• Page content bleeding past footer, dynamic resize?

  Hey all im learning as i go with editing CSS and PHP and ive manage to put together a layout, looks fine on the main page, but I noticed the content is not stretching properly height wise when i goto click on the 3D gallery. Here is the a link to the page that has the issue: http://www.idreamfx.com/wp/?page_id=36&album=1&gallery=2 as you can see its bleeding past the footer, and the content section is not resizing properly. What steps do i take to allow it to be dynamically resized with the content in it? Doing some searching i came across the code: but i'm not sure if how or rather, where to apply such a code or what it really does?

  I am trying to open an Excel (xlsm) file via VBA. It may or may not be protected with a (known) password. I am using this code: On Error Resume Next Workbooks.Open filename, Password:=user_entered_pw opened = (Err.Number=0) On Error Goto 0 Now, this works fine if the workbook has a password. But if it is unprotected, it can NOT be opened. Apparently this is a bug in XL2007 if there is also workbook structure protection active. (http://vbaadventures.blogspot.com/2009/01/possible-error-in-excel-2007.html). On old XL2003, supplying a password would open both unprotected and password protected file. I tried: Workbooks.Open filename, Password:=user_entered_pw If (Err.Number <> 0) Then workbooks.open filename This works for unprotected and protected file. However if the user enters a wrong password it runs into the second line and pops up the "enter password" prompt, which I do not want. How to get around this?

  Hi guys, I need to make an authentication script in php. I have already made a login.php page, where the user can enter his unsername/password and it gets checked against a database. If the unsername/password are correct, the user should be forwarded to members.php page together with a $_SERVER['username'] variable. What is the command in PHP to go to another webpage, in this case members.php ? in pseudocode I see it like this: if ( unsername/password are OK ) { $_SERVER['username'] = $username; goto(members.php); } Thanks!

• Gracefully trap error on dos start cmd

  On a cmd prompt or bat file, I issue the following: start textpad myfile.txt and it works fine. If the program textpad does not exist on the computer, then an error sound and a popup occurs which the OK button must be pushed. I desire to trap this error so that I could do something like start textpad myfile.txt || start notepad myfile.txt where the || implies that if the start of textpad is not successful, then the start of notepad should occur. HOWEVER, I still get the error sound and requirement of hitting OK. My intent is to avoid the sound and the requirement of any user intervention. I have also tried the following bat approach below, to no avail. start textpad if not %ERRORLEVEL% == 0 GOTO END start notepad :END Any help would be great. thanks ted

  Is there a resource for finding the "best" jquery plugins, or at least just the most used ones? For example, I wanted to find a menu jquery plugin but when I goto the jquery website there are so many to look through and I don't see a way to see how popular each one is. For ruby there's the http://ruby-toolbox.com/ which lists many plugins, how popular they are, info about them, etc. Is there something similar or at least some way to filter through all the jquery plugins? EDIT 1: To shed some more light on this - the "most popular" link on the jquery page is useless. I can't find a way to search through it but even worse, the ratings don't seem to mean much. Ex - the first item, in other words the most popular plugin in that list has 5 stars and TWO votes. Doesn't seem like a very reliable resource to me.

  Hello , Can a crystal report be scaled to fit page? I'm hoping to achieve something similar to Microsoft Excel's Scale To Fit feature wherein a large spreadsheet can be scaled to fit a 8.5"x 11" page. (On MS Excel 2007 goto Page Layout Scale To Fit). Im searching of a way to make a large report fit into a smaller page during print. for example a report designed in Legal(8.5"x 14") page must be able to shrink when print previewed for Letter(8.5"x 11") page. In my crystal report, it should be scaled to fit the page by default. I was thinking maybe theres a Crystal Report Setting or C# code technique that I missed out. Any hint or link to the right direction is appreciated. Thanks!

• What is wrong with my Basic Authentication in FireFox?

  Hi folks, i'm trying to goto the following url :- http://user1:pass1@localhost:1234/api/users?format=xml nothing to complex. Notice how i've got the username/password in the url? this, i believe, is for basic authentication. When i do that, the Request Headers are MISSING the 'Authorize' header. Er... that's not right :( I have anonymous authentication only setup on the site. I don't want to have anon off and basic turned on .. because not all of the site requires basic.. only a few action methods. So .. why is this not working? Is this something to do with the fact my code is not sending a 401 challenge or some crap? For What It's Worth, my site is ASP.NET MVC1 running on IIS7 (and the same thing happens when i run it on cassini).

• Cannot customize Solution Explorer project context menu in VS 2010

  I'm trying to customize that context menu which comes up when you right click the project in the Solution Explorer. When I goto: Tools - Customize - Commands - Context Menu (radio button) - Project and Solution Context Menus | Project (drop down) I get nothing in the "controls:" list. I can modify other context menus starting with "Project and Solution Context Menus" but none of them is the right one. Any ideas? Currently I have ReSharper, PowerTools and StyleCop installed, but I have installed and uninstalled bunch of other addins (dotTrace, CodeIt.Right, VisualHG, DevExpress, random stuff from Extension Manager).

  Using WATIR and Excel, I'd like to take the first row of a table in Excel, visit the URL, then set the 12th link on the page as a variable in the cell next to the cell with the URL, then go to the next line and repeat. I'm stuck on getting the URL of the 12th link on the page to set as a variable that I can feed into the next cell in Excel. I read about C# and the ability to compile -and execute- code in runtime, but that is too hurting..   Intro There's a lot of advice out there for dealing with return codes in batch files (using the ERROLEVEL mechanism), e.g. Get error code from within a batch file ERRORLEVEL inside IF Some of the advice is to do if errorlevel 1 goto somethingbad, while others recommend using the %ERRORLEVEL% variable and using ==, EQU, LSS, etc. There seem to be issues within IF statements and such, so then delayedexpansion is encouraged, but it seems to come with quirks of its own. • F12 no longer works in Visual Studio

  this is driving me crazy, ever since I installed ReSharper 4, F12 no longer seems to work. If you look at the all the ReSharper short cuts in the Goto sub menu Declaration doesn't have any assigned! The only way I can go to declaration is by using ALT and ` and then selecting Declaration. I have tried un-installing and re-installing ReSharper with no luck, I have also, in ReSharper option asked it to use the default Visual Studio Key Bindings but that doesn't to work either. Interestingly, when I do use ALT and ` I actually get two entries for the Declaration option. Has anyone come across this problem I am using Visual Studio 2005 SP1

• Using True and False to select items to print

  I have a workbook that contains rows of information that needs to printed to a seperate worksheet in excel. I am trying to utilize a checkbox to indicate which items need to print and which items need to be skipped. The checkbox is located in column "A" and once checked and the macro ran, I want it to pick up the data in each cell of that particular row, transfer it a seperate worksheet (form), prompt and save the worksheet to pdf, clear the form, and then return to the main worksheet to continue until all rows have been checked. However, right now, my code is only looping through the very first "TRUE" statement and not continuing to the rest. The slightly longer version: I've inherited a Visual Studio project that creates a dll and then copies that dll to another location. As a post build step, VS runs the following script. if not '$(ConfigurationName)' == 'DebugNoSvc' goto end xcopy /Y $(TargetDir)*.config $(ProjectDir)..\myService\bin\Debug xcopy /Y $(TargetDir)*.config $(ProjectDir)..\myService\bin\DebugNoSvc :end It looks like there's a problem when the project is compiled as Debug, since it doesn't do the copy (I'm guessing that at some point the middle section got updated, but the if clause didn't.) Is there an easy way to an "and" clause in batch?

  I need to automate the process of downloading and installing an exe file abc.exe from say 'http://10.34.45.21:8080/cruisecontrol/artifacts/xxx_trunk_nightly_build/xxx/test/' I mean now i have to manually goto ''http://10.34.45.21:8080/cruisecontrol' then click on each folder before i finally click on the abc.exe file. Then it downloads the exe on my machine. Then i have to double click on the exe to install it. I want to automate this whole process such that when i run the script it will automatically download the exe file and install it. Is it possible to do this using php? I am very much a beginner. Any help will be of use.

Right now I create a mysql connection at the beginning and use the same connection through out the code. Most of the time is spent making the API calls. Will it be more efficient to create a new database connection only when it's time to store the data (below)? • How can I get the "Latency" of a process that has a TCP connection open?

  Hello, I am looking to get the "Latency" field of a TCP connection. I notice windows Resource Monitor has this field, and I was wondering if there was a way I can find it. Preferrably without using WMI. If you are unsure what field I am talking about, open Task Manager, goto the Performance tab and hit the Resource Monitor button. Once Resource Monitor is open, expand the TCP Connections area and you will see a Latency field. Is there anyway to access this programatically? Thanks!

  I had just taken the decision to change as many variables from unsigned to int and upon recompiling the code in question, was greeted by this warning message: freespace_state.c:203: warning: assuming that the loop is not infinite The line in question: for (x = startx; x <= endx; ++x, ++xptr) This loop is 60 lines of code (inc white space/brackets etc), and has a goto within it, and at least one occurrence of continue. In this case, I think I am appreciative that GCC is assuming this loop is not infinite, because, it should never loop indefinitely. What is GCC trying to tell me here?
