  • Criteria to Evaluate Business Rules Engines

    - by flybywire
We are shopping for Business Rules Engines. We want to make our core application customizable to different customers with slightly different requirements. The people who would actually do the customizations are analysts. I.e. non-programmers who are technically skilled (usually have a degree in sciences). What are the criteria to evaluate business rules engines? Are there open source and comercial ones? What are your experiences in ease of use, documentation, support, price, etc. Our app is in Java.

  • Space-based architecture?

    - by rcampbell
One chapter in Pragmatic Programmer recommends looking at a blackboard/space-based architecture + a rules engine as a more flexible alternative to a traditional workflow system. The project I'm working on currently uses a workflow engine, but I'd like to evaluate alternatives. I really feel like a SBA would be a better solution to our business problems, but I'm worried about a total lack of community support/user base/venders/options. JavaSpaces is dead, and the JINI spin-off Apache River seems to be on life support. SemiSpace looks perfect, but it's a one-man show. The only viable solution seems to be GigaSpaces. I'd like to hear your thoughts on space based architecture and any experiences you've had with real world implementations.

  • Aspect Oriented Programming vs List<IAction> To execute methods based on conditions

    - by David Robbins
I'm new to AOP so bear with me. Consider the following scenario: A state machine is used in a workflow engine, and after the state of the application is changed, a series of commands are executed. Depending on the state, different types of commands should be executed. As I see it, one implementation is to create List<IAction> and have each individual action determine whether it should execute. Would a Aspect Oriented process work as well? That is, could you create an aspect that notifies a class when a property changes, and execute the appropriate processes from that class? Would this help centralize the state specific rules?

  • IIS7.5 Outbound Rule for lower case URLs in <a href="...">

    - by Quog
Hi, I know how to canonicalise the case of URLs on incoming request to IIS7.5, in fact, there's a built in rule template to start from. But how about outbound (without changing the code)? This is where I got to so far: <outboundRules> <rule name="Outbound lowercase" preCondition="IsHTML" enabled="true"> <match filterByTags="A" pattern="[A-Z]" ignoreCase="false" /> <action type="Rewrite" value="{ToLower:{R:0}}" /> </rule> <preConditions> <preCondition name="IsHTML"> <add input="{RESPONSE_CONTENT_TYPE}" pattern="^text/html" /> </preCondition> </preConditions> </outboundRules> However, IIS barfs on the action with a 500 implying an invalid web.config, probably on the {ToLower:XXXX} which I stole from the MS-supplied inbound rule template. Anyone know how to do this? Anyone know where the options are fully documented (my GoogleNinja skills failed me: I found this but "Specifies value syntax for the rule. This element is available only for the Rewrite action type" is not really comprehensive). Thanks, Damian

  • Three formats? Why?

    - by Yar
I needed to download the Ruby Source recently from here and it says, "available in three formats" which are .tar.bz2, .tar.gz and .zip. Is there any reason that we need all three formats? At least on Linux and OSX I can do any of the three easily. On Windows, only zip is built-in, I think. Is there anything behind these preferences or is this just a religious battle?

  • What is the character used to indent the Make file rule recipe?

    - by goldenmean
Hi, I am using gnu make and in a Makefile I have, I see below rule. I want to add a similar rule with a recipe, but when I add a rule and its receipe on the next line by giving a tab or space for the recipe, I get make error. dummy : @echo $(OBJS) When i turned on the vim command :set list , i see: dummy :$ ^I@echo $(OBJS)$ What exactly are the characters before the recipe line(second line) which indent it from the start of line? How do I enter them using keyboard (without having to copy paste the exisitng rule and then modifying it? Where would I find information for various spaces/indents to be used in creating a Makefile from beginning, by hand(Not a automake/or other tool created makefile)? thanks, -AD.

  • The Three-Legged Milk Stool - Why Oracle Fusion Incentive Compensation makes the difference!

    - by Richard Lefebvre
During the London Olympics, we were exposed to dozens of athletes who worked with sports psychologists to maximize their performance. Executives often hire business psychologists to coach their teams to excellence. In the same vein, Fusion Incentive Compensation can be used to get people to change their sales behavior so we can make our numbers. But what about using incentive compensation solutions in a non-sales scenario to drive change? Recently, I was working an opportunity where a company was having a low user adoption rate for Salesforce.com, which was causing problems for them. I suggested they use Fusion Incentive Comp to change the reps' behavior. We tossed around the idea of tracking user adoption by creating a variable bonus for reps based on how well they forecasted revenues in the new system. Another thought was to reward the reps for how often they logged into the system or for the percentage of leads that became opportunities and turned into revenue. A new twist on a great product. Fusion CRM's Sweet Spot I'm excited about the sales performance management (SPM) tools in Fusion CRM. This trio of Incentive Compensation, Territory Management, and Quota Management sets us apart from the competition because Oracle is the only vendor that provides all three of these capabilities on a single tech stack, in a single application, and with a single look and feel. The niche vendors offer standalone territory or incentive compensation solutions, but then the customer has to custom build the other tools and can end up with a Frankenstein-type environment. On average, companies overpay sales commissions by three to eight percent. You calculate that number for a company the size of Oracle for one quarter and it makes a pretty air-tight financial case for using SPM tools to figure accurate commissions. Plus when sales reps get the right compensation, they can be out selling rather than spending precious time figuring out what they didn't get paid or looking for another job. And one more thing ... Oracle knows incentive comp. We have been a Gartner Market Scope leader in this space for the last five years. Our solution gets high marks because of its scalability and because of its interoperability with other technologies. And now that we're leading with Fusion, our incentive compensation offering includes the innovations that the Fusion team built, plus enhancements from the E-Business Suite Incentive Comp team. It's a case of making a good thing even better. (See product video.) The "Wedge" Apps In a number of accounts that I'm working on, there is a non-Oracle CRM system of record. That gives me the perfect opportunity to introduce the benefits of our SPM tools and to get the customer using Fusion. Then the door is wide open for the company to uptake more of Fusion CRM, especially since all the integrations they need are out of the box. I really believe that implementing this wedge of SPM tools is the ticket to taking market share away from other vendors. It allows us to insert ourselves in an environment where no other CRM solution in the market has the extending capabilities of Fusion. Not Just Your Usual Suspects Usually the stakeholders that I talk to for Territory Management are tightly aligned with the sales management team. When I sell the quota planning tool, I'm talking to finance people on the ERP side of the house who are measuring quotas and forecasting revenue. And then Incentive Comp is of most interest to the sales operations people, and generally these people roll up to either HR or the payroll department. I think of our Fusion SPM tools as a three-legged stool straddling an organization's Sales, Finance, and HR departments. So when you're prospecting for opportunities -- yes, people with a CRM perspective will be very interested -- but don't limit yourselves to that constituency. You might find stakeholders in accounting, revenue planning, or HR compensation teams. You just might discover, as I did at United Airlines, that the HR organization is spearheading the CRM project because incentive compensation is what they need ... and they're the ones with the budget. • Why UFW has to be (re)started at boot time if it's only iptables rule manager?

    - by Tomasz Zielinski
README from source package says: When installing ufw from source, you will also need to integrate it into your boot process for the firewall to start when you restart your system. Depending on your needs, this can be as simple as adding the following to a startup script (eg rc.local for systems that use it): # /lib/ufw/ufw-init start For systems that use SysV initscripts, an example script is provided in doc/initscript.example. See doc/upstart.example for an Upstart example. Consult your distribution's documentation for the proper way to modify your boot process. On my system I have this: # /etc/ufw/ufw.conf # # Set to yes to start on boot. If setting this remotely, be sure to add a rule # to allow your remote connection before starting ufw. Eg: 'ufw allow 22/tcp' ENABLED=yes So, why does simple iptables rule manager need to be started at boot time? Is there any secret to that, or it merely checks if all rules are in place ?

  • Long 'Wait' Time for three php/CSS files. Is something blocking them?

    - by William Pitcher
I have been speed optimizing a Wordpress site to little effect. There are three files CSS-related php files from the Wordpress theme that are delaying page loads on the site. One of the three files is basically one line of custom CSS from the custom CSS feature in the theme. You can see what I am talking about with this Pingdom speed test: The yellow is 'Wait'. There are no slow items in the cut-off portion of the image. The full results are here: Pingdom Results Page 1. Any thoughts on what might be causing this? I understand that I have blocking CSS or JS files, but I don't see anything that would be causing that long of a wait. When I ran the P3 Plugin Profiler, Wordpress and all plugins appeared fine -- it is the theme that is taking all the time. GTmetrix recommends avoiding dynamic queries. I assume all the ver=3.61 references are to the version of Wordpress (which I am using). I noticed that my Wordpress sites using other themes don't make this query (at least not over and over). 2. Is this typical coding practice? 3. How much negative impact do these query-strings have -- a little or a lot? I tried searching for similar questions here, please excuse me if I missed something. Sometimes, I know just enough to be dangerous.

I need create a programatic equivalent using delphi language... or could someone post a link on how to do grammars in peech recogniton using the delphi. sorry for my english... XML Grammar Sample(s): <GRAMMAR> <!-- Create a simple "hello world" rule --> <RULE NAME="HelloWorld" TOPLEVEL="ACTIVE"> <P>hello world</P> </RULE> <!-- Create a more advanced "hello world" rule that changes the display form. When the user says "hello world" the display text will be "Hiya there!" --> <RULE NAME="HelloWorld_Disp" TOPLEVEL="ACTIVE"> <P DISP="Hiya there!">hello world</P> </RULE> <!-- Create a rule that changes the pronunciation and the display form of the phrase. When the user says "eh" the display text will be "I don't understand?". Note the user didn't say "huh". • Parse and Break: why break cannot be used for getting out of "any" or "some" rule ?

    - by Rebol Tutorial
Let say I have to parse a hierarchical set of tags <tag> <subtag1 attr1=value1 attr2=value2> <subtag1 attr1=value1 attr2=value2> <subtag1 attr1=value1 attr2=value2> </tag> Why can't I use break inside some or any to get out of a level hierarchy ? This would allow to do that kind of parsing instead of having a headache to do so ? I'm asking this because I read here http://www.codeconscious.com/rebol/parse-tutorial.html it would create an infinite loop This case produces an infinite loop. Because the BREAK is within a sub-rule of the rule that SOME is processing. The BREAK does not affect success/failure status or the input pointer - it just exits a rule early: rule-to-break: [(print "Break") break] == [(print "Break") break] parse "X" [some [rule-to-break] "X"] Break *Break* ... Break *Break*(escape)

  • Production Access Denied! Who caused this rule anyways?

    - by Matt Watson
One of the biggest challenges for most developers is getting access to production servers. In smaller dev teams of less than about 5 people everyone usually has access. Then you hire developer #6, he messes something up in production... and now nobody has access. That is how it always starts in small dev teams. I think just about every rule of life there is gets created this way. One person messes it up for the rest of us. Rules are then put in place to try and prevent it from happening again.Breaking the rules is in our nature. In this example it is for good cause and a necessity to support our applications and troubleshoot problems as they arise. So how do developers typically break the rules? Some create their own method to collect log files off servers so they can see them. Expensive log management programs can collect log files, but log files alone are not enough. Centralizing where important errors are logged to is common. Some lucky developers are given production server access by the IT operations team out of necessity. Wait. That's not fair to all developers and knowingly breaks the company rule!  When customers complain or the system is down, the rules go out the window. Commonly lead developers get production access because they are ultimately responsible for supporting the application and may be the only person who knows how to fix it. The problem with only giving lead developers production access is it doesn't scale from a support standpoint. Those key employees become the go to people to help solve application problems, but they also become a bottleneck. They end up spending up to half of their time every day helping resolve application defects, performance problems, or whatever the fire of the day is. This actually the last thing you want your lead developers doing. They should be working on something more strategic like major enhancements to the product. Having production access can actually be a curse if you are the guy stuck hunting down log files all day. Application defects are good tasks for junior developers. They can usually handle figuring out simple application problems. But nothing is worse than being a junior developer who can't figure out those problems and the back log of them grows and grows. Some of them require production server access to verify a deployment was done correctly, verify config settings, view log files, or maybe just restart an application. Since the junior developers don't have access, they end up bugging the developers who do have access or they track down a system admin to help. It can take hours or days to see server information that would take seconds or minutes if they had access of their own. It is very frustrating to the developer trying to solve the problem, the system admin being forced to help, and most importantly your customers who are not happy about the situation. This process is terribly inefficient. Production database access is also important for solving application problems, but presents a lot of risk if developers are given access. They could see data they shouldn't.  They could write queries on accident to update data, delete data, or merely select every record from every table and bring your database to its knees. Since most of the application we create are data driven, it can be very difficult to track down application bugs without access to the production databases.Besides it being against the rule, why don't all developers have access? Most of the time it comes down to security, change of control, lack of training, and other valid reasons. Developers have been known to tinker with different settings to try and solve a problem and in the process forget what they changed and made the problem worse. So it is a double edge sword. Don't give them access and fixing bugs is more difficult, or give them access and risk having more bugs or major outages being created!Matt WatsonFounder, CEOStackifyAgile Support for Agile Developers

  • Does an LTS desktop get any updates after three years?

    - by Oli
In cleaning up an answer today, I noted the following: LTS desktops get updates for three years LTS servers get updates for five years An Ubuntu desktop is (essentially) a superset of server packages. So in the fourth and fifth year, if LTS Server gets Kernel updates*, are these also provided for LTS Desktop? What about other core-system stuff? I realise the Kernel is a little special because there is a -server variant but are updates pushed for -generic (et al) too?

  • Rule of thumb for cost vs. savings for code re-use

    - by Styler
Is it a good rule of thumb to always write code for the intent of re-using it somewhere down the road? Or, depending on the size of the component you are writing, is it better practice to design it for re-use when it makes sense with regards to time spent on it. What is a good rule of thumb for spending extra time on analysis and design on project components that have "some probability" of being needed later down the road for other things that may or may need this part. For example, if I have the need for project X to do things A, and B. A definitely needs to be written for re-use because it just makes sense to do so. B is very project specific at the moment, and I can hack it all together in a couple days to finish the project on time and give everyone kudos for being a great team, etc. Or if we say, lets spend a whole friggin' 2 weeks figuring out what project Y/Z might need this thing for and spend a load of extra time on on part B because someday we might need to use it on project Y/Z (where the savings will be realized). I'd imagine a perfect world situation would be a nicely crafted combination of project specific vs. re-use architected components given the project. However some code shops might feel it would be a great idea to write everything for the intention of using it at some point down the road.

  • Three apps going through apache. How to configure apache httpd? [migrated]

  • I know of three ways in which SRP helps reduce coupling. Are there even more? [closed]

    - by user1483278
I'd like to figure all the possible ways SRP helps us reduce coupling. Thus far I can think of three: 1) If class A has more than one responsibility, these responsibilities become coupled and as such changes to one of these responsibilities may require changes to other of A's responsibilities. 2) Related functionality usually needs to be changed for the same reason and by grouping it togerther in a single class, the changes can be made in as few places as possible ( at best changes only need be made to the class which groups together these functionalities) 3) Assuming class A performs two tasks ( thus may change for two reasons ), then number of classes utilising A will be greater than if A performed just a single task ( reason being that some classes will need A to perform first task, other will need A for second task, and still others will utilise it for both tasks ).This also means that when A breaks, the number of classes ( utilising A ) being impaired will be greater than if A performed just a single task. Can SRP also help reduce coupling in any other way, not described above? Thank you

  • How to get the Three.js import/export scripts into Blender on Ubuntu?

    - by Bane
I have been working with 3D primitives in Three.js, but now I want to import some models. I plan on using Blender, which I have just downloaded with: sudo apt-get install blender However, I was instructed to put the import/export scripts in the .blender/2.62/scripts/addons folder, but it does not exist! .blender/2.62 does exist, but it only has a config folder. The next thing I did is manually changed the script search path in Blender's preferences from // to my homefolder/scripts, which contained the required io_mesh_threejs folder (which, in turn had the .py scripts inside). I saved the changes, restarted Blender, but still nothing: in the menu there is no mention of Three.js at all! What do I do? It would be great if I knew the installation path for Blender, because maybe I could put those scripts there manually. Where should it be installed? EDIT: these are the scripts I'm talking about, along with the instructions: https://github.com/mrdoob/three.js/tree/master/utils/exporters/blender.

  • Dynamic scoping in Clojure?

    - by j-g-faustus
Hi, I'm looking for an idiomatic way to get dynamically scoped variables in Clojure (or a similar effect) for use in templates and such. Here is an example problem using a lookup table to translate tag attributes from some non-HTML format to HTML, where the table needs access to a set of variables supplied from elsewhere: (def *attr-table* ; Key: [attr-key tag-name] or [boolean-function] ; Value: [attr-key attr-value] (empty array to ignore) ; Context: Variables "tagname", "akey", "aval" '( ; translate :LINK attribute in <a> to :href [:LINK "a"] [:href aval] ; translate :LINK attribute in <img> to :src [:LINK "img"] [:src aval] ; throw exception if :LINK attribute in any other tag [:LINK] (throw (RuntimeException. (str "No match for " tagname))) ; ... more rules ; ignore string keys, used for internal bookkeeping [(string? akey)] [] )) ; ignore I want to be able to evaluate the rules (left hand side) as well as the result (right hand side), and need some way to put the variables in scope at the location where the table is evaluated. I also want to keep the lookup and evaluation logic independent of any particular table or set of variables. I suppose there are similar issues involved in templates (for example for dynamic HTML), where you don't want to rewrite the template processing logic every time someone puts a new variable in a template. Here is one approach using global variables and bindings. I have included some logic for the table lookup: ;; Generic code, works with any table on the same format. (defn rule-match? [rule-val test-val] "true if a single rule matches a single argument value" (cond (not (coll? rule-val)) (= rule-val test-val) ; plain value (list? rule-val) (eval rule-val) ; function call :else false )) (defn rule-lookup [test-val rule-table] "looks up rule match for test-val. Returns result or nil." (loop [rules (partition 2 rule-table)] (when-not (empty? rules) (let [[select result] (first rules)] (if (every? #(boolean %) (map rule-match? select test-val)) (eval result) ; evaluate and return result (recur (rest rules)) ))))) ;; Code specific to *attr-table* (def tagname) ; need these globals for the binding in html-attr (def akey) (def aval) (defn html-attr [tagname h-attr] "converts to html attributes" (apply hash-map (flatten (map (fn [[k v :as kv]] (binding [tagname tagname akey k aval v] (or (rule-lookup [k tagname] *attr-table*) kv))) h-attr )))) (defn test-attr [] "test conversion" (prn "a" (html-attr "a" {:LINK "www.google.com" "internal" 42 :title "A link" })) (prn "img" (html-attr "img" {:LINK "logo.png" }))) user=> (test-attr) "a" {:href "www.google.com", :title "A link"} "img" {:src "logo.png"} This is nice in that the lookup logic is independent of the table, so it can be reused with other tables and different variables. (Plus of course that the general table approach is about a quarter of the size of the code I had when I did the translations "by hand" in a giant cond.) It is not so nice in that I need to declare every variable as a global for the binding to work. Here is another approach using a "semi-macro", a function with a syntax-quoted return value, that doesn't need globals: (defn attr-table [tagname akey aval] `( [:LINK "a"] [:href ~aval] [:LINK "img"] [:src ~aval] [:LINK] (throw (RuntimeException. (str "No match for " tagname))) ; ... more rules [(string? ~akey)] [] ))) Only a couple of changes are needed to the rest of the code: In rule-match?, when syntax-quoted the function call is no longer a list: - (list? rule-val) (eval rule-val) + (seq? rule-val) (eval rule-val) In html-attr: - (binding [tagname tagname akey k aval v] - (or (rule-lookup [k tagname] *attr-table*) kv))) + (or (rule-lookup [k tagname] (attr-table tagname k v)) kv))) And we get the same result without globals. (And without dynamic scoping.) Are there other alternatives to pass along sets of variable bindings declared elsewhere, without the globals required by Clojure's binding? Is there an idiomatic way of doing it, like Ruby's binding or Javascript's function.apply(context)?

  • How do I find out what a Spam Custom Rule is?

    - by SoaperGEM
We use a Barracuda Spam Filter at work, and we also provide a mass emailing program to some of clients that send out newsletters. Lately one of them's been composing his latest company newsletter and has been trying to send preview messages to himself, but they've actually been quarantined by Barracuda as potential spam, even though they aren't. I can see the breakdown of the spam scoring headers in Barracuda, but I'm not sure what certain rules mean. Here's the breakdown: pts rule name description ---- ---------------------- -------------------------------------------------- 0.00 FUZZY_CPILL BODY: Attempt to obfuscate words in spam 2.21 HTML_IMAGE_ONLY_24 BODY: HTML: images with 2000-2400 bytes of words 0.00 HTML_MESSAGE BODY: HTML included in message 0.50 BSF_SC0_SA_TO_FROM_ADDR_MATCH Sender Address Matches Recipient Address 1.00 BSF_SC0_SA392f Custom Rule SA392f What is "Custom Rule SA392f"? Where do I find descriptions of these custom rules? And what does "images with 2000-2400 bytes of words" mean? Is that referring to the file size of the image, or something about the attributes on the <img> tag?

I recieve all the undeliverable reports for mailings sent from my company. Moving and cataloguing them can take a while, and it would be handy if I could create a rule that did that for me. The most robust way of doing this would seem to be to run a rule based on the Undeliverable message class. However, I can't see message class as an option anywhere in the advanced rules wizard, and Googling it is no help. EDIT: I already have a rule that searches for "Undeliverable" in the subject header of emails received and moves them, but this only affects traditional emails (i.e. those with a message class of "Message") and ignores actual undeliverable reports. Am I missing something obvious, or can this not be done?

  • SQL SERVER – Three Methods to Insert Multiple Rows into Single Table – SQL in Sixty Seconds #024 – Video

    - by pinaldave
One of the biggest ask I have always received from developers is that if there is any way to insert multiple rows into a single table in a single statement. Currently when developers have to insert any value into the table they have to write multiple insert statements. First of all this is not only boring it is also very much time consuming as well. Additionally, one has to repeat the same syntax so many times that the word boring becomes an understatement. In the following quick video we have demonstrated three different methods to insert multiple values into a single table. -- Insert Multiple Values into SQL Server CREATE TABLE #SQLAuthority (ID INT, Value VARCHAR(100)); Method 1: Traditional Method of INSERT…VALUE -- Method 1 - Traditional Insert INSERT INTO #SQLAuthority (ID, Value) VALUES (1, 'First'); INSERT INTO #SQLAuthority (ID, Value) VALUES (2, 'Second'); INSERT INTO #SQLAuthority (ID, Value) VALUES (3, 'Third'); Clean up -- Clean up TRUNCATE TABLE #SQLAuthority; Method 2: INSERT…SELECT -- Method 2 - Select Union Insert INSERT INTO #SQLAuthority (ID, Value) SELECT 1, 'First' UNION ALL SELECT 2, 'Second' UNION ALL SELECT 3, 'Third'; Clean up -- Clean up TRUNCATE TABLE #SQLAuthority; Method 3: SQL Server 2008+ Row Construction -- Method 3 - SQL Server 2008+ Row Construction INSERT INTO #SQLAuthority (ID, Value) VALUES (1, 'First'), (2, 'Second'), (3, 'Third'); Clean up -- Clean up DROP TABLE #SQLAuthority; Related Tips in SQL in Sixty Seconds: SQL SERVER – Insert Multiple Records Using One Insert Statement – Use of UNION ALL SQL SERVER – 2008 – Insert Multiple Records Using One Insert Statement – Use of Row Constructor I encourage you to submit your ideas for SQL in Sixty Seconds. • Corosync :: Restarting some resources after Lan connectivity issue

    - by moebius_eye
    I am currently looking into corosync to build a two-node cluster. So, I've got it working fine, and it does what I want to do, which is: Lost connectivity between the two nodes gives the first node '10node' both Failover Wan IPs. (aka resources WanCluster100 and WanCluster101 ) '11node' does nothing. He "thinks" he still has his Failover Wan IP. (aka WanCluster101) But it doesn't do this: '11node' should restart the WanCluster101 resource when the connectivity with the other node is back. This is to prevent a condition where node10 simply dies (and thus does not get 11node's Failover Wan IP), resulting in a situation where none of the nodes have 10node's failover IP because 10node is down 11node has "given back" his failover Wan IP. Here's the current configuration I'm working on. node 10sch \ attributes standby="off" node 11sch \ attributes standby="off" primitive LanCluster100 ocf:heartbeat:IPaddr2 \ params ip="172.25.0.100" cidr_netmask="32" nic="eth3" \ op monitor interval="10s" \ meta is-managed="true" target-role="Started" primitive LanCluster101 ocf:heartbeat:IPaddr2 \ params ip="172.25.0.101" cidr_netmask="32" nic="eth3" \ op monitor interval="10s" \ meta is-managed="true" target-role="Started" primitive Ping100 ocf:pacemaker:ping \ params host_list="192.0.2.1" multiplier="500" dampen="15s" \ op monitor interval="5s" \ meta target-role="Started" primitive Ping101 ocf:pacemaker:ping \ params host_list="192.0.2.1" multiplier="500" dampen="15s" \ op monitor interval="5s" \ meta target-role="Started" primitive WanCluster100 ocf:heartbeat:IPaddr2 \ params ip="192.0.2.100" cidr_netmask="32" nic="eth2" \ op monitor interval="10s" \ meta target-role="Started" primitive WanCluster101 ocf:heartbeat:IPaddr2 \ params ip="192.0.2.101" cidr_netmask="32" nic="eth2" \ op monitor interval="10s" \ meta target-role="Started" primitive Website0 ocf:heartbeat:apache \ params configfile="/etc/apache2/apache2.conf" options="-DSSL" \ operations $id="Website-one" \ op start interval="0" timeout="40" \ op stop interval="0" timeout="60" \ op monitor interval="10" timeout="120" start-delay="0" statusurl="http://127.0.0.1/server-status/" \ meta target-role="Started" primitive Website1 ocf:heartbeat:apache \ params configfile="/etc/apache2/apache2.conf.1" options="-DSSL" \ operations $id="Website-two" \ op start interval="0" timeout="40" \ op stop interval="0" timeout="60" \ op monitor interval="10" timeout="120" start-delay="0" statusurl="http://127.0.0.1/server-status/" \ meta target-role="Started" group All100 WanCluster100 LanCluster100 group All101 WanCluster101 LanCluster101 location AlwaysPing100WithNode10 Ping100 \ rule $id="AlWaysPing100WithNode10-rule" inf: #uname eq 10sch location AlwaysPing101WithNode11 Ping101 \ rule $id="AlWaysPing101WithNode11-rule" inf: #uname eq 11sch location NeverLan100WithNode11 LanCluster100 \ rule $id="RAND1083308" -inf: #uname eq 11sch location NeverPing100WithNode11 Ping100 \ rule $id="NeverPing100WithNode11-rule" -inf: #uname eq 11sch location NeverPing101WithNode10 Ping101 \ rule $id="NeverPing101WithNode10-rule" -inf: #uname eq 10sch location Website0NeedsConnectivity Website0 \ rule $id="Website0NeedsConnectivity-rule" -inf: not_defined pingd or pingd lte 0 location Website1NeedsConnectivity Website1 \ rule $id="Website1NeedsConnectivity-rule" -inf: not_defined pingd or pingd lte 0 colocation Never -inf: LanCluster101 LanCluster100 colocation Never2 -inf: WanCluster100 LanCluster101 colocation NeverBothWebsitesTogether -inf: Website0 Website1 property $id="cib-bootstrap-options" \ dc-version="1.1.7-ee0730e13d124c3d58f00016c3376a1de5323cff" \ cluster-infrastructure="openais" \ expected-quorum-votes="2" \ no-quorum-policy="ignore" \ stonith-enabled="false" \ last-lrm-refresh="1408954702" \ maintenance-mode="false" rsc_defaults $id="rsc-options" \ resource-stickiness="100" \ migration-threshold="3" I also have a less important question concerning this line: colocation NeverBothLans -inf: LanCluster101 LanCluster100 How do I tell it that this collocation only applies to '11node'.
