  • Getting a redirect in gmail/google apps in Google Documents

    Good afternoon, For some reason when I try to download documents from google docs in both my standard gmail account and my work's google apps, it goes into a redirect. I've tried opening it on my roommate's computer, and it works just fine. I'm guessing that it has something to do with my particular browser. I get the same error in both chrome and ie though.

    I have a highly secured computer windows server 2003 where my outlook express is configured, i want to forward all the mails coming from Outlook to gmail. I put some auto forward rule in outlook but its not working. (May be auto forwarding is disabled). I can forward mails manually. Is there anyway to get rid off this problem?

  • How to show subscribed Gmail calendars in Windows 8 calendar app

    Is it possible to show my subscribed calendars on Gmail in the Windows 8 calendar app like I'm used to do on my Windows Phone? I think - but am not sure about that - that it uses the mobile API. When I try to configure it via http://m.google.com/sync on my Windows Phone I can see the client "WindowsMail" but cannot add or configure shared calendars as for my smartphone. Is there currently a possibility to achieve this or do we need to wait until they get that enabled for us?

  • Android: Map Overlay Labels

    I am building a MapView and I want my custom overlay items to display the name of the location they are marking when the user taps them, like the Android Maps app. I setup the onTap listener and the floating TextView to hold the location name. I still need to set it up so that it redraws the label when the user moves the map, etc. Anyway, I am wondering if I am reinventing the wheel here. Is there a built-in method I am unaware of? I would think that most implementations of MapView have labels. Notice that it's facetted according to Alarm and that the facets are arranged alphabetically. Two Questions: How can I can I keep it facetted by alarm but displayed in the correct order? (Rank asc, Alarm asc). Also, how can I keep it facetted by alarm but show labels from Rank instead of Alarm? Note that I can't just facet on Rank because ggplot2 would see only 3 facets to plot where there are really 4 different alarms. Thanks kindly for the help! Tommy

  • Allowed unicode characters in IDN host labels

    Hi all, Im currently working on a "proper" URI validator and currently it all comes down to hostname validation, the rest isnt that tricky. Im stuck at IDN hostname labels (e.g. containing unicode; possible punycode encoded strings have been decoded at this point). My first idea was basicly a regex for TLD's not supporting IDN and one for those who do (http://www.mozilla.org/projects/security/tld-idn-policy-list.html (?)). Respectively; ^[a-zA-Z0-9-]+$ and ^[a-zA-Z0-9-\p{L}]+$ However this is not an ideal situation, since every IDN registrar can decide which characters to allow and which not. What im looking for is a proper, consistent, up2date data table of unicode characters allowed in various TLD's; im getting this idea i have to find all the data myself at russian and chinese registry sites (which is quite difficult). So before spitting down the web.. i wondered is there such a list? Or are there better approaches, best/common practices etc? (I want the validation to be as strict as possible.)   • BackgroundColor of UITableViewCellStyleSubtitle labels ??!?

    I am trying to create a table with an image as a background. To achieve this, I started out with the background: self.view.backgroundColor = [UIColor groupTableViewBackgroundColor]; This resulted in a background image which appears in tablecells as well. That is not something I want, so I tried to set the cell's backgroundColor: cell.backgroundColor = [UIColor whiteColor]; This had no effect at all !!!. Hmmm strange. So I tried this: UIView *backgroundView = [[UIView alloc] init]; backgroundView.backgroundColor = [UIColor whiteColor]; cell.backgroundView = backgroundView; [backgroundView release]; This works almost. The only problem left is that the textLabel & the detailTextLabel still show the background behind them. Setting the backgroundColor on those labels to white doesn't do anything either. How do I proceed? Where do I go wrong? I am trying to achieve a tableView like the worldClock app has.

  • Inline text box labels with WPF

    I'm trying to reproduce the layout of some paper forms in a WPF application. Labels for text boxes are to be "inline" with the content of the text boxes, rather than "outside" like normal Windows forms. So, with an Xxxxxx label: +-----------------------------+ | Xxxxxx: some text written | | in the multiline input. | | | | another paragraph continues | | without indentation. | | | | | +-----------------------------+ The Xxxxxx cannot be editable, if the user selects all the content of the text box, the label must remain unselected, I need to be able to style the text colour/formatting of the label separately, when there is no text in the text box, but it has focus, the caret should flash just after the label, and I need the baselines of the text in the text box and the label to line up. One solution I tried was putting a textblock partially over the input, then using text indent to indent the editable text, though this caused problems with following paragraphs, since they were indented too. I'm not sure how to indent just the first paragraph. It required some fiddling to get the text to line up - a more reliable setup would be ideal. So, any suggestions on how to set this up? Thanks

  • How do I route my SMTP outgoing mail through gmail (Google Mail) ?

    Here is the quick answer:  Go into your client e software (e.g. Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.) for the account you are working on (usually default). Set the SMTP server to smtp.gmail.com Set the username as your gmail account user name (e.g. [email protected]). Gmail will need the username and password you use for that account, so if your default is set to some other email, be sure to set the username and password to that value, or click on the checkbox for username/password.     I've seen others discussing printing labels with a dedicated label printer using Java. Is there any way to print labels using a regular printer with label paper using (optimally) Android libraries/API? If not, is there any way to do this in a non-mobile context using Java? Searching for "Java Label Printing" is only turning up the aforementioned dedicated label printing bits, which aren't quite what I'm looking for.

So, in -viewWillDisappear I have: UILabel *label; label = (UILabel *)[self.navigationController.navigationBar viewWithTag:SONG_TAG]; [label removeFromSuperview]; label = (UILabel *)[self.navigationController.navigationBar viewWithTag:ALBUM_TAG]; [label removeFromSuperview]; label = (UILabel *)[self.navigationController.navigationBar viewWithTag:ARTIST_TAG]; [label removeFromSuperview]; I think the way to do this is make a custom view that has the 3 labels in it, and add this to the title view. (here's the catch - you can only add 1 label or view to the title view spot on the nav bar) self.navigationItem.titleView = newViewIMadeWithThreeLabels

  • Detecting if a browser's cache is full

    We've identified that full browser caches are the cause of a problem on our extranet. It only affects a small number of our users, but we'd like to alert them to the problem and give them some guidance on how to fix the problem for themselves. We'd like to use a similar system to the one which GMail uses. When it detects that your browser's cache is full, it shows a warning message telling users that their cache is full and that it may cause problems with GMail, along with a link to a Gmail Help page on clearing your browser's cache. Does anyone know if there any resources out there, or examples of how to use JavaScript to detect that the browser's cache is full? Thanks.

  • Core Plot: x-axis labels not plotted when using scaleToFitPlots

    Problem: I can't get Core Plot (1.1) to plot automatic labels for my x-axis when using autoscaling ([plotSpace scaleToFitPlots:[graph allPlots]). What I have tried: I changed the values for the offsets and paddings, but this did not change the result. However, when turning autoscale off (not using [plotSpace scaleToFitPlots:[graph allPlots]]and setting the y scale automatically, the automatic labeling of the x-axis works. Question: Is there a bug in Core Plot or what did I do wrong? I would appreciate any help! Thank you!     Hi All, I was wondering if anyone had any good tutorials around creating a gmail inbox star (favorite) ? EDIT: I guess I want to create something just like the stackoverflow star or gmail inbox star. I have a set of list items that i've added several controls to. One being a checkbox (for archiving, or batch deleting) and another I have a placeholder checkbox for favoriting. I'm just curious as to what the best approach is for making it snazzy with jquery.
