• Turn off enclosing <p> tags in CKEditor 3.0

  Is there a possibility to turn off the automatic enclosing of all written content within <p></p> in CKEditor 3.x? I tried CKEDITOR.config.enterMode = CKEDITOR.ENTER_BR; but this just changes the inline linebreaks to <br /> while leaving the enclosing paragraph. Currently writing "Test" produces this output <p> Test</p> but I want it to be simply Test Is there a configuration property for this or would another inline editor to be better suited for this?

• My OpenGL game switches Aero DWM Glass off.

  Hi ! I wrote a free game a few years ago: http://www.walkover.org. For the lobby and menus, it uses normal dialogs like win32. When the actual game starts it uses OpenGL. Now, on Windows 7, when the actual game starts, it switches windows aero glass off and switches it back on when the game is over. Is there something I can do to prevent this from happening? Some special flags that keep the glass on if it is on? (For newer, I have been using DirectX and this doesn#t happen there.) Maybe some (new) flag I have to specify somewhere? Thx Marc

• How to avoid code duplication for one-off methods with a slightly different signature

  I am wrapping a number of functions from a vender API in C#. Each of the wrapping functions will fit the pattern: public IEnumerator<IValues> GetAggregateValues(string pointID, DateTime startDate, DateTime endDate, TimeSpan period) { // Validate Data // Break up Requesting Time-Span // Make Requests // Read Results (through another method call } 5 of the 6 requests are aggregate data pulls and have the same signature, so it makes sense to put them in one method and pass the aggregate type to avoid duplication of code. The 6th method however follows the exact same pattern with the same result-set, but is not an aggregate, so no time period is passed to the function (changing the signature). Is there an elegant way to handle this kind of situation without coding a one-off function to handle the non-aggregate request?

• Actionscrips/Flex4: Display cut-off datapoints differently in LineChart

  Dear Sirs, The issue arises when the user selects a range on the linechart that cuts off datapoints. When this happens, I would like the chart to tell the user somehow that there are data points three, just outside the range, perhaps by drawing a straight line across the top or bottom of the graph. • Advanced Rails Routing of short URL's and usernames off of root url

  I want to have username URL's and Base 58 short URL's to resources both off of the root url like this: http://mydomain.com/username #=> goes to given user http://mydomain.com/a3x9 #=> goes to given story I am aware of the possibilities of a user names conflicting with short urls, and I have a workaround, but what I can't figure out is the best way to set this up in rails. Can I do it in rails routes? Should I do something with a piece of Rack middleware? Should I set up a routing controller? Please let me know the best way to do this. Thanks so much!

• Make a div fall off the page

  Hey, So I have been playing with jQuery for a good time now and I'm trying to get an effect to work properly. I have a main square div in the middle of the page and when someone clicks a link I want the box to look like its falling off the page and disappear, revealing a new page behind it. I'v been playing with the easing plugin but I can seem to get what I want to work. Basically I have the div's top margin or just top distance increased to a large number. However, this just makes the div fall but it also expands my page and its just much lower on the page. I basically want the div to fall out of site and not change the dimensions of the site. • One off errors with NSLog and NSString stringWithFormat

  Does anyone know why there would be one-off errors with NSLog and NSString? It works fine in 99% of my program, but for some reason this error appears in one of my model's description method: Example code: localFileId = 7; type = 2; localId = 5; NSLog(@"CachedFile localId=%d, 2=%d, localFileId=%d, type=%d, path=%@", localId, 2, localFileId, type, self.path); Example Result: CachedFile localId=5, 2=0, localFileId=2, type=7, path=(null) Notice the "0" that gets inserted in there, where it should be "2=2". This happens with NSString stringWithFormat as well.

• UI not redrawing after display powered off on Win 7

  Some portions of my application's interface are not getting refreshed after Windows 7 powers down the display. More specifically, I'm swapping out images, User Controls, and a button's content while the display is powered off and after it has been restarted, and this isn't being reflected in the UI until I minimize and restore the window or move it to one of the screen's edges. I've tried calling the Window's InvalidateVisual() method when the app was in a state where it needed to redraw, and that didn't solve the problem. I have only been able to reproduce this issue on Windows 7. Any ideas?

• Cannot set g:checkbox to off for a child on one-to-many relationship

  Got a weird issue with g:checkbox not being saved when its switched from on to off for a child in one-to-many relationship. For example: class Parent { Boolean enabled static hasMany = [children: Child] static constraints = { enabled(blank: true, nullable: true) } } class Child { Boolean enabled static belongsTo = [parent: Parent] static constraints = { enabled(blank: true, nullable: true) } } Posting to Parent controller true/false values will work for Parent: <g:checkBox name="enabled" value="${parentInstance?.enabled}"/> However, not for Child! When posting to Parent controller I can only go from false to true, trying to change from true to false again will not work: <g:each in="${parentInstance.children}" status="i" var="child"> <g:checkBox name="child[${i}].enabled" value="${child?.enabled}" /> </g:each> That seems to be a bug. • Bottom of page gets cut off in Safari

  I can't figure out why this page: http://wohf.squarespace.com/newsletter/ gets cut off at the bottom in safari, seems to work fine in all other browsers (as far as I found so far)!! I am using some jquery and css for the sidebar and the content to match heights and for the canvas to run top to bottom with the footer always at the very bottom of the page. everything is working (as far as I can tell so far) on the rest of the site, the problem is only on this newsletter page and only in safari. Can anyone see the problem?

  I have a MVC web application with a table in the model that I would like to add to. I have the primary key set along with the other data fields, but every time I try to add to the table, I get the following error: "Cannot insert explicit value for identity column in table 'TABLE_NAME' when IDENTITY_INSERT is set to OFF." I'm not sure why this problem is coming up, I have the primary key set as the identity and it is also set to auto increment in the Visual Studio table designer. Is there any way I can adjust the IDENTITY_INSERT parameter in the table designer in Visual Studio?? Or is there some other issue that might be causing this.

• Babel Django Off By 1 Cent

  I ran into a problem today while using BabelDjango and thought I would ask if anyone has ran into anything similar. I was using the tags in my templates, {% load babel %} and then {{amount_owed|currencyfmt:"USD"}} which returned the amount_owed minus one-cent. I thought maybe the returned value was 9.949999 which should still be $9.95 but when I returned the raw value it returned "9.95". However when I formatted it using the babel tags the rsult was off by one-cent. My 9.95 returned "$9.94" Anyone have any advice where to look to troubleshoot this problem? • GMap in iframe gets off-center

  I have a Google Map (API 2) that used to work fine as a standalone page. However, when I load the map page within an iframe (with Thickbox), the map gets off-center: normally it's centered over Germany and in the iframe it centers on Iran, instead. How to make the map center correctly? My guesses: The problem can result from the iframe loading time. I guess, that the script calculates window size basing on the iframe size when it's still loading. • How to deal with Rounding-off TimeSpan?

  I take the difference between two DateTime fields, and store it in a TimeSpan variable, Now I have to round-off the TimeSpan by the following rules: if the minutes in TimeSpan is less than 30 then Minutes and Seconds must be set to zero, if the minutes in TimeSpan is equal to or greater than 30 then hours must be incremented by 1 and Minutes and Seconds must be set to zero. TimeSpan can also be a negative value, so in that case I need to preserve the sign.. I could be able to achieve the requirement if the TimeSpan wasn't a negative value, though I have written a code I am not happy with its inefficiency as it is more bulky .. It all works well... the only problem: the output from Log.i is cut-off... It's not the complete html page. If I make the same request in a browser, I get 3x the output in opposition to making the request in the emulator and using the above code.... what's wrong?

• Creating C# form fields with events based off of a text file

  I need to generate windows form fields based off of a text file that I am parsing. I also want to automatically generate validation event handlers which all will be basically the same only the form field and the regular expression which is used to validate the field will change. I'm having a difficult time figuring out the quickest and easiest method to go about doing this. Any pointers in the right direction would really be great, maybe even some keywords that I'm missing.   I have 3 mysql tables. companies with company_id and company_name products with product_id and company_id names with product_id, product_name and other info about the product I'm trying to output the product_name and the company_name in one query for a given product_id. Basically I need information from the names and companies tables and the link between them is the products table. How do I do a join that needs to "bounce" off a third table? • Custom inputAccessoryView push my UITableView first row partially off the screen

  Hi For my scenario, I have a UITableView with a UITextField for the first row. While I try to set custom toolbar for keyboard with UITextField.inputAccessoryView, it pushed my first row of textfield partially off the screen. This is not happening if I avoid adding the toolbar. Refer screen shot below: I tried with NSNotification with keyboardWillShow by reposition to first row of the tableview, but it just look awkward for the table pulling out and in. It might be something to do overriding UITableView/UIScrollView, but I am out of idea how to do this. Would like to know how you guys resolve this. Thanks you!

  Hello i have a problem with BE in my system. I'm permanently and automaticly logged out it after some time. 10-15 seconds, sometimes faster, sometimes slower. It's not connected with beeing idle cause I can be logged off even when I'm checking page tree or saving records I've set lock ip on 1 but it didn't help. The problem is most common under Firefox or Chome, what is strange under internet explorer i don't see it as often Other strange thing is that I see it on my live version but when I'm working on my local copy it doen not occure TYPO3 version 4.6.4

• jquery - turning "autocomplete" to off for all forms (even ones not loaded yet)

The problem is, some forms of mine are in pop ups loaded throught ajax. This won't apply to them since they're "loaded" later. I know there's a live() function - but that's only for attaching events. • IE7 cutting off image

  Hi all I have 3 divs with rollover images inside them stacked vertically inside my main content div. IE7 is chopping off about three quarters of the bottom div and I can't figure out why.
