• Not able to use cutomized Ajax HTML editor from code behind

  I am customizing the ajax html editor. I am creating a class which derives from ajax html editor, and overriding FillTopToolbar() method to have limited toolbar buttons. I am trying to use this in my aspx page. <%@ Register namespace="Content" tagprefix="edit" %> <edit:MyEditor runat="server" Width="100%" Height="250px"/> I am able to see the editor in my aspx page. The problem comes when I give an ID to the control <edit:QNAEditor ID="htmlEditor" runat="server" Width="100%" Height="250px"/> I get an error in the designer file in the below line. protected global::Content.MYHTMLEditor htmlEditor; I am not able to use it in code behind. I am using VS 2010. Please help me in this regard.

• Flex: vertical gap between list items not working

  I have a list item with buttons in it like so: <mx:List contentBackgroundAlpha="0" baseColor="0x333333" leading="10" id="weekButtonList" width="260" borderVisible="false" dataProvider="{_data.mappoints.week.@number}" itemClick="onWeekClick(event);" > <mx:itemRenderer > <mx:Component> <mx:Button buttonMode="true" width="260" height="50" label="Week {data}" /> </mx:Component> </mx:itemRenderer> </mx:List> No matter what I do, these buttons have a vertical gap inbetween them. I have tried everything from setting the "vertical-gap" property to negative and positive numbers as well as changing the padding-bottom and padding-top on them. I want the buttons to be right up against eachother vertically. I have also tried "button-height" and padding on the List component...still nothing. How do I control this?

  I am trying to create a help panel for an application I am working on. The help file as already been created using html technology and I would like it to be rendered in a pane and shown. All the code I have seen shows how to render a site e.g. "http://google.com".   Hey people, I have converted a short clip to an .swf file, i want to implement it on my website: <object width="400" height="300"> <param name="movie" value="movie.swf"> <embed src="movie.swf" width="400" height="300"> </embed> </object> When i play it it autoplays (that's fine) but it also keeps repeating over and over, i'd like it to stop at the end and just display the end frame (as mentioned i converted a movie so i cant do it with actionscript in the .fla file). • How do I translate a point from one rect to a point in a scaled rect?

  I have an image (i) that's been scaled from its original size (rectLarge) to fit a smaller rectangle (rectSmall). Given a point p in rectSmall, how can I translate this to a point in rectLarge. To make this concrete, suppose I have a 20x20 image that's been scaled to a 10x10 rect. The point (1, 1) in the smaller rect should be scaled up to a point in the larger rect (i.e. (2,2)). I'm trying to achieve this with: result.x = point.x * (destRect.size.width / srcRect.size.width ); result.y = point.y * (destRect.size.height / srcRect.size.height); However, the points generated by this code are not correct - they do not map to the appropriate point in the original image. What am I doing wrong?

  i have created a dynamic table through vb.net, so htmltable, htmltablerow, htmltablecell. I have added all style and properties in there. so eg. dim td as htmltablecell td.style.add("width","100px") td.style.add("color","blue") now what i want to do is add the tag to each row. this is because the first td of every row is a checkbox. and then textboxes follow. So when anyone clicks on the textbox, i want to checkbox to get checked. Any idea how I can do this?

• What's the right way to calculate derived data in a Flex AdvancedDataGrid using summaries?

  Here's the gist of the problem: I have a set of rows of data with (say) field1 to field4 in them. I'm using a GroupingCollection to group on field1 and field2. So, I have something like this: f1.1 f2.1 f3.1 f4.1 f3.2 f4.2 f2.2 f3.3 f4.3 f3.4 f4.4 f3.5 f4.5 f1.2 f2.1 f3.6 f4.6 f2.2 f3.7 f4.7 f3.8 f4.8 f3.9 f4.9 (or at least, I hope that's clear enough) I need to calculate some derived values for each leaf row, for example f3, that is the ratio of f3 to the average of all f3 in that particular part of the tree. So, for f3.7 I need to calculate f3.7 / avg(f3.7..f3.9) and fill that into the f3_index property on the row, displaying that in lieu of f3 itself. So, basically, what it looks like I have to do is add source field values in the summarizeFunction implementation. It seems to me that there must be a better way of doing this. Is there?

  Anyone know if its possible to enable horizontal scrolling ONLY in a windows forms listview (viewmode set to large icons). What I want to do is make a listview whose height is sufficient to only show one row of icons, and I don't want to have multiple rows. Just one very long row that a user would have to scroll horizontally to get to out-of-range icons. If I make the listview scrollable then it automatically makes multiple rows and puts in a vertical scrollbar, which I don't want. Thanks in advance!

  Hi all, I get a org.hibernate.ObjectNotFoundException when I want to delete an object which doesn't exist anymore via hibernate. I just want this exception to be ignored. I could catch the exception and ignore, this would be a solution maybe. But, since there is a hibernate support for ignoring this exception through org.hibernate.cfg.Configuration#entityNotFoundDelegate, I would like to use its advantage and control it using configuration. The question is then, how can I introduce my own/custom implementation of EntityNotFoundDelegate to the org.hibernate.cfg.Configuration? Does anybody have a sample code for me? Just an additional tip, I use Spring Framework as well in my project. Is there a way to get the list delegates to 'pop out' of their cells?   Hi, I have a m x n matrix where each row consists of zeros and same values for each row. an example would be: M = -0.6 1.8 -2.3 0 0 0; 0 0 0 3.4 -3.8 -4.3; -0.6 0 0 3.4 0 0 In this example the first column consists of 0s and -0.6, second 0 and 1.8, third -2.3 and so on. In such case I would like to reduce m to 1 (get a vector from a given matrix) so in this example a vector would be (-0.6 1.8 -2.3 3.4 -3.8 -4.3) Does anyone know what is the best way to get a vector from such matrix?   Hello friends, I have a formview on my aspx page containing various controls arranged using table. There is a DDL "cboClients" which i need to enable or disabled depending upon role within Edit mode. The problem here is that i am not able to get that control using FindControl() method. • How do I make a google larger by scale

  I've just started using google charts and want to use it in a small project I'm workin on but I've bumped into a problem. The thing is I want the charts rather big at a static size and look good but I'm generating the charts dynamically with php. Now the problem is that I can't get it to scale properly in width but height is perfectly fine. Here's an example chart I've generated: Parameters: cht=bvo&chs=400x400 chd=t:1,4,1 chxr=2,0,4,1 chds=0,4 chco=4d89f9 chxt=x,x,y,y chxl=0:|3|7|26|1:|Correct+answers|3:|People You see how the chart fills the 400px of height but not the width. I've searched and look through the api but I can't get it right.

  Guys, I just need a little help with some CSS layout if you don't mind. I've got three things I'm trying to play around with and I need some help making this work the way I was hoping. I've got the element of a page, which I'd like to be 100% of the browser window, obviously. Then I've got two elements which I'd like to stack on top of each other, but the trick is this, I'd like the bottom div, (a menu which should really be a fixed height) to determine the height of the top div. Is there a way to lay this out in CSS?

• Unable to display data in a WPF datagrid that has a DataView instance as the items source

  I am using a DataGrid object from the WPF toolkit. I am binding the DataGrid object to the default view of a DataTable instance as declared in the following code: WeatherGrid.ItemsSource = weatherDataTable.DefaultView; weatherDataTable has three columns. The first column is defined to contain a string data type. The other two columns are defined to contain double data types. When the application exits the function that calls the binding as expressed in the declaration, The DataGrid object displays data for the first column, but not the other columns. When I type the following in the immediate window in the debugger: ((DataRowView)WeatherGrid.Items[0]).Row[1] I get a number, but this doesn't correspond with what is being displayed. Why is only the first column visible, and how can I get all of the data to be visible? • create text inside a rectangle using inkscape

  I've put some text inside a rectangle using inkscape so the tree is like <svg:rect><svg:text><svg:tspan>text.... The problem is, I can't see the text. I've tried fiddling with the opacity of the rect to no avail. There should be a way of doing this from the UI? • Move Image or Div Up As Window Resizes?

  Hi, I have an image in my html with a class of "stretch". Currently, with css, this image re-sizes as the window re-sizes to be 100% of the screen width. I would also like it to move upwards as the window is being re-sized. I'm assuming this can be done with jQuery but I am not quite sure. Basically the "top" css value just needs to change as the screen width does. Here is the css that is currently re-sizing it: .stretch { width: 100%; height: auto; min-height: 420px; position: absolute; top: -200px; } Thanks, Wade
