    - by Benchik
    Hello. I'm trying to make alternating rows in JSF2 h:dataTable (no richfaces or such) but i get an unexpected result. the table is built but it has a white grid shown (but i didn't specifiy any border) and there's no buttom line under each row. The CSS: .order-table{ border-collapse:collapse; } .order-table-header{ text-align:center; background:none repeat scroll 0 0 #E5E5E5; border-bottom:1px solid #95bce2; padding:16px; } .order-table-odd-row{ text-align:center; background:none repeat scroll 0 0 #FFFFFFF; border-top:1px solid #000000; } .order-table-even-row{ text-align:center; background:none repeat scroll 0 0 #ecf6fc; border-top:1px solid #BBBBBB; } table.order-table tr.over { background-color: #bcd4ec; } The table: <h:dataTable id="personsTable" value="#{personController.allPersons}" var="bean" styleClass="order-table" headerClass="order-table-header" rowClasses="order-table-odd-row,order-table-even-row"> <h:column> <f:facet name="header"> <h:outputText value="First Name" /> </f:facet> <h:outputText value="#{bean.firstName}"/> </h:column> <h:column> <f:facet name="header"> <h:outputText value="Last Name" /> </f:facet> <h:outputText value="#{bean.lastName}"/> </h:column> <h:column> <f:facet name="header"> <h:outputText value="Phone" /> </f:facet> <h:outputText value="#{bean.phone}"/> </h:column> </h:dataTable> and a small JQuery script: <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function(){ $(".order-table tr").mouseover(function(){ $(this).addClass("over"); }); $(".order-table tr").mouseout(function(){ $(this).removeClass("over"); }); }); </script> The result is (notice the white grid that came from i don't know where. Can't python's glob doesn't handle the bracket letters or others? Is there any way to solve this problem?

  • Any other kinds of "Task Queue" APIs ?

    - by sork
    I'm curious if it's common practice outside of the GAE platform to be able to defer tasks to background workers via webhooks. I find it particularly useful to speed up the front-end of webapps, by delegating any long process to background tasks. I'd like to hear about open source software allowing to implement a TaskQueue-like API, with webhooks preferably, if anyone has some experience in this area. Thanks!

  • .DS_Store valid in Leopard and Snow Leopard

    - by madmw
    Scripts to generate a DMG image disk for mac usually copy a .DS_Store file with folder customizations (icons sizes, positions, image background, etc.) You customize a read/write copy of the DMG, then copy the .DS_Store and use it to automate the DMG generation. It seems .DS_Store made in Leopard doesn't work in Snow Leopard and viceversa. A DMG created in Snow Leopard won't show the background image in Leopard. Is there a way to made a .DS_Store file that works in both OSX?

  • Can't Prevent Nested Div's from Overflowing when using Percent Sizes and Padding in CSS?

    - by viatropos
    I want to be able to layout nested divs with these properties: width: 100% height: 100% padding: 10px I want it to be such that, the children are 100% width and height of the remaining space after padding is calculated, not before. Otherwise, when I have a document like the below example, the child makes the scrollbars appear. But the scrollbars are not the main issue, the fact that the child stretches beyond the width of the parent container is. I can use all position: absolute declarations, but that doesn't seem right. Here is the code: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd"> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=7"> <title>Liquid Layout</title> <style> body, html { width:100%; height:100%; margin:0; padding:0; background-color:black; } #container { position:relative; width:100%; height:100%; background-color:red; opacity:0.7; } #child1 { position:relative; width:100%; height:100%; padding:10px; background-color:blue; } #nested1 { position:relative; background-color: white; width:100%; height:100%; } </style> </head> <body> <div id="container"> <div id="child1"> <div id="nested1"></div> </div> </div> </body> </html> How do I make it so, using position:relative or position:static, and percent sizes, the percents size the children according to the parent's width/height minus padding and margins? Do I have to resort to position:absolute and left/right/top/bottom? Thanks for the help, Lance

  • Dark color scheme for Eclipse?

    - by Bartosz Radaczynski
    Is Eclipse at all themeable? I would like to install a dark color scheme for it, since I much prefer white text on dark background than the other way around. Edit: so apparently there is NO easy way to do it. Shame, I really prefer Eclipse to NetBeans, but I cannot stand the white background (and NetBeans does support themes).

My main.xml is: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:orientation="vertical" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent" > <ScrollView android:id="@+id/scroller" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="wrap_content" /> </LinearLayout> Now, I add a single ImageView with setContentView(R.layout.main); ScrollView sv = (ScrollView)findViewById( R.id.scroller ); ImageView iv = new ImageView(this); iv.setImageDrawable( new BitmapDrawable( "/sdcard/770x1024.jpg" ) ); // same happens with ScaleDrawable. iv.setScaleType( ScaleType.CENTER_INSIDE ); sv.addView( sv ); // and it does not go any better if I use Linear Layout between the ScrollView and the ImageView. The result is The image was displayed in a middle of a ScrollView, wrapped with background area on top and bottom as following: ##### ##### image . . . ##### ##### Where ##### stands for background area I tried to set the background of the ImageView red, and it verified that the blank margins were ImageView background. iv.setBackgroundColor( color.Red ); Where I would expect the image to take no more than its size (scaled to the AVD size) and I expect the ScrollView to let me scroll over the remainder (if any). For some reason, I see that the drawable size is 600x1024. Moreover I tried to add a LinearLayout with a dummy text view such as the linear layout is a parent to the ImageView and the TextView, and the ScrollView is a parent to the LinearLayout. LinearLayout dummy = new LinearLayout( this ); dummy.addView(iv); TextView someTextView = new TextView( this ); someTextView.setLayoutParams(new LayoutParams( LayoutParams.FILL_PARENT, LayoutParams.WRAP_CONTENT )); dummy.addView( someTextView ); sv.addView( dummy ); The result was very peculiar: The entire layout was set into the width of a text-less text view (19). It is important for me to avoid stretching the image. What is the recommended way to implement a display of a page that can be potentially scrolled? Do I have to do it manually with a plain layout and scrolling upon OnMove events? Thanks Shmuel

  • Modify a ListBox's item from a button in it's template?

    - by Maciek
    In my Silv erlight 3 project, I'm using a ListBox to display results of a Get() operation form a WCF WebService. The ListBox's item template is the following : <ListBox x:Name="m_listview" ItemsSource="{Binding Users, Mode=TwoWay, UpdateSourceTrigger=Default}" Foreground="{StaticResource EnergyBlue}" Background="{StaticResource EnergyBackground}" HorizontalContentAlignment="Stretch" VerticalContentAlignment="Center" Grid.ColumnSpan="3" Margin="0,0,0,2" IsSynchronizedWithCurrentItem="False"> <ListBox.ItemTemplate> <DataTemplate> <Grid MinWidth="536" MinHeight="10" d:DesignWidth="19.875" d:DesignHeight="20.75"> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition Width="0.2*"/> <ColumnDefinition Width="0.2*"/> <ColumnDefinition Width="0.2*"/> <ColumnDefinition Width="0.2*"/> <ColumnDefinition Width="0.2*"/> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <TextBox Text="{Binding Path=UserName, Mode=TwoWay, UpdateSourceTrigger=Default}" Grid.Column="0" Foreground="{StaticResource EnergyWhite}" Margin="2" Background="{StaticResource EnergyBackground}" BorderBrush="{StaticResource EnergyBlue}" SelectionBackground="{StaticResource EnergyBlue}" SelectionForeground="{StaticResource EnergyWhite}" MinWidth="100"/> <PasswordBox Password="{Binding Path=UserPass, Mode=TwoWay, UpdateSourceTrigger=Default}" Grid.Column="1" Foreground="{StaticResource EnergyWhite}" Margin="2" Background="{StaticResource EnergyBackground}" BorderBrush="{StaticResource EnergyBlue}" SelectionBackground="{StaticResource EnergyBlue}" SelectionForeground="{StaticResource EnergyWhite}" MinWidth="100"/> <TextBox Text="{Binding Path=UserTypeId, Mode=TwoWay, UpdateSourceTrigger=Default}" Grid.Column="2" Foreground="{StaticResource EnergyWhite}" Margin="2" Background="{StaticResource EnergyBackground}" BorderBrush="{StaticResource EnergyBlue}" SelectionBackground="{StaticResource EnergyBlue}" SelectionForeground="{StaticResource EnergyWhite}" MinWidth="100"/> <Button Style="{StaticResource EnergyGlassButton}" Grid.Column="3" MinWidth="10" MinHeight="10" Content="Update" Click="OnUpdateUser"/> <Button Style="{StaticResource EnergyGlassButton}" Grid.Column="4" MinWidth="10" MinHeight="10" Content="Remove" Click="OnRemoveUser"/> </Grid> </DataTemplate> </ListBox.ItemTemplate> </ListBox> The template contains 2 buttons. When I click either of them, I'd like to obtain a reference to the exact data-item under the listboxitem. How do I do that? I've tried : User target_user = m_listview.SelectedItem as User; but it turned out that the listview item wasn't selected. Can it be done without actually selecting the listview item? For instance, just click on the "remove" button and have the row disappear? Best regards
