  • Construct a Netflix Affiliate URL to a search result page?

    I have a Netflix Affiliate account, but I don't want to direct users to the homepage for them to create an account, I want to direct them to a search result page. The reason for this is that on our site we have lots of titles but they can't be reliably linked to a single Netflix result programmatically, so we would prefer if we could direct users to a search page, and if the user signs up, get the revenue. Is this possible? I find the whole Netflix-Affiliate-but-Google-Affiliate scheme a bit daunting.

  • JSon/Jquery request with a setTimeout always returns a "null" result? (for Twitter Search API)

    I make a call to the twitter API. 100 posts are retreived + a properties that tells me what the next page to call is. So I wait 5 sec. and call that next page, but the JSon results in the callback function is always null the second time... I think it's probably a JQuery problem...     Friends, Our JSP code uses both Spring form tags and JSTL tags. Is there a way that when I search for getFoo() in the Eclipse Java Search, for Eclipse to also return uses of the foo property in the JSP files? I suspect the answer is "no", because there isn't a way at compile time to tell the types of the JSP beans, but its worth asking, right?

    My Ubuntu server is configured with Apache 2.2.8 and PHP 5.2.4-2ubuntu5.18 in FastCGI mode.   • Kindle (client) for Mac--text search or highlighting/notes?

    just so we're clear, i'm talking about the client/software version here--ie, that you install on your Mac or PC--not the device. The Kindle client was recently released for the Mac. I downloaded it and bought a couple of Kindle-edition books to view on this client. Astonishingly, two features i consider to be more or less essential to any ebook reader are missing in the Kindle client, either that, or i can't find them: (i) text searching; and (ii) highlighting text. First, does anyone know how to access the search feature? I'm aware of the "Go To" button at the top middle of the reader window--the options in that menu when you click the button are: "Cover", "Table of Contents", "Beginning" and "Location." "Location" requires that you type in an integer (but it doesn't correspond to page number--e.g., typing "167" brought me to the table of contents), not a search term. Second, there's a button on the upper right-hand corner of the window "Show Notes and Marks" yet i can't find any way to highlight text. The only kind of "note" or "mark" i have been able to record is to "bookmark" a page by clicking the "bookmark" button also at the top of the window.

  • ATI propriatery drivers install latest 12.8, broke my kernel. Stuck on kernel 3.2.0-26

    I messed up a bit. Hoping some here can help me. I tried to install the newest catalyst 12.8. Sadly, this broke my system. I was stuck in low graphics mode. I finally managed to restore the proprietary drivers, and get into ubuntu again. But now I am stuck on kernel 3.2.0.26. I had installed kernel 3.2.0-30, but the system no longer sees it. I have kernel 3.2.0-29 too, but the system cannot see that as well. In the grub menu. When I use sudo update-grub, they are both listed.     While i was trying to setup some reports on a SPF 2010 site. After trying to add a Sql Reporting Webpart i get the error: Session state has been disabled for ASP.NET. The Report Viewer control requires that session state be enabled in local mode I never came across that error before when using RSWebaprts in Sharepoint 2007:) But i think is related to ASP.NET sessions state:( Any to fix it you would have to start to make sure the SharePoint Server ASP.NET Session State Service is enabled.     Hey there. I'm writing an application in WPF using the MVVM-pattern and will really often use TextBoxes. I don't want to use labels for the user to know user what the text box is for, i.e. I don't want something like this: <TextBlock> Name: </TextBlock> <TextBox /> Instead, I would like the TextBox to contain its own label. Statically, you would express it like this: <TextBox>Name</TextBox> If the cursor is displayed in the textbox, i.e. the TextBox gains focus, I want the description text to disappear. If the TextBox is left empty and it loses the focus, the description text should be shown again. It's similar to the search textbox of StackOverflow or the one of Firefox. (please tell me if your not sure what I mean). One TextBox's label may change at runtime, dependending on e.g. a ComboBox's selected element or a value in my ViewModel. (It's like in Firefox's search TextBox, if you select google from the search engins' menu, the TextBox's label changes to "Google", if you select "Yahoo" its set to "Yahoo"). Thus I want to be able to bind the label's content. Consider that I may already have a Binding on the Text-Property of the TextBox. How can implement such a behaviour and make it reusable for any of my TextBox's? Code is welcome but not needed; a description of what to do is enough. Thank you in advance.

  • Cannot get UISearchBar Scope Bar to appear in Toolbar on iPad

    This is really causing me fits. I put a toolbar on the IUView on the iPad. I added the following: Search Bar (not Search Bar and Search Display) to the toolbar. I set the options to be as follows: Show Cancel Button, Show Scope Bar, Scope Button Titles are: "Title1" and "Title2" (with Title2's radio button selected). Opaque, Clear Context and Auto Resize are checked. I hooked up the delegate of Search Bar to the "File's Owner" and linked it to IBOutlet theSearchBar. In my viewWillAppear I have the following: [theSearchBar setScopeButtonTitles:[NSArray arrayWithObjects:@"Near Me",@"Everywhere",nil]]; //Just in case: [theSearchBar setShowsScopeBar:YES]; //doesn't seem to do anything: //[theSearchBar sizeToFit]; searchDisplayController = [[UISearchDisplayController alloc] initWithSearchBar:theSearchBar contentsController:self]; [self setSearchDisplayController:searchDisplayController]; [searchDisplayController setDelegate:self]; [searchDisplayController setSearchResultsDataSource:self]; //again--does not seem to do anything..but people have suggested it: [theSearchBar sizeToFit]; Okay, so far, I thought, so good. So, I made the File's Owner .m file to be a delegate for: UISearchBarDelegate, UISearchDisplayDelegate. My issue: I have yet to implement the delegates necessary to do the search but still... shouldn't I be seeing the scopeBar next to the search field when I click into the search field? Just so you know I DO see the log of the characters I type, so the delegate is working. (not that i expect anything other than "No Results Found". I am wondering where the scope bar is supposed to appear...in the titleView of the UIPopover? In the toolbar to the right of the search area? Where?

    hi, i'm searching forward in an array of strings with a regex, like this: for (int j = line; j < lines.length; j++) { if (lines[j] == null || lines[j].isEmpty()) { continue; } matcher = pattern.matcher(lines[j]); if (matcher.find(offset)) { offset = matcher.end(); line = j; System.out.println("found \""+matcher.group()+"\" at line "+line+" ["+matcher.start()+","+offset+"]"); return true; } offset = 0; } return false; note that in my implementation above i save the line and offset for continuous searches. anyway, now i want to search backwards from that [line,offset]. my question: is there a way to search backwards with a regex efficiently? if not, what could be an alternative? 10x, asaf :-) clarification: by backwards i mean finding the previous match. for example, say that i'm searching for "dana" in "dana nama? dana kama! lama dana kama?" and got to the 2nd match. if i do matcher.find() again, i'll search forward and get the 3rd match. but i want to seach backwards and get to the 1st match. the code above should then output something like: found "dana" at line 0 [0,3] // fwd found "dana" at line 0 [11,14] // fwd found "dana" at line 0 [0,3] // bwd
