  I'm trying to create a custom drop down and using the code below it works pretty well - only one problem is if i have more than one drop down, all the links will only activate the first drop down. Any ideas on how I would fix that?   My list looks like this: * TODAY ** TODO Item 1 ** TODO Item 2 * TOMORROW ** TODO Item 3 ** TODO Item 4 ...as a single list, based on some advice I received here. I'd like to move TODO Item 2 from under TODAY to under TOMORROW. The manual says: M-up M-down Move the item including subitems up/down (swap with previous/next item of same indentation). If the list is ordered, renumbering is automatic. But while I can change the places of Item 1 and Item 2, I cannot move Item 2 outside of the Today heading---I cannot move it down under TOMORROW to proceed Item 3. The buffer tells me: cannot move past superior level or buffer limit org mode What is the keystroke that lets me move sub-items "past superior level" to under new headings?

• Data tweaking code runs fine when executed directly - but never stops when used in trigger

  I have written some code to ensure that items on an order are all numbered (the "position number" or "item number" has been introduced only recently and we did not want to go and change all related code - as it is "asthetics only" and has no functional impact.) So, the idea is to go and check for an records that jave an itemno of NULL or 0 - and then compute one and assign it. When executing this code in a query window, it works fine. When putting it into an AFTER INSERT-trigger, it loops forever.   Ok, I am trying to create a custom view called CheckedRelativeLayout. It's purpose is the same as a CheckedTextView, to be able to use it in a list of items you want selected or in a Spinner. It's all working fine now, I extended RelativeLayout and implemented Checkable interface. However, I am stuck on a quite simple problem: Where can I find the Drawable that CheckedTextView and RadioButton use? I looked at the sourcecode of both, and they seem to use com.android.internal.R. Well... that's internal stuff. So I can't access it. Any way to get these Drawables or solve the problem somehow?

  Hi, I have a UITableView with a list of items such as item1, item2, item3, item4 and so on. If I select on item1, it will go to the detail view of item1 (which is controlled by DetailsViewController). What I am trying to do is to add a button called "Next" on DetailsView. When clicked, the DetailsView will refresh and show item2. When clicked again, it will show item3 and so on. I have been searching high and low for that to implement. But to no avail. • Paypal IPN setup...Ship to Zipcode and auto calculation

  Hi I have successfully setup paypal IPN on my site and its working fine. From my paypal account I have set options to ass shipping and tax calculations(only if it's Iowa). But the only issue is, on the paypal checkout page it's asking me to enter the "Ship to Zipcode" manually...if I enter and update only then the net payable is getting updated with the shipping and tax charges. Is there any variable via which I could send the ship to zip code which will work directly on the cart and make it auto calculate the charges and show it? I have tried both "zip" and "address_zip" variables. None of them worked. By the way I have multiple items on my cart so I am using the "cart" transaction type. Thanks in advance for your help.

I want to show the invoices with commissions whether they have a commission payment or not.   When I run this SQL statement: CREATE UNIQUE INDEX WordsIndex ON Words (Word ASC); I get the following exception message: The CREATE UNIQUE INDEX statement terminated because a duplicate key was found for the object name 'dbo.Words' and the index name 'WordsIndex'. The duplicate key value is (ass). The statement has been terminated. The 'Word' column has a datatype of nvarchar(100). There are two items in the 'Word' column that SQL Server interprets as the same: 'aß' and 'ass', which causes the indexing failure. Why would SQL Server interpret those two different words as the same word?

  Hello, I have a ManyToMany relationship between two classes, for instance class Customer and class Item. A customer can buy several items and an item can be bought by different customers. I need to store extra information in this relationship, for example the day when the item was bought. I wonder how is this usually modelled in JPA, cause I'm not sure how to express this in code. Do I have to create a new class to model all the attributes of the relationship and make a manyToMany relationship between the other classes or is a better way to do this? Thanks

  How to use optimistic locking with batch updates? I am using SimpleJdbcTemplate and for single row I can build update sql that increments version column value and includes version in WHERE clause. Unfortunately te result int[] updated = simpleJdbcTemplate.batchUpdate does not contain rowcounts when using oracle driver. All elements are -2 indicating unknown rowcount. Is there some other, more performant way of doing this than executing all updates individually? These batches contain an average of 5 items (only) but may be up to 250.

The above code uses auto mapping, which i tried after i tried with fluent mapping.

  Hi, I am trying to create an array with different href's to then attach to 5 separate elements. This is my code: var link = new Array('link1', 'link2', 'link3', 'link4', 'link5'); $(document.createElement("li")) .attr('class',options.numericId + (i+1)) .html('<a rel='+ i +' href=\"page.php# + 'link'\">'+ '</a>') .appendTo($("."+ options.numericId)) As you can see I am trying to append these items from the array to the end of my page so each link will take the user to a different section of the page. But i have not been able to do this. Is there a way to to create elements with different links? I am new to javascript so I am sorry if this doesn't make a whole lot of sense. • Dynamic openrowset in T-Sql Function or viable alternative?

  I'm not quite sure how to phrase this. Here is the problem: I have 1-n items that I need to join to a different system (AS400) to get some data. The openrowset takes forever if I specify the where criteria outside of the openrowset, e.g.: select * from openrowset('my connection string', 'select code, myfield from myTable') where code = @code My idea was to create a function that takes in the item number and uses dynamic sql to inject it into the openrowset string, a la: declare @cmd varchar(1000) set @cmd = 'select * from openrowset('my connection string', ''select code, myfield from myTable where code = ' + @code + ''')' Apparently I can't use the insert.. exec.. strategy inside of a function. Is there any better way to achieve this? I was going to use this in joins where I needed the external data using cross apply. I'm not married to tvf and cross apply, but I do need a method of getting this data quickly. Thanks for any help.

• Can't get a LiveFolder to launch my activity like it should

  I was able to create a ContentProvider for a LiveFolder, but I can't seem to be able to create my intents correctly, so it always gives "Application is not installed on your phone" errors when clicking on items inside the folder. My Activity is defined like so, in the manifest: <activity android:name=".MyActivity"> <intent-filter> <action android:name="android.intent.action.VIEW" /> <category android:name="android.intent.category.DEFAULT" /> </intent-filter> </activity> Then, I create the intents I place in the LiveFolders.INTENT column like this: i = new Intent(); i.setAction(null); i.setClassName("my.package.here", ".MyActivity"); I don't get why this is not working. Maybe I'm making some stupid mistake, but please point me in the right direction.

• iFrame src something other than javascript:false but same effect

  Is there any other way to write javascript:false that is more pleasant? I'm building a print functionality for an intranet app (for IE6) and I make the printed page using an iframe: $('body').append('<iframe id="printIFrame" src="javascript:false"></iframe>'); $("#printIFrame").attr('style','position:absolute;left:-500px;top:-500px;'); Without having javascript:false in the src, I'll get the "This page contains both secure and nonsecure items" popup when I create it. However the downside of this is that "javascript:false" gets printed as the title on the bottom left of each page (instead of about:blank or something more useful). Is there some kind of javascript technique that I can write javascript:false but in cleaner terms? I tried something like this var PrintOut = false; $('body').append('<iframe id="printIFrame" src="PrintOut"></iframe>'); But I couldn't get that working. Any other ideas?

• MS Sql Full-text search vs. LIKE expression

  Hi. I'm currently looking for a way to search a big database (500MB - 10GB or more on 10 tables) with a lot of different fields(nvarchars and bigints). Many of the fields, that should be searched are not in the same table. An example: A search for '5124 Peter' should return all items, that ... have an ID with 5124 in it, have 'Peter' in the title or description have item type id with 5124 in it created by a user named 'peter' or a user whose id has 5124 in it created by a user with '5124' or 'peter' in his street address. How should i do the search? I read that the full-text search of MS-Sql is a lot more performant than a query with the LIKE keyword and i think the syntax is more clear, but i think it cant search on bigint(id) values and i read it has performance problems with indexing and therefore slows down inserts to the DB. In my project there will be more inserting than reading, so this could be a matter. Thanks in advance, Marks

I would like to change a css attriubute on a specific anchor tag and class when it is clicked so lets say the background color is changed. • Flex - Tab View Multiple DataGrids and same dataProvider

  I have a flex application in which I have a TabNavigator with multiple tabs and a datagrid in each of those tabs. I have bound s single array of data to each grid. What I want to do is to bind each grid with a particular set of data in that array i.e. to distribute array contents among grids based on data type. For example items starting with letter A could be displayed in first grid, B in second, starting with C in third and so on. Hence you can say alphabetically distribute the data on different grids. The problem is that the data will be added randomly by the user. To make one data array for each grid is not an option (due to design restrictions). Any suggestions please? Thanks in advance

  In menu.html, I have my menu items(a href links), let's call them, menu_1, menu_2, .... In map.js displays the contents of a map, it calls an API to display some layers and maps. I have a lot of maps to show but i only want to call the api once. Using AJAX, I was wondering if it's possible to have an if/then or select/case in my js, so that if menu_1 is clicked, then implement map_1 etc. without having the page to reload. The only way I thought I could do this is using Post/get .. so when you click on menu_1 it takes you to page.php?page_id=1 . JS will read that and display the map. I'm new to JS and AJAX so please feel free to butcher me

  Hi, When creating a ContextMenuStrip, there is a huge amount of padding around the contained controls. What actually pops up is this: The button is there, as expected, but despite there being no margin, no padding, and having set both Show*Margin settings to False, there is a massive border around the Button. I'm probably missing something blindingly obvious, but how can I get rid of all the white bordering, especially that huge right-hand margin?
