understand the computer with ICS enabled must have the IP of 192.168.0.1, but previously, before whatever went wrong, my wireless adapter would be 192.168.0.1 and my friends computer would get an IP via DHCP. I have also tried setting static IP address and making a bridge, none of which works. How can I fix this problem, and prevent enabling ICS from touching my Local Area Connection? Both machines have no firewall, have appropriate settings etc...

  • Useful Command-line Commands on Windows

    I am trying to connect to hidemyass.com VPN services via PPTP, but I am having issues understanding why it isn't working, since I don't get a warning or fatal error and my IP remains the same. This is how i create the connection: [root@lasvegas-nv-datacenter ~]# pptpsetup --create TUNNELNAME --server 199.58.165.20 --username MYUSERNAME --password MYPASSWORD --encrypt --start And this is the output: Using interface ppp0 Connect: ppp0 <-- /dev/pts/1 CHAP authentication succeeded MPPE 128-bit stateless compression enabled local IP address 10.200.21.14 remote IP address 10.200.20.1 After that, I check the log and this is what i get: [root@lasvegas-nv-datacenter ~]# tail -f /var/log/messages Aug 24 11:25:33 lasvegas-nv-datacenter pptp[3892]: anon log[ctrlp_rep:pptp_ctrl.c:254]: Sent control packet type is 1 'Start-Control-Connection-Request' Aug 24 11:25:33 lasvegas-nv-datacenter pptp[3892]: anon log[ctrlp_disp:pptp_ctrl.c:754]: Received Start Control Connection Reply Aug 24 11:25:33 lasvegas-nv-datacenter pptp[3892]: anon log[ctrlp_disp:pptp_ctrl.c:788]: Client connection established. • Internal but no external Citrix Access?

    - by leeand00
    We recently had to reload our configuration of Citrix on our server Server1, and since we have, we can access Citrix internally, but not externally. Normally we access Citrix from http://remote.xyz.org/Citrix/XenApp but since the configuration was reloaded we are met with a Service Unavailable message. Internally accessing the Citrix web application from http://localhost/Citrix/XenApp/ on Server1 we are able to access the web application. And also from machines on our local network using http://Server1/Citrix/XenApp/. I have gone into the Citrix Access Management Console and from the tree pane on the left clicked on Citrix Access Management Console->Citrix Resources->Configuration Tools->Web Interface->http://remote.xyz.org/Citrix/PNAgent Citrix Access Management Console->Citrix Resources->Configuration Tools->Web Interface->http://remote.xyz.org/Citrix/XenApp, which in both cases displays a screen that reads Secure client access. Here it offers me several options: Direct, Alternate, Translated, Gateway Direct, Gateway Alternate, Gateway Translated. I know that I can change the method of use by clicking Manage secure client access->Edit secure client access settings which opens a window that reads "Specify Access Methods", and below that reads "Specify details of the DMZ settings, including IP address, mask, and associated access method", I don't know what the original settings were, and I also don't know how our DMZ is configured so that I can specify the correct settings, to give access to our external users on the http://remote.xyz.org/Citrix/XenApp site. We have a vendor who setup our DMZ and does not allow us access to the gateway to see these settings. What sorts of questions should I ask them to restore remote access?

  • Can I attach a VPN firewall to an existing network and have it manage VPN connections?

    - by jules
    I'm quite new to networking and am trying to set up my first VPN connection. The Situation: I have been contracted for some programming at a facility some distance from my location. I would like to be able to set up a simple VPN connection to their network so that I may make adjustments without significant travel. Their Current Network: Six devices (one I need to connect to) plugged into a basic router (Dlink). This router has an internet connection and a static ip address. My Hopeful (questionable) Proposal: I attach a VPN Firewall I happen to own (Netgear FVS318) as device number seven on the client network. I disable routing / DHCP in the Netgear. I forward the appropriate IPSec ports from the Dlink to the Netgear. I then create a VPN connection on my office Windows 7 machine to the remote network. The request is forwarded from the Dlink to the Netgear where the VPN connection is authenticated. I now have a remote-access connection from my office PC to the client's local network. The Question: Will this proposal work? If not, would another possibility be to attach a computer with a VPN server to the client network? Also, as a note: the client has requested I not replace their router or place mine in-between theirs and the internet :( Thanks very much!

  • Postfix send remotely for X account

    - by Ben Scobie
    I setup Postfix a few days ago to deliver email bound for my host name remotely instead of locally as I want email sent to my remote [email protected] account without trying to be sent locally. However, this causes a problem as it tries to send local bound mail(root) to my remote server as well ([email protected]). I would like E-mail bound for [email protected] to be sent to the remote server(GMail Apps in this case) and everything else sent locally(using the alias file perhaps), is this possible? My current configuration: http://pastebin.com/htwSQB61

    Problem: On my wireless network at home, there is one URL that I just cannot access with my browser: http://research.microsoft.com/ I have no problems with the Internet connection otherwise. But on that address I just get The connection was reset The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading. from Firefox. Additional technical details: But with my connection, here is what I get from nslookup. It is weird: It first cannot find the address, but after I look up another address it can find it: $ nslookup research.microsoft.com ;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached $ nslookup google.com Non-authoritative answer: Name: google.com Address: 72.14.204.104 Name: google.com Address: 72.14.204.147 Name: google.com Address: 72.14.204.99 Name: google.com Address: 72.14.204.103 $ nslookup research.microsoft.com Non-authoritative answer: Name: research.microsoft.com Address: 131.107.65.14 But even after nslookup finds it Firefox still cannot access it.
