    What's the best way for loading a dll from a dll ? My problem is I can't load a dll on process_attach, and I cannot load the dll from the main program, because I don't control the main program source. And therefore I cannot call a non-dllmain function, too.

    I want to get a list of timezones, so that i can populate the dropdown list. In .NET 3.5, we have TimeZoneInfo namespace, here is the code: ReadOnlyCollection<TimeZoneInfo> timeZones = TimeZoneInfo.GetSystemTimeZones(); foreach (TimeZoneInfo timeZone in timeZones) string name = timeZone.DisplayName However, "DisplayName" is in English. How can I pass the cultureInfo so that it can return other languages? I tried setting the Thread.CurrentCulture and CurrentUICulture, it didn't work. Am I missing something?

    I have a multiple language website, that uses subdirectories from the root ('/en' for english and '/es' for spanish) for each specific language. Each redirect appends a get variable to the URL, and hides it using a 'P' flag for proxy. My current htaccess file for the spanish subfolder is: Options +FollowSymlinks RewriteEngine on RewriteOptions MaxRedirects=10 RewriteBase / RewriteRule ^(.*)\.html$ $1.php RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.domain.com/$1?l=es [P,R=301,L] The problem is that I also want to append the 'www' to the domain if it was left off. The proxy redirect does not show the 'www.' Is it possible to place a rewriterule before that final one that will append the www, and then still process the final one?

  • Yahoo OAuth implementation has no way to work offline

    I need to download my Delicious bookmarks to a non-web application without constant user interaction. I'm using Delicious's V2 API (using oAuth) but the problem is it seems their access tokens expire after one hour. I don't have any issues with redirecting the user to Yahoo for a one time authorization, but what is described here (http://developer.yahoo.com/oauth/guide/oauth-refreshaccesstoken.html) means I would have to refresh my access tokens all the time before they expire when the user is away. Is this really the way they've done their oAuth implementation?

    Hi there. I'm packaging my open-source non-commercial java application in a .jar and I'd like to package the JDBC mysql-connector with it as it is a dependency. The issue that I am having is that I'm uncertain whether or not this is frowned upon or even illegal due to the JDBC license.   • CakePHP with AJAX loaded pages

    Hi there. I am trying to create a website in which all interaction takes place on a single page which has its main content filled via AJAX. The site is effectively a template with a central interaction area. Users can click links which results in an AJAX request to fetch a new page to display in the interaction area. In this way, the page never refreshes, instead it has its content fetched and displayed via AJAX. I have found that the CakePHP framework has many useful features that could work with this project, however, I do not no if the Cake's MVC architecture would work with my single page architecture. So, what I really want to know is if I can use CakePHP features and functions on a website of this type, and also if anyone could give me any helpful tips on how I would go about implementing it. I am sorry if this is rambling or vague, english is not my mother tongue so I have trouble expressing what I have to say clearly. Thank you for your time.

    What I need to do is to break atom to tokens. E. g.: tokenize_string('Hello, World!', L). would unify L=['Hello',',','World','!']. Exactly as tokenize_atom/2 do. But when I try to use tokenize_atom/2 with non-latin letters it fails. Is there any universal replacement or how I can write one? Thanks in advance.

    Assuming that I cannot run something like this with Fabric: run("svn update --password 'password' .") how's the proper way to pass to Fabric the password for the remote interactive command line? I am not sure, but the svn server we're using might have some restrictions to not allow --non-interactive passwords and I couldn't find a way to automatically update a remote repo.

    Hi, I was trying to get gcc give error message in a different language.   • UITextView text disappear

    Hi, i create an uitextview dynamically then i write my text into it. Sometime, when i create the uitextview, the cursor disappear and i see no text in it. If i run the application again, i can see the text inside the textview that i've created before. I've tried to set the cursor position to zero or scroll the text to the top but it doesn't work... Any suggestion? Here is a screen capture.     Is there anything non-RESTful about providing parameters to a HTTP DELETE request? My scenario is that I'm modeling the "Are you sure you want to delete that?" scenario and eventually I end up having to pass a parameter to the delete request with "?force_delete=true" e.g. DELETE http://server/resource/id?force_delete=true If the user does not specify force_delete then I'm returning 409 Conflict - is that correct?
