• Best web application language for Delphi Developers

  I'm Delphi developer, and I would like to build few web applications, I know about Intraweb, but I think it's not a real tool for web development, maybe for just intranet applications so I'm considering PHP, Python or ruby, I prefer python because it's better syntax than other( I feel it closer to Delphi), also I want to deploy the application to shared hosting, specially Linux. so as Delphi developer, what do you choose to develop web application?

  I used google.map api to develop a project which works well on android 2.1. But when I run the same project on android 2.2, it encountered some errors. The shown errors are " -- AndroidRuntime FATAL EXCEPTION:main -- AndroidRuntime java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:android.net.NetworkConnectivityListener -- AndroidRuntime at com.google.android.maps.MapActivity.onCreate(MapActivity.java:199) " I don't know where is the problem?   Hi, I'm using hessian protocol for communication betwee server (java) and various client applications. Now I started to develop Windows Phone 7 client. I downloaded hessian C# implementation but it does not compile for windows phone 7/silverlight. Does anyone managed to make it work on WP7/Silverlight? It's looks like there is many thing to be done/changed to make it work, which I'd like to avoid if it has been done by someone already. Thanks.

I would like to set the file chooser's default location to the users' home directory regardless of what user is running it. I've tried the ~/ short cut - fchFolder1.SetCurrentFolder("~/"); - but this did not work. I was just wondering if there was a value that the gtk file chooser used to refer to the users home directory? Thanks

  I just installed the Nfc Demo from google, but it doesn´t read the information from the Tag.- It just provides some fakeTag information. Has anybody an idea, where I can change the sample to read from the nfc Tag? Or has somebody a working nfc demo for the nexus? My question is, in situations like FOUC (flash of unstyled content) which usually require little snippets of code right before the closing </body> tag, is there a JQuery resolution that would serve the same purpose, but from a remote Javascript file linked in the <head> of the document?

• Why do I get UDP datagrams out of order even with processes runnning locally?

  Well, I'm developing a java interface between a streaming server and a flash client. I noticed that UDP datagrams can reach my interface out of order even if both processes are running locally.
