  • Download Google+ Android App

    - by Gopinath
    You can access Google’s new social networking service,Google+, on your Android mobile phones using a native application. Google+ for mobile makes sharing the right things with the right people a lot simpler. Huddle lets you send super-fast messages to the people you care about most. With your permission, Instant Upload automatically puts the photos and videos you take into a private album in the cloud, so you can share them anytime, from anywhere. And no matter where you are, the stream lets you stay in the loop about what your friends are sharing and where they’re checking in. Here is a demonstration video of Google+ for Android. Google will release a native app for iPhone soon and there is no word on when they are going to release Google+ for other mobiles like Windows Phone 7, BlackBerry and Nokia. By the way you need invitation to access Google+ and you can request for one over here (more information on how to get Google+ Invite) Download Google+ for Android from Market Place This article titled,Download Google+ Android App, was originally published at Tech Dreams. • VPS Server OS differences

    - by silvercover
    I have two VPS servers. one of them is running Linux and the other is Windows one. I've uploaded same file to their public_html folders and could see them in my browser via static IP address of each one like http://178.63.165.178/getorder/file.xml and http://178.63.165.178/getorder/file.xml. On the other side there is a device called SMSPrinter that configured to read those XML files using GPRS and need static IP address to reach destination server. unfortunately this device can only read file from windows server and could not reach the file on Linux server. There is no note in this device manual suggesting Windows server or specific OS! I've also set file permission on Linux server to 777 to have no limitation. what could be the cause of our problem? Thanks.

  • Android - HorizontalScrollView within ScrollView Touch Handling

    - by Joel
    Hi, I have a ScrollView that surrounds my entire layout so that the entire screen is scrollable. The first element I have in this ScrollView is a HorizontalScrollView block that has features that can be scrolled through horizontally. I've added an ontouchlistener to the horizontalscrollview to handle touch events and force the view to "snap" to the closest image on the ACTION_UP event. So the effect I'm going for is like the stock android homescreen where you can scroll from one to the other and it snaps to one screen when you lift your finger. This all works great except for one problem: I need to swipe left to right almost perfectly horizontally for an ACTION_UP to ever register. If I swipe vertically in the very least (which I think many people tend to do on their phones when swiping side to side), I will receive an ACTION_CANCEL instead of an ACTION_UP. My theory is that this is because the horizontalscrollview is within a scrollview, and the scrollview is hijacking the vertical touch to allow for vertical scrolling. How can I disable the touch events for the scrollview from just within my horizontal scrollview, but still allow for normal vertical scrolling elsewhere in the scrollview? Here's a sample of my code: public class HomeFeatureLayout extends HorizontalScrollView { private ArrayList<ListItem> items = null; private GestureDetector gestureDetector; View.OnTouchListener gestureListener; private static final int SWIPE_MIN_DISTANCE = 5; private static final int SWIPE_THRESHOLD_VELOCITY = 300; private int activeFeature = 0; public HomeFeatureLayout(Context context, ArrayList<ListItem> items){ super(context); setLayoutParams(new LayoutParams(LayoutParams.FILL_PARENT, LayoutParams.WRAP_CONTENT)); setFadingEdgeLength(0); this.setHorizontalScrollBarEnabled(false); this.setVerticalScrollBarEnabled(false); LinearLayout internalWrapper = new LinearLayout(context); internalWrapper.setLayoutParams(new LayoutParams(LayoutParams.FILL_PARENT, LayoutParams.FILL_PARENT)); internalWrapper.setOrientation(LinearLayout.HORIZONTAL); addView(internalWrapper); this.items = items; for(int i = 0; i< items.size();i++){ LinearLayout featureLayout = (LinearLayout) View.inflate(this.getContext(),R.layout.homefeature,null); TextView header = (TextView) featureLayout.findViewById(R.id.featureheader); ImageView image = (ImageView) featureLayout.findViewById(R.id.featureimage); TextView title = (TextView) featureLayout.findViewById(R.id.featuretitle); title.setTag(items.get(i).GetLinkURL()); TextView date = (TextView) featureLayout.findViewById(R.id.featuredate); header.setText("FEATURED"); Image cachedImage = new Image(this.getContext(), items.get(i).GetImageURL()); image.setImageDrawable(cachedImage.getImage()); title.setText(items.get(i).GetTitle()); date.setText(items.get(i).GetDate()); internalWrapper.addView(featureLayout); } gestureDetector = new GestureDetector(new MyGestureDetector()); setOnTouchListener(new View.OnTouchListener() { @Override public boolean onTouch(View v, MotionEvent event) { if (gestureDetector.onTouchEvent(event)) { return true; } else if(event.getAction() == MotionEvent.ACTION_UP || event.getAction() == MotionEvent.ACTION_CANCEL ){ int scrollX = getScrollX(); int featureWidth = getMeasuredWidth(); activeFeature = ((scrollX + (featureWidth/2))/featureWidth); int scrollTo = activeFeature*featureWidth; smoothScrollTo(scrollTo, 0); return true; } else{ return false; } } }); } class MyGestureDetector extends SimpleOnGestureListener { @Override public boolean onFling(MotionEvent e1, MotionEvent e2, float velocityX, float velocityY) { try { //right to left if(e1.getX() - e2.getX() > SWIPE_MIN_DISTANCE && Math.abs(velocityX) > SWIPE_THRESHOLD_VELOCITY) { activeFeature = (activeFeature < (items.size() - 1))? activeFeature + 1:items.size() -1; smoothScrollTo(activeFeature*getMeasuredWidth(), 0); return true; } //left to right else if (e2.getX() - e1.getX() > SWIPE_MIN_DISTANCE && Math.abs(velocityX) > SWIPE_THRESHOLD_VELOCITY) { activeFeature = (activeFeature > 0)? activeFeature - 1:0; smoothScrollTo(activeFeature*getMeasuredWidth(), 0); return true; } } catch (Exception e) { // nothing } return false; } } }

  • DefaultHttpClient GET and POST commands Java Android

    - by RenegadeAndy
    Ok this is my application : An Android app to allow me to submit CokeZone codes into CokeZone.co.uk from a mobile app instead of from the website. So I wrote this section of code to do the post logon command and then check to see if im logged in after. Problem is - the html I get from the homepage after I send the post command is the default - as if im not logged in - so something is going wrong. Can anyone please help! Its probably the URL im sending the POST to, or the params within the POST command - I havent done much of this stuff so its probably something obvious. Below is my code so far: DefaultHttpClient httpclient = new DefaultHttpClient(); HttpGet httpget = new HttpGet(url); HttpResponse response = httpclient.execute(httpget); HttpEntity entity = response.getEntity(); thisResponse = printPage(entity.getContent()); Log.e("debug",thisResponse); System.out.println("Login form get: " + response.getStatusLine()); if (entity != null) { entity.consumeContent(); } System.out.println("Initial set of cookies:"); List<Cookie> cookies = httpclient.getCookieStore().getCookies(); if (cookies.isEmpty()) { System.out.println("None"); } else { for (int i = 0; i < cookies.size(); i++) { System.out.println("- " + cookies.get(i).toString()); } } HttpPost httpost = new HttpPost("https://secure.cokezone.co.uk/home/blank.jsp?_DARGS=/home/login/login.jsp"); List <NameValuePair> nvps = new ArrayList <NameValuePair>(); nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair("_dyncharset", "ISO-8859-1")); nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair("/grlp/login/LoginHandler.loginFormBean.name","renegadeandy%40gmail.com")); nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair("_D:/grlp/login/LoginHandler.loginFormBean.name", "+")); nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair("/grlp/login/LoginHandler.cookiedUser", "false")); nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair("_D:/grlp/login/LoginHandler.cookiedUser", "+")); nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair("/grlp/login/LoginHandler.loginFormBean.password", "passwordval")); nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair("_D:/grlp/login/LoginHandler.loginFormBean.password", "+")); nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair("/grlp/login/LoginHandler.rememberMe", "yes")); nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair("_D:/grlp/login/LoginHandler.rememberMe", "false")); nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair("/grlp/login/LoginHandler.aSuccessURL", "http://www.cokezone.co.uk/home/index.jsp")); nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair("_D:/grlp/login/LoginHandler.aSuccessURL", "+")); nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair("/grlp/login/LoginHandler.aErrorURL", "http://www.cokezone.co.uk/home/index.jsphttps://secure.cokezone.co.uk/home/index.jsp")); nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair("/grlp/login/LoginHandler.aErrorURL", "+")); nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair("/grlp/login/LoginHandler.explicitLogin", "true")); nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair("_D:/grlp/login/LoginHandler.explicitLogin", "+")); nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair("/grlp/login/LoginHandler.fICLogin", "login")); nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair("_D:/grlp/login/LoginHandler.fICLogin", "+")); nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair("/grlp/login/LoginHandler.fICLogin", "LOGIN")); nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair("_D:/grlp/login/LoginHandler.fICLogin", "+")); nvps.add(new BasicNameValuePair("_DARGS", "/home/login/login.jsp")); httpost.setEntity(new UrlEncodedFormEntity(nvps, HTTP.UTF_8)); response = httpclient.execute(httpost); entity = response.getEntity(); System.out.println("Login form get: " + response.getStatusLine()); if (entity != null) { thisResponse = printPage(entity.getContent()); entity.consumeContent(); } Log.e("debug",thisResponse); Log.e("debug","done"); httpget = new HttpGet("http://www.cokezone.co.uk/home/index.jsp"); response = httpclient.execute(httpget); entity = response.getEntity(); TextView points = (TextView)findViewById(R.id.points); points.setText(getPoints(entity.getContent()).toString()); debug.setText(thisResponse); System.out.println("Post logon cookies:"); cookies = httpclient.getCookieStore().getCookies(); if (cookies.isEmpty()) { System.out.println("None"); } else { for (int i = 0; i < cookies.size(); i++) { System.out.println("- " + cookies.get(i).toString()); } }

  • [android] MediaRecorder prepare() causes segfault

    - by dwilde1
    Folks, I have a situation where my MediaRecorder instance causes a segfault. I'm working with a HTC Hero, Android 1.5+APIs. I've tried all variations, including 3gpp and H.263 and reducing the video resolution to 320x240. What am I missing? The state machine causes 4 MediaPlayer beeps and then turns on the video camera. Here's the pertinent source: UPDATE: ADDING SURFACE CREATE INFO I have rebooted the device based on previous answer to similar question. UPDATE 2: I seem to be following the MediaRecorder state machine perfectly, and if I trap out the MR code, the blank surface displays perfectly and everything else functions perfectly. I can record videos manually and play back via MediaPlayer in my code, so there should be nothing wrong with the underlying code. I've copied sample code on the surface and surfaceHolder code. I've looked at the MR instance in the Debug perspective in Eclipse and see that all (known) variables seem to be instantiated correctly. The setter calls are all now implemented in the exaxct order specced in the state diagram. // in activity class definition protected MediaPlayer mPlayer; protected MediaRecorder mRecorder; protected boolean inCapture = false; protected int phaseCapture = 0; protected int durCapturePhase = INF; protected SurfaceView surface; protected SurfaceHolder surfaceHolder; // in onCreate() // panelPreview is an empty LinearLayout surface = new SurfaceView(getApplicationContext()); surfaceHolder = surface.getHolder(); surfaceHolder.setType(SurfaceHolder.SURFACE_TYPE_PUSH_BUFFERS); panelPreview.addView(surface); // in timer handler runnable if (mRecorder == null) mRecorder = new MediaRecorder(); mRecorder.setAudioSource(MediaRecorder.AudioSource.MIC); mRecorder.setVideoSource(MediaRecorder.VideoSource.CAMERA); mRecorder.setOutputFormat(MediaRecorder.OutputFormat.THREE_GPP); mRecorder.setAudioEncoder(MediaRecorder.AudioEncoder.AMR_NB); mRecorder.setOutputFile(path + "/" + vlip); mRecorder.setVideoSize(320, 240); mRecorder.setVideoFrameRate(15); mRecorder.setPreviewDisplay(surfaceHolder.getSurface()); panelPreview.setVisibility(LinearLayout.VISIBLE); mRecorder.prepare(); mRecorder.start(); Here is a complete log trace for the process run and crash: I/ActivityManager( 80): Start proc com.ejf.convince.jenplus for activity com.ejf.convince.jenplus/.JenPLUS: pid=17738 uid=10075 gids={1006, 3003} I/jdwp (17738): received file descriptor 10 from ADB W/System.err(17738): Can't dispatch DDM chunk 46454154: no handler defined W/System.err(17738): Can't dispatch DDM chunk 4d505251: no handler defined I/WindowManager( 80): Screen status=true, current orientation=-1, SensorEnabled=false I/WindowManager( 80): needSensorRunningLp, mCurrentAppOrientation =-1 I/WindowManager( 80): Enabling listeners W/ActivityThread(17738): Application com.ejf.convince.jenplus is waiting for the debugger on port 8100... One is that when I click (do a tap) on any location, the overlay is not changing to that place. Also, the app crashes when I am on the MapView page and I click on back button. What might be the error?

  • Sort file as Month name in ColdFusion

    - by Simon Guo
    I have a directory, it contains files like: january2009.xml, february2009.xml, march2009.xml,april2009.xml,january2010.xml, february2010.xml, march2010.xml,april2010.xml ... I use the cfdirectory to get the file by year. Right now, I want to display it as sorted order in month. Say If I only want year 2009 data. I want it sorted as january2009.xml, february2009.xml, march2009.xml,april2009.xml but not april2009.xml, february2009.xml, january2009.xml, march2009.xml Anyone has easy way to do it in ColdFusion?

  • JAXB Web Services: Multiple Object Marshalling

    - by Luke Evans
    I can marshal and unmarshal 1 object with no problems (in netbeans); I need to know how to do this with multiple objects? I can't generate anything but null pointer exceptions when trying to unmarshal 3 objects into an array from XML; so I don't even know if I've marshalled the 3 out correctly. I know the basic idea of declaring the object, then using the jaxbu or jaxbm command, but I'd like to see this working for more than one object. **TLDR: How do I marshal/unmarshal multiple objects of a single class into/out of XML?? THANKS Code I have that marshals one object from XML: try { JAXBContext jc = JAXBContext.newInstance ("myOffers"); Unmarshaller u = jc.createUnmarshaller (); myOffers.Offer flight = (myOffers.Offer) u.unmarshal( new FileInputStream( "offers.xml" )); System.out.println ("Airline is : " + flight.getAirline()); System.out.println ("Origin is : " + flight.getOrigin()); System.out.println ("Destination is : " + flight.getDestination()); System.out.println ("Seats available : " + flight.getSeats()); System.out.println("Proximity to City Centre is : " + flight.getProximity()); System.out.println("Currency : " + flight.fare.getCurrency()); System.out.println("Value : " + flight.fare.getValue()); } catch (JAXBException e) { System.out.println("Error " + e);} ok so the Xml is: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?> <ns2:offer xmlns:ns2="http://simple.example.com/CInfoXmlDoc"> <Origin>Nottingham</Origin> <Destination>Istanbul</Destination> <Airline>Lufthansa</Airline> <Proximity>10</Proximity> <Seats>260</Seats> <Fare> <Currency>GBP</Currency> <Value>300</Value> </Fare> </ns2:offer> <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?> <ns2:offer xmlns:ns2="http://simple.example.com/CInfoXmlDoc"> <Origin>Birmingham</Origin> <Destination>Cairo</Destination> <Airline>Monarch</Airline> <Proximity>15</Proximity> <Seats>350</Seats> <Fare> <Currency>GBP</Currency> <Value>300</Value> </Fare> </ns2:offer> public static void main(String[] args) throws FileNotFoundException { int i = 0; int arraySize = 2; myOffers.Offer offer[] = new myOffers.Offer[arraySize]; offer[i] = new myOffers.Offer(); offer[i].fare = new myOffers.Offer.Fare(); offer[i].setAirline("Lufthansa"); offer[i].setOrigin("Nottingham"); offer[i].setDestination("Istanbul"); offer[i].setSeats(260); offer[i].setProximity(10); offer[i].fare.currency = "GBP"; offer[i].fare.value = 300; i++; offer[i] = new myOffers.Offer(); offer[i].fare = new myOffers.Offer.Fare(); offer[i].setAirline("Monarch"); offer[i].setOrigin("Birmingham"); offer[i].setDestination("Cairo"); offer[i].setSeats(350); offer[i].setProximity(15); offer[i].fare.currency = "GBP"; offer[i].fare.value = 300; try { int n = 0; FileOutputStream f = new FileOutputStream("offers.xml"); javax.xml.bind.JAXBContext jaxbCtx = javax.xml.bind.JAXBContext.newInstance(offer[n].getClass().getPackage().getName()); javax.xml.bind.Marshaller marshaller = jaxbCtx.createMarshaller(); marshaller.setProperty(javax.xml.bind.Marshaller.JAXB_ENCODING, "UTF-8"); //NOI18N marshaller.setProperty(javax.xml.bind.Marshaller.JAXB_FORMATTED_OUTPUT, Boolean.TRUE); while (n < arraySize) { marshaller.marshal(offer[n], f); n++; } } catch (javax.xml.bind.JAXBException ex) { // XXXTODO Handle exception java.util.logging.Logger.getLogger("global").log(java.util.logging.Level.SEVERE, null, ex); //NOI18N } } Which was generated by my marshal code found here: public static void main(String[] args) throws FileNotFoundException { int i = 0; int arraySize = 2; myOffers.Offer offer[] = new myOffers.Offer[arraySize]; offer[i] = new myOffers.Offer(); offer[i].fare = new myOffers.Offer.Fare(); offer[i].setAirline("Lufthansa"); offer[i].setOrigin("Nottingham"); offer[i].setDestination("Istanbul"); offer[i].setSeats(260); offer[i].setProximity(10); offer[i].fare.currency = "GBP"; offer[i].fare.value = 300; i++; offer[i] = new myOffers.Offer(); offer[i].fare = new myOffers.Offer.Fare(); offer[i].setAirline("Monarch"); offer[i].setOrigin("Birmingham"); offer[i].setDestination("Cairo"); offer[i].setSeats(350); offer[i].setProximity(15); offer[i].fare.currency = "GBP"; offer[i].fare.value = 300; try { int n = 0; FileOutputStream f = new FileOutputStream("offers.xml"); javax.xml.bind.JAXBContext jaxbCtx = javax.xml.bind.JAXBContext.newInstance(offer[n].getClass().getPackage().getName()); javax.xml.bind.Marshaller marshaller = jaxbCtx.createMarshaller(); marshaller.setProperty(javax.xml.bind.Marshaller.JAXB_ENCODING, "UTF-8"); //NOI18N marshaller.setProperty(javax.xml.bind.Marshaller.JAXB_FORMATTED_OUTPUT, Boolean.TRUE); while (n < arraySize) { marshaller.marshal(offer[n], f); n++; } } catch (javax.xml.bind.JAXBException ex) { // XXXTODO Handle exception java.util.logging.Logger.getLogger("global").log(java.util.logging.Level.SEVERE, null, ex); //NOI18N } } Apologies, I'm fining this editor quite appalling but thats another matter.   • Using Flot's Bar Graph in an Android WebView with Highlighting

    - by Nicholi
    The issue is unhighlighting bars which are no longer selected in a bar graph plotted by flot in a WebView on Android. Got no other issues drawing the actual graphs (which look beautiful for something so simple btw). I am not extremely knowledgeable in terms of javascript and web design/development but it seems little should have been needed, if it would just work!! :( I believe I'm following the Flot API correctly, if not someone please scream and yell at me. It seems to work just fine in a non-mobile browser at least. Hoping someone has done this before, but if not I've got the minimal necessary code to poke at your droids if inquiring minds would like to test. I've tested on two Nexus Ones (both 2.2.1), and have tried targeting with Andriod 1.5 and 2.2 SDKs (my intention is to target 1.5 if possible). I've been attempting to hack away at this for far too long on my own now. What happens: 1. Graph loads fine with bars. All bars unhighlighted. 2. Select a bar in graph, gets highlighted fine (and a tooltip is placed). 3. Select a different bar in graph, old bar is unhighlighted, old tooltip removed, new bar highlighted and tooltip placed (still no problems). 4. Click in the vast darkness of the graph which should then unhighlight the last bar... but it doesn't. I've tried disabling flot's autohighlight and manually doing it as well to no avail. Looking into flot itself and only getting down to drawOverlay() where the issue seems to begin... An even more disturbing bug(?) appears if the fill bar option is enabled in the graph, but I'd rather just forget about that for now. Also grabbed the latest version of flot from their svn (r290), but made no different from last public release (v0.6). As a complete guess I'm thinking it's an issue with WebKit's javascript implementation (or something specific to Nexus Ones, which wouldn't be so bad), but if there is any ugly hack to just get it to work I'm all ears. I've thrown the graph data directly into the html/js, rather than deal with showing all the code involved in the Java-javascript handler and callbacks. The simple html placed in 'assets/flot/test/' with jquery.js and jquery.flot.js: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"> <script src="jquery.js"></script> <script src="jquery.flot.js"></script> <script id="source" language="javascript" type="text/javascript"> var lastItem = null; var plot = null; $(document).ready(function () { //window.testhandler.loadGraph(); // bind plotclick here $("#graphHolder").bind("plotclick", function (event, pos, item) { if (item) { var lastPoint = null; if (lastItem != null) lastPoint = lastItem.datapoint; if (!pointEquals(lastPoint, item.datapoint)) { //if (lastItem != null) // plot.unhighlight(lastItem.series, lastItem.datapoint); lastItem = item; $("#tooltip").remove(); //plot.highlight(item.series, item.datapoint); showTooltip(item.pageX, item.pageY, item.datapoint[1]); } } else if (lastItem != null) { plot.unhighlight(lastItem.series, lastItem.datapoint); // not unhighlighting anything //plot.unhighlight(); // doesn't work either, supposed to unhighlight everything lastItem = null; $("#tooltip").remove(); } }); GotGraph(); }); /** * Show a tooltip above bar in graph * @param {int} x Left coordinate of div * @param {int} y Top coordinate of div * @param {String} contents text to place in div */ function showTooltip(x, y, contents) { $('<div id="tooltip">' + contents + '</div>').css( { position: 'absolute', display: 'none', top: y, left: x, border: '1px solid #fdd', padding: '2px', 'background-color': '#fee', opacity: 0.80 }).appendTo("body").fadeIn(200); } /** * Draw the graph. • Trying to get around this Webservice call from Android using AsycTask

    - by Kevin Rave
    I am a fairly beginner in Android Development. I am developing an application that extensively relays on Webservice calls. First screen takes username and password and validates the user by calling the Webservice. If U/P is valid, then I need to fire up the 2nd activity. In that 2nd activity, I need to do 3 calls. But I haven't gotten to the 2nd part yet. In fact, I haven't completed the full coding yet. But I wanted to test if the app is working as far as I've come through. When calling webserivce, I am showing alert dialog. But the app is crashing somewhere. The LoginActivity shows up. When I enter U/P and press Login Button, it crashes. My classes: TaskHandler.java public class TaskHandler { private String URL; private User userObj; private String results; private JSONDownloaderTask task; ; public TaskHandler( String url, User user) { this.URL = url; • Which CMS for a mobile app? No HTML, just XML or JSON.

    - by Sascha
    I am a newbie in content management systems. I would need a CMS that can transfer content by XML or JSON to a client. It is ok if the CMS can also manage HTML websites, but the priority is on the data transfer over a web service. Which is the best CMS to use here? I want to avoid spending endless hours learning all the big CMS systems just to find out that they don't support this feature or that it's badly integrated. Thanks.

  • Ok to edit task's xml file in c:\windows\system32\Tasks?

    - by Eyad
    I wrote a PowerShell script that check the executable in the < action tag for each task in the Task directory and mark the < enabled TRUEorFALSE< / enabled tag as false/true depending on the validity of the digital signature of the executable. After reading each task, the script re-saves the task file with the same name, type and location. Now my issue is that I get this message when I lunch task scheduler: “Task XYZ: The task image is corrupt or has been tampered with.” This message appears for all the tasks that were scanned and saved. Does editing task’s xml file directly corrupt the task? Is there any task decency that may cause this error(ex: registry value)?

    if I want to use the following Web service (help.be is just an example, let's say it does exist): http://www.help.be/webservice/webservice_help.php (it's written in PHP=client's choice, not .NET) with the following WSDL : <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <definitions xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/" name="webservice_help" targetNamespace="http://www.help.be/webservice/webservice_help.php" xmlns:tns="http://www.help.be/webservice/webservice_help.php" xmlns:impl="http://www.help.be/webservice/webservice_help.php" xmlns:xsd1="http://www.help.be/webservice/webservice_help.php" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:wsdl="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/" xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/soap/" xmlns:soapenc="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"> <portType name="webservice_helpPortType"> <operation name="webservice_help"> <input message="tns:Webservice_helpRequest"/> </operation> <operation name="getLocation" parameterOrder="input"> <input message="tns:GetLocationRequest"/> <output message="tns:GetLocationResponse"/> </operation> <operation name="getStationDetail" parameterOrder="input"> <input message="tns:GetStationDetailRequest"/> <output message="tns:GetStationDetailResponse"/> </operation> <operation name="getStationList" parameterOrder="input"> <input message="tns:GetStationListRequest"/> <output message="tns:GetStationListResponse"/> </operation> </portType> <binding name="webservice_helpBinding" type="tns:webservice_helpPortType"> <soap:binding style="rpc" transport="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/http"/> <operation name="webservice_help"> <soap:operation soapAction="urn:webservice_help#webservice_helpServer#webservice_help"/> <input> <soap:body use="encoded" namespace="http://www.help.be/webservice/webservice_help.php" encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"/> </input> </operation> <operation name="getLocation"> <soap:operation soapAction="urn:webservice_help#webservice_helpServer#getLocation"/> <input> <soap:body parts="input" use="encoded" namespace="http://www.help.be/webservice/webservice_help.php" encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"/> </input> <output> <soap:body parts="return" use="encoded" namespace="http://www.help.be/webservice/webservice_help.php" encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"/> </output> </operation> <operation name="getStationDetail"> <soap:operation soapAction="urn:webservice_help#webservice_helpServer#getStationDetail"/> <input> <soap:body parts="input" use="encoded" namespace="http://www.help.be/webservice/webservice_help.php" encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"/> </input> <output> <soap:body parts="return" use="encoded" namespace="http://www.help.be/webservice/webservice_help.php" encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"/> </output> </operation> <operation name="getStationList"> <soap:operation soapAction="urn:webservice_help#webservice_helpServer#getStationList"/> <input> <soap:body parts="input" use="encoded" namespace="http://www.help.be/webservice/webservice_help.php" encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"/> </input> <output> <soap:body parts="return" use="encoded" namespace="http://www.help.be/webservice/webservice_help.php" encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"/> </output> </operation> </binding> <message name="Webservice_helpRequest"/> <message name="GetLocationRequest"> <part name="input" type="xsd:array"/> </message> <message name="GetLocationResponse"> <part name="return" type="xsd:array"/> </message> <message name="GetStationDetailRequest"> <part name="input" type="xsd:array"/> </message> <message name="GetStationDetailResponse"> <part name="return" type="xsd:string"/> </message> <message name="GetStationListRequest"> <part name="input" type="xsd:array"/> </message> <message name="GetStationListResponse"> <part name="return" type="xsd:string"/> </message> <service name="webservice_helpService"> <port name="webservice_helpPort" binding="tns:webservice_helpBinding"> <soap:address location="http://www.help.be/webservice/webservice_help.php"/> </port> </service> </definitions> What is the correct SOAP_ACTION, METHOD_NAME, NAMESPACE, URL I should use below ? I've tried with this : public class Main extends Activity { /** Called when the activity is first created. */ private static final String SOAP_ACTION_GETLOCATION = "getLocation"; private static final String METHOD_NAME_GETLOCATION = "getLocation"; private static final String NAMESPACE = "http://www.help.be/webservice/"; private static final String URL = "http://www.help.be/webservice/webservice_help.php"; TextView tv; @SuppressWarnings("unchecked") @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.main); tv = (TextView)findViewById(R.id.TextView01); // -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SoapObject request_location = new SoapObject(NAMESPACE, METHOD_NAME_GETLOCATION); request_location.addProperty("login", "login"); // -> string required request_location.addProperty("password", "password"); // -> string required request_location.addProperty("serial", "serial"); // -> string required request_location.addProperty("language", "fr"); // -> string required (available « fr,nl,uk,de ») request_location.addProperty("keyword", "Braine"); // -> string required // -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SoapSerializationEnvelope soapEnvelope = new SoapSerializationEnvelope(SoapEnvelope.VER11); //soapEnvelope.dotNet = true; // don't forget it for .NET WebServices ! soapEnvelope.setOutputSoapObject(request_location); AndroidHttpTransport aht = new AndroidHttpTransport(URL); try { aht.call(SOAP_ACTION_GETLOCATION, soapEnvelope); // Get the SAOP Envelope back and then extract the body SoapObject resultsRequestSOAP = (SoapObject) soapEnvelope.bodyIn; Vector XXXX = (Vector) resultsRequestSOAP.getProperty("GetLocationResponse"); int vector_size = XXXX.size(); Log.i("Hub", "testat="+vector_size); tv.setText("OK"); } catch(Exception E) { tv.setText("ERROR:" + E.getClass().getName() + ": " + E.getMessage()); Log.i("Hub", "Exception E"); Log.i("Hub", "E.getClass().getName()="+E.getClass().getName()); Log.i("Hub", "E.getMessage()="+E.getMessage()); } // -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- } } I'm not sure of the SOAP_ACTION, METHOD_NAME, NAMESPACE, URL I have to use? because soapAction is pointing to a URN instead of a traditional URL and it's PHP and not .NET ... also, I'm not sure if I have to use request_location.addProperty("login", "login"); of request_location.addAttribute("login", "login"); ? = <message name="GetLocationRequest"> <part name="input" type="xsd:array"/> What would you say ? Txs for your help. H. EDIT : Here is some code working in PHP - I simply want to have the same but in Android/JAVA : <?php ini_set("soap.wsdl_cache_enabled", "0"); // disabling WSDL cache $request['login'] = 'login'; $request['password'] = 'password'; $request['serial'] = 'serial'; $request['language'] = 'fr'; $client= new SoapClient("http://www.test.be/webservice/webservice_test.wsdl"); print_r( $client->__getFunctions()); ?><hr><h1>getLocation</h1> <h2>Input:</h2> <? $request['keyword'] = 'Bruxelles'; print_r($request); ?><h2>Result</h2><? $result = $client->getLocation($request); print_r($result); ?>

  • Draw Circle on the Map once the application gets loaded

    - by TechGeeky
    Background:- In my application what is happening currently- Whenever I am opening the application, In the top half of the android screen, it draws a Map and in the bottom half of the android screen it show's a list view. And then as soon as the location gets changed, it draw's a Circle with the current location as the center of the circle and show's an image at the current location(center of circle). Everything is working fine till here- Problem Statement:- What I want is when the user opens my application, circle should get draw immediately on the Google Map (this is currently not happening, it draw's circle only on the location changed), without waiting for the location to get changed and without any image on the center of circle and then if the location get's changed, take the current location as the center of circle and draw the circle with an image at the center of circle. And this is my below code which fulfills the scenario that I mentioned in my Background- How can I make this code to work the way I wanted to? hope I am clear enough in my question. Any suggestions will be appreciated. @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.activity_main); mapView = (MapView) findViewById(R.id.mapView); listView = (ListView) findViewById(R.id.mylist); locationManager = (LocationManager) getSystemService(Context.LOCATION_SERVICE); locationListener = new GPSLocationListener(mapView); locationManager.requestLocationUpdates( LocationManager.GPS_PROVIDER, 35000, 10, locationListener); mapView.setStreetView(true); mapView.setBuiltInZoomControls(true); mapController = mapView.getController(); mapController.setZoom(14); } Location Update class where I am sending the request to Overlay to draw the circle private class GPSLocationListener implements LocationListener { MapOverlay mapOverlay; public GPSLocationListener(MapView mapView) { } @Override public void onLocationChanged(Location location) { if (location != null) { GeoPoint point = new GeoPoint( (int) (location.getLatitude() * 1E6), (int) (location.getLongitude() * 1E6)); mapController.animateTo(point); mapController.setZoom(15); if (mapOverlay == null) { mapOverlay = new MapOverlay(this,android.R.drawable.star_on); List<Overlay> listOfOverlays = mapView.getOverlays(); listOfOverlays.add(mapOverlay); } mapOverlay.setPointToDraw(point); mapView.invalidate(); } } @Override public void onProviderDisabled(String provider) { } @Override public void onProviderEnabled(String provider) { } @Override public void onStatusChanged(String provider, int status, Bundle extras) { } } Class in which circle is getting drawn. class MapOverlay extends Overlay { private GeoPoint pointToDraw; int[] imageNames=new int[6]; private Point mScreenPoints; private Bitmap mBitmap; private Paint mCirclePaint; public MapOverlay(GPSLocationListener gpsLocationListener, int currentUser) { imageNames[0]=currentUser; mCirclePaint = new Paint(Paint.ANTI_ALIAS_FLAG); mCirclePaint.setColor(0x30000000); mCirclePaint.setStyle(Style.FILL_AND_STROKE); mBitmap = BitmapFactory.decodeResource(getResources(),imageNames[0]); mScreenPoints = new Point(); } public void setPointToDraw(GeoPoint point) { pointToDraw = point; } public GeoPoint getPointToDraw() { return pointToDraw; } @Override public boolean draw(Canvas canvas, MapView mapView, boolean shadow, long when) { super.draw(canvas, mapView, shadow); if (pointToDraw == null) { return true; } mScreenPoints = mapView.getProjection().toPixels(pointToDraw, mScreenPoints); int totalCircle=5; int radius=40; int centerimagesize=35; for (int i = 1; i <= totalCircle; i ++) { canvas.drawCircle(mScreenPoints.x,mScreenPoints.y, i*radius, mCirclePaint); } canvas.drawBitmap(mBitmap, (mScreenPoints.x-(centerimagesize/2)),(mScreenPoints.y-(centerimagesize/2)), null); super.draw(canvas,mapView,shadow); return true; } }

  • How to configure hibernate-tools with maven to generate hibernate.cfg.xml, *.hbm.xml, POJOs and DAOs

    - by mmm
    Hi, can any one tell me how to force maven to precede mapping .hbm.xml files in the automatically generated hibernate.cfg.xml file with package path? My general idea is, I'd like to use hibernate-tools via maven to generate the persistence layer for my application. So, I need the hibernate.cfg.xml, then all my_table_names.hbm.xml and at the end the POJO's generated. Yet, the hbm2java goal won't work as I put *.hbm.xml files into the src/main/resources/package/path/ folder but hbm2cfgxml specifies the mapping files only by table name, i.e.: <mapping resource="MyTableName.hbm.xml" /> So the big question is: how can I configure hbm2cfgxml so that hibernate.cfg.xml looks like below: <mapping resource="package/path/MyTableName.hbm.xml" /> My pom.xml looks like this at the moment: <plugin> <groupId>org.codehaus.mojo</groupId> <artifactId>hibernate3-maven-plugin</artifactId> <version>2.2</version> <executions> <execution> <id>hbm2cfgxml</id> <phase>generate-sources</phase> <goals> <goal>hbm2cfgxml</goal> </goals> <inherited>false</inherited> <configuration> <components> <component> <name>hbm2cfgxml</name> <implemetation>jdbcconfiguration</implementation> <outputDirectory>src/main/resources/</outputDirectory> </component> </components> <componentProperties> <packagename>package.path</packageName> <configurationFile>src/main/resources/hibernate.cfg.xml</configurationFile> </componentProperties> </configuration> </execution> </executions> </plugin> And then the second question: is there a way to tell maven to copy resources to the target folder before executing hbm2java? At the moment I'm using mvn clean resources:resources generate-sources for that, but there must be a better way. Thanks for any help. Update: @Pascal: Thank you for your help. The path to mappings works fine now, I don't know what was wrong before, though. Maybe there is some issue with writing to hibernate.cfg.xml while reading database config from it (though the file gets updated). I've deleted the file hibernate.cfg.xml, replaced it with database.properties and run the goals hbm2cfgxml and hbm2hbmxml. I also don't use the outputDirectory nor configurationfile in those goals anymore. As a result the files hibernate.cfg.xml and all *.hbm.xml are being generated into my target/hibernate3/generated-mappings/ folder, which is the default value. Then I updated the hbm2java goal with the following: <componentProperties> <packagename>package.name</packagename> <configurationfile>target/hibernate3/generated-mappings/hibernate.cfg.xml</configurationfile> </componentProperties> But then I get the following: [INFO] --- hibernate3-maven-plugin:2.2:hbm2java (hbm2java) @ project.persistence --- [INFO] using configuration task. [INFO] Configuration XML file loaded: file:/C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/mmm/workspace/project.persistence/target/hibernate3/generated-mappings/hibernate.cfg.xml 12:15:17,484 INFO org.hibernate.cfg.Configuration - configuring from url: file:/C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/mmm/workspace/project.persistence/target/hibernate3/generated-mappings/hibernate.cfg.xml 12:15:19,046 INFO org.hibernate.cfg.Configuration - Reading mappings from resource : package.name/Messages.hbm.xml [INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [INFO] BUILD FAILURE [INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [ERROR] Failed to execute goal org.codehaus.mojo:hibernate3-maven-plugin:2.2:hbm2java (hbm2java) on project project.persistence: Execution hbm2java of goal org.codehaus.mojo:hibernate3-maven-plugin:2.2:hbm2java failed: resource: package/name/Messages.hbm.xml not found How do I deal with that? Of course I could add: <outputDirectory>src/main/resources/package/name</outputDirectory> to the hbm2hbmxml goal, but I think this is not the best approach, or is it? Is there a way to keep all the generated code and resources away from the src/ folder? I assume, the goal of this approach is not to generate any sources into my src/main/java or /resources folder, but to keep the generated code in the target folder. As I generally agree with this point of view, I'd like to continue with that eventually executing hbm2dao and packaging the project to be used as a generated persistence layer component from the business layer. Is this also what you meant?

  • Android: How to obtain Mac Address of WiFi Network Interface?

    - by Gubatron
    It seems the java.net.NetworkInterface implementation of android does not have a byte[] getHardwareAddress() method http://developer.android.com/reference/java/net/NetworkInterface.html I've found several forums of people trying to do this with no definitive answer, I need to get a somewhat cross-device UUID, so I can't rely on phone numbers or in ANDROID_ID (which can be overwritten and which I think depends on the user having a google account) http://developer.android.com/reference/android/provider/Settings.Secure.html#ANDROID_ID In linux you can use ifconfig or read from /proc/net/arp and you can easily get the Hardware address. Is there a file in android that I can read? There has to be a way to get this address since it's shown in the "Settings About Phone Status" of the phone.

  • How to delete SMS from inbox in android programmatically?

    - by dmyung
    Just thought I'd ping this community to see if there's any knowledge on this issue. On android phones SMS messages registered to applications also get sent to the device's inbox. However to prevent clutter, it'd be nice to be able to remove app specific SMS mesg's from the inbox to reduce the potential overflow of those messages. Questions on other google groups on getting a definitive answer on a programmatic way to delete SMS messages from the android inbox don't seem to be pressing. So the scenario: Android App startup. register SMS message types X,Y and Z messages P,Q,X,Y,Z stream in over the course of time, all deposited in inbox Android app detects receipt of X,Y,Z (presumably as part of the program interrupt event) process X,Y,Z Desirement!!! X,Y,Z are deleted from android inbox Has it been done? Can it be done?

  • How to set Android Google Maps API v2 map to show whole world map?

    - by Joao
    I am developing an android application that uses a google map in the background. When I start the application, I want to display a map of the hole word. According to the android google maps API v2: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/android/views the way to set a specific zoom value is "CameraUpdateFactory.zoomTo(float)" and the same api https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/android/reference/com/google/android/gms/maps/CameraUpdateFactory#zoomTo(float) tells that the minimum argument to this function is 2. but when I call the function: mMap.moveCamera(CameraUpdateFactory.zoomTo(2)); The viewport of the world map is just a little bigger than Australia... How can I display the entire world map at once? Thanks in advance, João

  • Read SharedPreferences when you haven't set the name of the file.

    - by Pentium10
    When you createa a PreferenceScreen on Android, your application creates a default SharedPreferences file for the settings. I want to read this name, or get a reference without specifing the name. Currently I use: SharedPreferences prefs = ctx.getSharedPreferences("prefs", 0); SharedPreferences.Editor ed=prefs.edit(); But this returns another copy of the preference. When I checked the folder in /data/data/myapk/shared_prefs I see two files, one named prefs.xml and the other is my [package name]_preferences.xml (this was created by the PreferenceActivity); How do I get an instance of the shared preference with the usage of the default file name, so I should not mention a name for it?
