  • Converting float values from big endian to little endian

    Is it possible to convert floats from big to little endian? I have a value from a PowerPC(big endian)platform that I am send via TCP to a Windows process (little endian). This value is a float, but when I "memcpy" the value into a win32 float type and then call _byteswap_ulongon that value, I always get 0.0000? What am I doing wrong?

I've tried to create some HttpExchange instances and applying the send() method for each, in an asynchronous mode, but each HTTP request has waited for it response before the next request was sent. If I use javax.xml.ws.Dispatch then its send only XML data, but I need transfer binary data. Please give some solution, but I don't prefer to use JAX-RS or Restlets. Thanks.

All emails will come to a single address (this can't change unfortunately), and I need to be able to determine where they go. My initial thought was setting the message-id for the item so that it comes back as a References header. any ideas on how to accomplish this with ActionMailer?
