    I've got a string of HTML that I need to grab the "[Title|http://www.test.com]" pattern out of e.g. "dafasdfasdf, adfasd. [Test|http://www.test.com/] adf ddasfasdf [SDAF|http://www.madee.com/] assg ad" I need to replace "[Title|http://www.test.com]" this with "Title". What is the best away to approach this? I was getting close with: string test = "dafasdfasdf adfasd [Test|http://www.test.com/] adf ddasfasdf [SDAF|http://www.madee.com/] assg ad "; string p18 = @"(\[.*?|.*?\])"; MatchCollection mc18 = Regex.Matches(test, p18, RegexOptions.Singleline | RegexOptions.IgnoreCase); foreach (Match m in mc18) { string value = m.Groups[1].Value; string fulltag = value.Substring(value.IndexOf("["), value.Length - value.IndexOf("[")); Console.WriteLine("text=" + fulltag); } There must be a cleaner way of getting the two values out e.g. the "Title" bit and the url itself. I’ve used JavaScript ~2 years ago (just a little), so I don’t really know how to write the exact code. I’ve found something on the internet, but it doesn’t do what I want. I want to have the following: The user can check the RadioButtons. When the user clicks the Button, the JavaScript function should return all the checked radio buttons (I only need to know which RadioButton is checked). Since I know the name of the RadioButtons in my Windows 8 App, I can do the following: var object = WebView.InvokeScript("JavaScriptFunctionNAME", NameOfRadiobutton); So the WebView invokes the script and should get as a return the VALUE of the RadioButton, which is checked. “JavaScriptFunctionNAME” = name of the function in Javascript NameOfRadiobutton = the name of the RadioButton as a parameter (for example “frage1”). Currently I’m returning the value of the radiobutton, which is checked in the RadioGroup “frage1”. How can I check every RadioButton by it’s parameter? By this I mean I have a parameter “frage1” and return the value of the checked RadioButton. After this, I call the function again with the parameter “frage2” and return the checked RadioButtons value. Could anyone help me out with the JavaScript-function?

    I have a View Model that looks like this: public class SomeViewModel { public SomeViewModel(IEnumerable<SelectListItem> orderTemplatesListItems) { OrderTemplateListItems = orderTemplatesListItems; } public IEnumerable<SelectListItem> OrderTemplateListItems { get; set; } } I then have an Action in my Controller that does this: public ActionResult Index() { var items = _repository.GetTemplates(); var selectList = items.Select(i => new SelectListItem { Text = i.Name, Value = i.Id.ToString() }).ToList(); var viewModel = new SomeViewModel { OrderTemplateListItems = selectList }; return View(viewModel); } Lastly my view: @Html.DropDownListFor(n => n.OrderTemplateListItems, new SelectList(Model.OrderTemplateListItems, "value", "text"), "Please select an order template") The code works fine and my select list populates wonderfully. Next thing I need to do is set the selected value that will come from a Session["orderTemplateId"] which is set when the user selects a particular option from the list. Now after looking online the fourth parameter should allow me to set a selected value, so if I do this: @Html.DropDownListFor(n => n.OrderTemplateListItems, new SelectList(Model.OrderTemplateListItems, "value", "text", 56), "Please select an order template") 56 is the Id of the item that I want selected, but to no avail. I then thought why not do it in the Controller?     This is what I have in my schema section of my WSDL to specify the field has to be comparison operators <xsd:simpleType> <xsd:restriction base="xsd:string"> <xsd:pattern value="&lt;|&gt;|&lt;=|&gt;=|="/> </xsd:restriction> </xsd:simpleType> SoapUI complains about this part of the WSDL, I tried to set the value to something with non special characters and the WSDL is valid. So I tried to replace that whole long string to be value=">gt;" and it valid but value="<lt;" is not valid, and value=">" is also not valid. My question is, why does the WSDL validation need > to be double escaped? The main question is, how to provide a valid less than side within the pattern value.

In .NET 4.0 Beta 2, this code perfectly works at runtime : var dateTimeList = new List(); dynamic myDynamicObject = dateTimeList; object value = DateTime.Now; myDynamicObject.Add(value); Now, with last release of .NET 4.0, I have an exception at run time (to solve myDynamicObject.Add(value);) :-( In my real code, 'myDynamicObject' is a dynamic (but I know that it is always an ObservableCollection where T can be anything). 'value' is an instance which was got by some reflexions. As 'value' can have any type, the type of 'value' is Object. Do you see how can I solve this new limitation of .NET 4.0 ? Thanks

    In my knowledge, the RESTful WCF still has ".svc" in its URL. For example, if the service interface is like [OperationContract] [WebGet(UriTemplate = "/Value/{value}")] string GetDataStr(string value); The access URI is like "http://machinename/Service.svc/Value/2". In my understanding, part of REST advantage is that it can hide the implementation details. A RESTful URI like "http://machinename/Service/value/2" can be implemented by any RESTful framework, but a "http://machinename/Service.svc/value/2" exposes its implementation is WCF. How can I remove this ".svc" host in the access URI?

    setup: hibernate 3.3, MySQL 5 I have an hibernate entity that have its PK generated using a sequence table. How do I tell hibernate that I want to have the primary key for the sequence table set on KEY_COL ?

    Hi all, I have got a cookie string from HTTP response header like the following line: name=value; path=/; domain=.g.cn; expire=... I can parse the above line to key-value pairs, and, also it's easy to set the name and value to HttpCookie instance as this pair comes the first. But how to set the other pairs since I don't know which set-method corresponds to the name of the next name-value pair. Traverse all possible keys a cookie may contian and call the matched set-method, like below snippet? if (key.equalsIgnoreCase("path")) cookie.setPath(value); else if (key.equalsIgnoreCase("domain")) cookie.setDomain(value); That's foolish, any convenient ways?
