Lucene.NET 2.9 and BitArray/DocIdSet

I found a great example on grabbing facet counts on a base query. We are told to use DocIdSet instead (rather than BitArray). I cannot found out how to do the bitArray.And(bitArray) with a docIdSet. I looked in reflector and found OpenIdSet which has And operations. Not sure if OpenIdSet is the route to go, I'm just stating. Thanks in advance!

Javascript/Greasemonkey: search for something then set result as a value

Ok, I'm a bit of a n00b when it comes to JS (I'm not the greatest programmer) so please be gentle - specially if my questions been asked already somewhere and I'm too stupid to find the right answer. Self deprecation out of the way, let's get to the question. Problem There is a site me and a large group of friends frequently use which doesn't display all the information we may like to know - in this case an airline bookings site and the class of travel. While the information is buried in the code of the page, it isn't displayed anywhere to the user. Using a Greasemonkey script, I'd like to liberate this piece of information and display it in a suitable format. Here's the psuedocode of what I'm looking to do. Search dom for specified element define variables Find a string of text If found Set result to a variable Write contents to page at a specific location (before a specified div) If not found Do nothing I think I've achieved most of it so far, except for the key bits of: Searching for the string: The page needs to search for the following piece of text in the page HEAD: mileageRequest += "&CLASSES=S,S-S,S-S"; The Content I need to extract and store is between the second equals (=) sign and the last comma ("). The contents of this area can be any letter between A-Z. I'm not fussed about splitting it up into an array so I could use the elements individually at this stage. Writing the result to a location: Taking that found piece of text and writing it to another location. Extra text shown on oveflow: hidden

I'm keeping the main content area of the webpage small, so that footer navigation can be seen "above the fold". This is done by javascript setting the main content <div> thus: sec.style.height = '265px'; sec.style.overflow = 'hidden'; And then using javascript to insert a button to change the style back to normal: sec.style.height = 'auto'; The problem is that the cut-off point of 265px (dictated by the size of an image which I don't want to hide) doesn't quite match the gap between lines of text. This means that there the tops of tall letters show as funny little marks. Is there any way to hide text which is partially showing in a <div style="overflow: hidden;">? jQuery datepicker returns "inst is null" error when loaded via AJAX

I'm loading content via an AJAX call into a table row added to the DOM on the fly. I'm calling the datepicker functionality in my callback function and the calendar shows fine. However, when I click on the date, I get an error: inst is null. How to make Chrome redraw SVG dynamically added content?

I've dynamacally added the circle elements to the svg displayed in a iFrame. Chrome isnt showing the new elements, not tried FF yet. Is there somekind of redraw/refresh I need to call? VS2008 javascript debugger IE8 "there is no source code available for the current location"

I have almost the same problem as this unanswered question. The only difference is I'm using VS2008, but I'm in an MVC project calling this javascript function: function CompanyChange(compCtrl) { alert(compCtrl.value); debugger; var test; for (var i = 0; i < document.all.length; i++) { test = document.all[i]; } } I hit the alert, then I get the message "there is no source code available for the current location." At which point the page becomes unresponsive and I have to manually stop the debugger just to shut it down. I've logged into another machine and ran this exact code and it works fine, I hit the debugger and can step through. I've checked to make sure all settings in VSToolsOptionsDebugging are identical as well as IEOptionsAdvanced and they are. Both machines are Windows 7 Enterprise edition 32-bit, VS2008, IE8. I've also tried attaching a process manually in VS, and using the 'Developer Tools' in IE which didn't work (said there already was a process attached). I was hoping someone may have had this problem and found a work-around because I've already done a lot of searching and tried all the options I've read. Anyone else run into this? Thank you, Jeff

Canon MF3200 Printer Problems

I bought a Canon MF3200 and used it on an old Windows laptop. The laptop broke, and now I'm trying to setup the printer on a laptop with Windows 7. I downloaded the new driver, and Windows was able to install it and mark it "Ready to Go." But whenever I try to print, an error comes up and it doesn't print. I tried to troubleshoot, to no avail. What else can I do? Any ideas on what the error might be?

How to install mod_wsgi 3.1 on Ubuntu 9.10

I have a Python 3 web app so mod_wsgi < 3.1 doesn't cut it for me. However, on my Ubuntu 9.10 installation there doesn't seem to be a package for mod_wsgi 3.1. Is there an alternative repository that has a package for mod_wsgi 3.1? There's a new Ubuntu release not so long from now, will it contain mod_wsgi 3.1? Some other distro ready with mod_wsgi 3.1 to recommend? Maybe my best bet is to compile it myself? From a quick google it looks like I only need the python and apache dev packages installed. Thanks!

I'm able to merge the documents, but some of my formatting is missing (namely the fonts and images). Problem receving in RXTX

I've been using RXTX for about a year now, without too many problems. I just started a new program to interact with a new piece of hardware, so I reused the connect() method I've used on my other projects, but I have a weird problem I've never seen before. The Problem The device works fine, because when I connect with hyperterminal, I send things and receive what I expect, and Serial Port Monitor(SPM) reflects this. However, when I run the simple hyperterminal-clone I wrote to diagnose the problem I'm having with my main app, bytes are sent, according to SPM, but nothing is received, and my SerialPortEventListener never fires. Even when I check for available data in the main loop, reader.ready() returns false. If I ignore this check, then I get an exception, details below. Edit: something interesting When I open hyperterminal after sending a bunch of commands from java that should have gotten responses, all of the responses appear immediately, as if they had been put in the buffer somewhere, but unavailable. Edit 2: Tried something new, same results I ran the code example found here, with the same results. No data came in, but when I switched to a new program, it came all at once. Edit 3 The hardware is fine, and even a different computer has the same problem. I am not using any sort of USB adapter. I've started using PortMon, too, and it's giving me some interesting results. Hyperterminal and RXTX are not using the same settings, and RXTX always polls the port, unlike HyperTerminal, but I still can't see what settings would affect this. As soon as I can isolate the configuration from the constant polling, I'll post my PortMon logs. Edit 4 Is it possible that some sort of Windows update in the last 3 months could have caused this? It has screwed up one of my MATLAB mex-based programs once. Edit 5 I've also noticed some things that are different between HyperTerminal, RXTX, and a separate program I found that communicates with the device (but doesn't do what I want, which is why I'm rolling my own program) HyperTerminal - set to no flow control, but Serial Port Monitor's RTS and DTR indicators are green Other program - not sure what settings it thinks it's using, but only SPM's RTS indicator is green RXTX - no matter what flow control I set, only SPM's CTS and DTR indicators are on. Using SSL with Openfire

I'm having a rough time getting SSL configured properly on an Openfire install. Quite honestly, I just don't know what to do. It seems convoluted on the steps necessary to get a cert imported. Has anyone out there successfully done this? I'm running Openfire 3.6.4 on Server2003 R2. I have a signed UC cert which is ready to roll, I just don't know what to do with it. I've been through tons of tutorials on converting from .crt to .der to .pem, using openssl and java tools, but its only getting more confusing as I go.

problem connecting to datasource defined in freetds.conf

I can connect successfully to my database using tsql when I bypass the freetds.conf file, like so: % TDSVER=8.0 tsql -H 10.100.102.202 -p 1086 -U sa After I enter my password, I am presented with a 1> prompt, and it is ready for my commands. However, if I try to connect using the definition in my freetds.conf file, like this: % tsql -S Millie -U sa after entering my password, it seems to be trying to generate a prompt, but it just keeps counting. I will see 1, followed by 2, etc, without ever displaying a > character. Here is what I have for my freetds.conf: [global] # TDS protocol version tds version = 8.0 text size = 64512 [Millie] host = 10.100.102.202 port = 1086 What could be causing this anomaly? Passing in defaults within window.onload?

I now understand that the following code will not work because I'm assigning window.onload to the result of the function, not the function itself. But if I remove the parens, I suspect that I have to explicitly call a separate function to process the config before the onload. Multiple vlan issue with procurve switch

I have a cisco asa5505 as my rtr/fw(10.1.3.254). I have vlan 1 and vlan 3. Vlan 1 is my default all access vlan. Vlan 3 is my Guest(dmz) vlan. I can't seem to get a dhcp ip address when my laptop is plugged into port 42 on my procurve. I have plugged my laptop directly into the firewall and it gets a dhcp ip fine(the firewall is dhcp server). the firewall is plugged into port 41. Only vlan3 needs to go over port 41. I'm sure I have a bonehead config problem however I'm about ready to pull out what little hair I have left. vlan 1 name "Computers" forbid 45 untagged 1-41,43-44 ip helper-address 10.1.1.16 ip address 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.0 tagged 46-48 no untagged 42,45 exit vlan 3 name "Guest Wireless" ip helper-address 10.1.3.254 ip address 10.1.3.1 255.255.255.0 tagged 41-42,44-48 exit

Dell printer goes offline after second print job.

Dell printer goes offline(server connection) after second print job. Although the printer's display says it is ready. If you turn off then on the printer you can send one job and goes back offline(server connection) on the next print job. We have multiple Dell 2330dn printers installed through a print server, only one of the printers is experiencing this problem. Two different users. Two different machines. Two different operating systems (win7 and Vista). The computers have been reset. Dell printers have web interface if this helps (through IP address). Thanks for any help!

Setting httponly in JSESSIONID cookie (Java EE 5)

I'm trying to set the httponly flag on the JSESSIONID cookie. I'm working in Java EE 5, however, and can't use setHttpOnly(). First I tried to create my own JSESSIONID cookie from within the servlet's doPost() by using response.setHeader(). When that didn't work, I tried response.addHeader(). That didn't work either. Then, I learned that the servlet handled converting the session into a JSESSIONID cookie and inserting it into the http header so if I want to play with that cookie, I'll have to write a filter. I wrote a filter and played with setHeader()/addHeader() there, again to no avail. Then, I learned that there's some flush/close action going on in the response object before it gets to the filter so if I want to manipulate the data, I need to extend HttpServletResponseWrapper and pass that to filterChain.doFilter(). This is done but I'm still not getting results. Clearly I'm doing something wrong but I don't know what. I'm not sure if this is at all relevant to the question at hand but no html document is being returned by the servlet to the browser. All that's really happening is that some objects are being populated and returned to a JSP document. I've sort of assumed that The Session object is turned into a JSESSIONID cookie and wrapped -- along with the objects added to the request -- in an http header before being sent to the browser. I'd be happy to post some code but I want to rule out the possibility that my difficulties stem from a misunderstanding of the theory first.

Async Load JavaScript Files with Callback

Hi All, I am trying to write an ultra simple solution to load a bunch of JS files asynchronously. I have the following script below so far. However the callback is sometimes called when the scripts aren't actually loaded which causes a variable not found error. Using Unicode in fancyvrb’s VerbatimOut

Problem VerbatimOut from the “fancyvrb” package doesn’t play nicely with UTF-8 characters. Minimal working example: \documentclass{minimal} \usepackage[utf8]{inputenc} \usepackage[T1]{fontenc} \usepackage{fancyvrb} \begin{document} \begin{VerbatimOut}{\jobname.test} é \end{VerbatimOut} \input{\jobname.test} \end{document} Error message When compiled using pdflatex mini, this gives the error File ended while scanning use of \UTFviii@three@octets. A different error occurs when the sole occurrence of é above is replaced by something else, e.g. é */: Package inputenc Error: Unicode char \u8:### not set up for use with LaTeX. – indicating that in this case, LaTeX succeeds in reading a multi-byte UTF-8 character, but not knowing what to do with it (i.e. it’s the wrong character). In fact, when I open the produced .test file manually, it contains the character é, but in Latin-1 encoding! Proof: when I open the files in a hex editor, I get the following: Original file: C3 A9 (corresponds to LATIN SMALL LETTER E WITH ACUTE in UTF-8) Written file: E9 (corresponds to é in Latin-1) Question How to set VerbatimOut up correctly? filecontents* (from “filecontents”) shows that it can work. Unfortunately, I don’t understand either code so I cannot fix fancyvrb’s code by replicating the logic from filecontents manually. I also cannot use filecontents* instead of VerbatimOut because the former doesn’t work within a \newenvironment, while the latter does. (Oh, by the way: vanilla Verbatim instead of VerbatimOut also works as expected. The error seems to occur when writing the file, not when reading the verbatim input)

I'm working on setting up a Cyrus 2.2 IMAP server on Ubuntu Server 9.04. If I telnet from the server itself: # telnet localhost imap I get: * OK IMAP Cyrus IMAP4 v2.2.13-Debian-2.2.13-14ubuntu3 server ready Which is what I should be seeing. If I try from another machine on the network: telnet 192.168.5.122 imap I get: telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused UPDATE: From /etc/cyrus.conf # add or remove based on preferences imap cmd="imapd -U 30" listen="imap" prefork=0 maxchild=100 imaps cmd="imapd -s -U 30" listen="imaps" prefork=0 maxchild=100 #pop3 cmd="pop3d -U 30" listen="pop3" prefork=0 maxchild=50 #pop3s cmd="pop3d -s -U 30" listen="pop3s" prefork=0 maxchild=50 #nntp cmd="nntpd -U 30" listen="nntp" prefork=0 maxchild=100 #nntps cmd="nntpd -s -U 30" listen="nntps" prefork=0 maxchild=100 To the best of my knowledge, there is no firewall running on the box. I've tried restarting the saslauthd and cyrus2.2 daemons, with no effect. What else can I try?

I ran through the following steps: Download MySQL Community Server 5.5.8 Linux - Generic Compressed TAR Archive Unpack it, for example to: /home/martin/mysql Create a my.cnf file in your home directory. The file contents should be: [server] user=martin basedir=/home/martin/mysql datadir=/home/martin/sql_data socket=/home/martin/socket port=3666 Go to the /home/martin/mysql directory and execute: ./scripts/mysql_install_db --defaults-file=~/my.cnf --user=martin --basedir=/home/martin/mysql --datadir=/home/martin/sql_data --socket=/home/martin/socket Your MySQL server is ready. Start it with this command: ./bin/mysqld_safe --defaults-file=~/my.cnf & When I try to change the password of MySQL it gives the error: Cannot connect to mysql server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' How can I change this path and see whether the mysql.sock is created or not?

Uploadify - Passing Information Back to The Original Form

I have an Send.aspx page that has an uploadify control on it. Upload.ashx handles the file upload. I am adding a file record to a sql database in the Upload.ashx file and I need to get the ID of that record back from Upload.aspx when it is done. Can't get it working with Sessions. =( Something to do with an Adobe bug? What would the best way to handle this be? Map/Reduce on an array of hashes in CouchDB

Hello everyone, I am looking for a map/reduce function to calculate the status in a Design Document. Below you can see an example document from my current database. { "_id": "0238f1414f2f95a47266ca43709a6591", "_rev": "22-24a741981b4de71f33cc70c7e5744442", "status": "retrieved image urls", "term": "Lucas Winter", "urls": [ { "status": "retrieved", "url": "http://...." }, { "status": "retrieved", "url": "http://..." } ], "search_depth": 1, "possible_labels": { "gender": "male" }, "couchrest-type": "SearchTerm" } I'd like to get rid of the status key and rather calculate it from the statuses of the urls. My current by_status view looks like the following: function(doc) { if (doc['status']) { emit(doc['status'], null); } } I tried some things but nothing actually works. Right now my Map Function looks like this: function(doc) { if(doc.urls){ emit(doc._id, doc.urls) } } And my Reduce Function function(key, value, rereduce){ var reduced_status = "retrieved" for(var url in value){ if(url.status=="new"){ reduced_status = "new"; } } return reduced_status; } The result is that I get retrieved everywhere which is definitely not right. I tried to narrow down the problem and it seems to be that value is no array, when I use the following Reduce Function I get length 1 everywhere, which is impossible because I have 12 documents in my database, each containing between 20 to 200 urls function(key, value, rereduce){ return value.length; } What am I doing wrong? (I know I want you to write code for me and I'm feeling guilty, but right now I do the calculation of the statuses in ruby after getting the data from the database. It would be nice to already get the right data from the database)
