  • What can cause a persistent "Reload the page to get source for" error in firebug?

    I'm trying to debug the javascript of a specific page, and I keep seeing Reload the page to get source for page.htm in Firebug. On Chrome, I'm mostly able to debug the js, but sometimes I also get a blank page. What can cause such issues? I believe I always see a blank page in Chrome if I reload while the JS console is open. If I open a new Chrome tab, load the page, and then open the JS console, everything is ok. The page I'm debugging is on a localhost server (Play Framework server), although I have seen this on other pages occasionally. This only happens with inline javascript ... js that is linked from the page is displayed fine.

  • Android source referencing missing classes

    I cloned some of the trees from the Android Open Source Project to take a look at the code, but I can't build them because they reference classes which don't seem to exist. For instance, the music application here references android.media.MediaFile which according to the package summary does not exist, as well as things like ArrayListCursor which has an old javadoc around but is absent in current documentation. So is the open source project disjoint from the released SDK? Also, is there a way to build these open source packages with the current SDK? Thanks, -JQP

  • problem when opening new window in asp.net application, new window didnt show anything

    Hello I have an asp.net application which I used some Ajax method. in some cases I open an new window ( Full Screen ) and users must work on it. the problem is , some users report me that some times new window was blank and didnt show any content , in status bar just write connecting .... and nothing else. Just when customers closed all opening browser and open again , they can view pages. this happend when users work for a while and click open new window links before the page loaded compeletly. how can I fix this problem? regards

My boss installed wamp for me through his admin account, but i am unable to open it via my user account. I have to call him everytime i have to open wamp and its being a real hazzle to me ? Is there a way my standard user account be given privileges to use wamp and other datababse related things?

    I get this error when compiling: forrtl: severe (256): unformatted I/O to unit open for formatted transfers, unit 27, file C:\Abaqus_JOBS\w.txt The error occurs in the beginning of the analysis. At the start, the file w.txt is created but is empty. The error may be related to the fact that I want to read from an empty file.     Hi, I wrote Powershell script to copy a worksheet from a workbook A to another workbook B. The worksheet contains define names for ranges within that sheet. Originally, the defined names are global in workbook A, ie. can be referenced from any worksheets within workbook A. But now, after copy to worksheet B, the defined names are limited to that worksheet only. How to I programmatically (via Powershell script preferably) make all those named range global i.e. can be referenced from all worksheets within workbook B.     I'm trying to create a very simple Windows-XP batch file: Program1.exe Sleep 3 Program2.exe Sleep 5 Program3.exe Sleep 11 Of course, I don't want to have to exit each program, before the next 1 starts. The default for batch-files seems to be "stop until the previous program exists". How do I get this script to run as expected? Edit: The 3 executables listed above are more like "notepad" type programs. They open and run and don't just "open,run,close".

    I'm refactoring a bit in my Emacs set up and have come to the conclusion that I want to use a different init file than the default one. So basically, in my ~/.emacs file, I have this: (load "/some/directory/init.el") Up until now, that's been working just fine. However, now I want to redefine an old command that I've used for ages, which opens my init file: (defun conf () "Open a buffer with the user init file." (interactive) (find-file user-init-file)) As you can see, this will open ~/.emacs no matter what I do. I want it to open /some/directory/init.el, or wherever the conf command itself is defined. How would I do that?

  • Show & Hide hidden files on demand in Windows

    A little while ago I discovered that on Ubuntu linux one can display or conceal hidden files on demand at run-time by pressing [Ctrl-H]. This is really handy. Is there anyway this can be had on windows? I'm guessing Windows Explorer is not amenable to this, so I'm open to 3rd party file managers provided they're open source, freeware, or cheap (in order of preference). thanks

  • Excel workbooks produced by POI don't work when linked

    Here is what I'm doing : Create a workbook in memory (book = new HSSFWorkbook(), ...) Save it to disk (book.write(...)) Open in Excel (ok) Create another workbook in Excel, which links to the first one (=PoiWorkbook?xls!A1) Close Excel Then everytime I open the second workbook again, all the links are #N/A, unless I also open the POI-generated workbook at the same time. I never saw this behaviour with standard workbooks created in Excel. Anyone has seen this and found a workaround ? Thanks.

  • How do you close a VMWare Fusion VM Window without shutting it down or suspending it?

The first is: I'm running a virtual machine guest using vmrun and nogui, when I open the VMWare Fusion application, the window library opens but subsequently also opens any window of a running VM. Is there a way to prevent this? Secondly, but related: Once it does pop up or I have that separate VM Window open, is there a way to close the window such that it does not suspend or shutdown the vm i.e. convert it back to nogui mode?

  • Determining filetype of file in assets folder

    Question: How do you programmatically distinguish between directories and regular files in the assets folder? When using AssetManager to access files in the assets folder, it seems impossible to determine if a file is in fact a file or a directory. You get the list of files from the list method and then open the file using the open method. I thought perhaps using the openFd method to get the asset file descriptor (and then subsequently requesting the normal file descriptor) would provide me some information. But requesting the file descriptor for a directory results in an IOException (which makes sense since what would it mean for a directory to have a file descriptor...?). Currently I'm relying on that IOException (resulting from attemptng to open a directory in the assets folder) in order to determine if a file is in fact a directory. (Opening a regular file works just fine). This seems like a bad idea. Any other suggestions to distinguish between a file and a directory?

    Hey guys I'm using Jquery flowplayer tools overlay to open external links. External links are working fine with this piece of code shown in the link: http://www.demiseonline.com/misc/Iframeoverlay.html Now using this overlay - I wanted to open the twitter dialog which asks users to Allow access to their account. So in the code below, I replaced http://www.google.com with https://twitter.com/oauth/authenticate?oauth_token=VPVRIsnRz9IX4CAab7brert3jHiEs <div class="apple_overlay black" id="Overlay1" <iframe src ="http://www.google.com" width="100%" height="595px" frameborder="0" </iframe </div When I replace the code, as soon as I load the page, even before I click on the link to open the overlay - the page gets redirected to the twitter URL. Any idea why that happens for this URL. Thanks

My requirement is additionally pass the registry path as parameter, so when a launch happens (note no change in the launch) iexplore <<"URL String" should translate into something like iexplore <<"URL String" "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\http\shell\open\command\" How should my registry key HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\http\shell\open\command\ modified so as to get the extra registry path appended for all shell launches ?   • Missing the "add tab group to favorites " option in IE8

    I have internet options selected for quick tabs and tab groups in setting, IE8 WIndows XP. I can open a list of favorites from the menu using the blue arrow as a tab group. I can then use the quick tabs button to show the groups open. However, I do not have the "add tab group to favorites" option in the pull down menu for favotites at the Favorite Bar. Is this a Vista feature only?
