Normally, durring a phone call when the user holds the device up to their ear, the screen shuts off so they wont accidentally push buttons with their face. I would like to make my app do the same thing when the user is listening to their voice mail. anyone know how to do this?

  • OpenGL Projection matrix won't allow displaying anything

    I'm trying to get some basic OpenGL-ES with Shaders to run on the iPhone, based on some examples. For some reason my projection matrix refuses to result in something on the screen. It feels like a clipping plane is set very near but that contradicts with the values I supply. If I render the same scene with an Orthogonal projection matrix I see my object just no perspective obviously. But I can't find a way to restore all windows within my previously detached session. I can see that I can restore just one of them by ID. But how can I reattach exact the same session environment with all the windows in it?

I know how to minimize or make a frame invisible but this has to be done real fast cos it's going to happen alot in each second (at least once every second).     I have been given the task at work of screen scraping one of our legacy web apps to extract certain data from the code. The data is formatted and "should" be displayed exactly the same every time. I am just not sure how to go about doing this. It's a full html file with header and footer navigations but in the middle of all this is the data I need.
