• Custom Transport Agent: How do I collect NDRs and all other undeliverables in Exchange 2010 from the Postmaster?

  I'm trying to collect all NDRs in a single mailbox for all invalid recipients, and anything that fails for any reason.   I'm converting a CSV to SQL inserts and there's a null-able text column which I need to quote in case it is not NULL. I would write something like the following for the conversion: Import-Csv data.csv | foreach { "INSERT INTO TABLE_NAME (COL1,COL2) VALUES ($($_.COL1),$($_.COL2));" >> inserts.sql } But I can't figure out how to add an additional tier into the pipeline to look if COL2 is not equal to 'NULL' and to quote it in such cases. • Hide non printable characters in vim

  Vim shows non-printable characters prefixed with a ^ (for instance ^@ for a NUL byte). I have a column based file containing both printable and non-printable characters which is difficult to read, since each non-printable character shifts all remaining columns one character to the right. Is there a way to hide non-printable characters or simply display a placeholder char instead? I also don't mind having every character be represented by two characters.

  i have a text file where each line looks like this: <img border=0 width=555 height=555 src=http://websitelinkimagelinkhere> each line is like that for like 1500 lines, i want to sort of 'grep' (i dont think that will work because it returns the whole line) each line for 'http://websiteimagelinkhere' output file should have newlines or tabs after each image link, like the original file. or if someone only knows a way to do this with each element being in a cell of the same column that would be okay too.

  I did some reorganisation of my mail in Lotus Notes 7 this mornign, and seem to have lost some in the process. Not knowing Notes very well, I have two questions: if I selected some mail in the Inbox using the check-column, and dragged that mail into a folder, then selected some more mail in the Inbox, and hit the Del key, will the group of emails that were dragged into the other folder be deleted too, because I didn't unselect them? is there a way to search in all folders, rather than just the current folder?

• joining text files with 600M+ lines

  I have two files huge.txt and small.txt. Huge has around 600M rows and it's 14Gigs, each line has four space separated words (tokens) and finally another space separated column with a number. Small has 150K rows with a size of ~3M, a space separated word and a number. Both Files are sorted using the sort command, with no extra options. The words in both files may include apostrophes (') and dashes (-). The deisred output would contain all columns from the huge.txt and the second column (the number) from small txt where the first word of huge.txt and the first word of small.txt match. My attemtpts below failed miserably with the following error: cat huge.txt|join -o 1.1 1.2 1.3 1.4 2.2 - small.txt > output.txt join: memory exhausted What I suspect is that the sorting order isn't right somehow even though the files are pre-sorted using: sort -k1 huge.unsorted.txt > huge.txt sort -k1 small.unsorted.txt > small.txt Problems seem to appear around words that have apostrophes (') or dashes (-). I also tried dictinoary sorting using the -d option bumping into the same error at the end. I see two ways out of this but don't know how to implement any of them. 1) Any tips how to sort the files in a way that the join command considers them to be sorted properly? 2) I was thinking of calculating MD5 or some other hashes of the strings to get rid of the apostrophes and dashes, and do the sorting and joining with the hashes instead of the strings themselves an dat the "translate" back the hashes to strings, but leave the numbers intact at the end of the lines. Since there would be only 150K hashes it's not that bad. What would be a good way to calculate individual hashes for each of the strings? Some AWK magic? See file samples at the end. • Pasting to Excel from Word - stop a Word new line being converted into a new cell

  So I have a table in MS Word which has two columns. In the second column the text is spread on multiple lines, ie I have pressed 'Enter' to achieve this. When I paste into Excel, it converts these separate lines into separate cells. What I want it to do is to keep the lines in the same cell, just on different lines, ie what would happen if I were to press Alt+Enter in a cell in excel. How would I go about this?

• Unable to use autossh in background even with absolute path

  I would love to set autossh to run at boot adding it to /etc/rc.local. This command works: autossh -i /root/.ssh/id_rsa -R 2522:localhost:22 user@address But, if I add the -f option autossh -f -i /root/.ssh/id_rsa -R 2522:localhost:22 user@address The ssh session is not started.   How can I make Vista home premium access OS X hard drive? and the other way around? I'd like to transfer files via direct ethernet. Plugging in an ethernet cable makes both computers recognize a network, but not the other device. Each firewall is turned off, but no luck. Edit: I don't see Windows Sharing in the Service Column.

How can I set a variable in the http context so it will affect all servers? Might the lua module be able to help with this (although I'd rather have a pure nginx solution). • DKIM, spam probability, signing with key at mail server vs sender domain?

  I'm working on an email marketing tool and so far we've been recommending our customers to set up an SPF-record (Sender-ID) and a DKIM-record, we also have our own SPF-record on the mail server and a shared DKIM-record for those who do not set up their own DKIM-record. Those that do not set up their own DKIM-records still pass the DKIM-test, but with the notice that "identity doesn't match any headers" (according to port25), i.e, it doesn't match the textual sender domain. But does anyone know if this "discrepancy" actually has any impact on spam scoring/probability, i.e, should we continue to recommend our customers to set up a DKIM-record (as opposed to just using our shared) or is just wasted effort?

• isa 2006 blocks outgoing traffic with no rule specified

  I've created a rule near the top, allowing all outgoing traffic from "All Users" from specified IP range to external network. However, connections are blocked sometimes for no apparent reason. For example, one attempt to ssh to an external server would fail, and another immediatelly after that - won't. to the same server! logging shows thoose failed connections as denied, but "rule" column is blank. any suggestions?

This support article http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4226 from Apple explains how to backup calendar data by exporting to an .ics file. I would like to automate that process via AppleScript, Automator or any other method (paid software is fine). The sticking point with AppleScript is selecting the calendar on the left hand column. In Automator I don't think the available actions support this level of automation.

• Problem connecting with RDP between Mac and Win2k3 server

  I have an iMac running Mac OS X 10.5.8 and the RDP Connection Client 2.0.1. http://salle.dyndns.org/misc/rdp%5Fproblem1.png When I try to connect to a Windows 2003 Server on the same network I get a dialog saying "Remote Desktop Connection cannot verify the identity of the computer that you want to connect to".   I love the Epic privacy browser because it is built from the ground up to enhance privacy. It's built on Chromium but because it has stripped out all code that tracks users across the Internet, pages load faster and things work snappier. With one click you can enable a proxy to hide your IP address, sort of like Chrome's "Incognito" mode on steroids. But there's a problem: if I load Epic, go to facebook.com, log in, and then click the proxy button, I can use Facebook for a while. But eventually, Facebook would throw up an error screen, saying that it thinks that my account has been hacked, and then it would make me verify my identity, force me to change my password, etc. I've had to change my password four times in as many days, which is very annoying. Now I turn on the proxy for browsing on to every other site but Facebook. Question: how can I use the proxy settings on Epic privacy browser to successfully log onto and use Facebook?

• App pool gets stuck on reset and takes .net pages out

  Several times after our app pool has been told to reset, it gets stuck, the .net pages go down and the following error appears in the application event log: Failed to execute request because the App-Domain could not be created. Error: 0x80070057 The parameter is incorrect. Our app pool is scheduled to automatically reset at 4am, so the errors stay up until we manually restart the app pool. Has anyone else encountered the error or know of any solutions? Research has suggested it's a permissions issue, but the permissions don't change and the error happens infrequently. The site has no other permission based problems and the app pool identity has permission where needed.

  I have configured my email server to cache all email to my mailbox. So [email protected] and [email protected] go to one mailbox. Every forum, registration, and guy get their own address for sending me emails so I can deliver it to /dev/null if anyone start spamming. That's the working setup. Now the problem: If I reply to a message, then Thunderbird always sets my default Identity as sender. I know I can add additional identities, but I don't want to add every address. How can I configure when a email is sent to [email protected], I answer with [email protected].

• Show cell selection in Excel when not in focus

  It's really annoying that Excel (2003 and 2007) doesn't show what cell, row or column that is selected when the window is not in focus. I typically want to refer to the current cell or row while working in another application. Is there any workaround or fix that will make the cell/row highlighted when not in focus? I know that you can copy a cell (Ctrl+C) but it's kind of tiresome to do that every time.
