  I must not be the only one - I'm rsyncing .tar.gz files and notice that every time the full file gets rsynced rather than the differences. Reading into it it seems back in 1999 someone created an algorithm that fixed the issue http://svana.org/kleptog/rgzip.html (only 5% of data needed transferred) Has this gone anywhere since, how do I create rsync friendly .tar.gz files?

• What version of Visual Studio is this python compiled with?

  I am trying to find out the version of Visual Study that is used to compile the python on my computer It says Python 2.6.2 (r262:71605, Apr 14 2009, 22:40:02) [MSC v.1500 32 bit (Intel)] on win32 What I do not understand is that MSC V.1500. Does it mean it is compiled with 2005? I cannot find this information on `python.org' neither. Any help is appreciated!

• Jquery ajax using asp.net does not work on IE9 during the 2nd call of the function?

  I have gridview that is loaded from another aspx page after an ajax call, the problem is it works on chrome/firefox/safari but using ie9 the ajax call would work fine during the first call but when i try to call the function again it throws an 304 status on the network tab of ie9 dev tool and the gridview is not refreshed. For referencing the source of your own project you use: source:some/file But since I want to refer to code in another project my thought was that I could write something like: other_project:source:some/file Anyone that knows if this is possible in some way?   The beginnings of a site here: http://qaa.miltonfame.org/ html and css pass validation tests Page displays fine in all Mac browsers I have tried (Safari, Firefox, Camino) Page displays fine in Windows 7 FireFox Nothing but background renders in Explorer 8 Windows 7 (and in other Explorer versions via screenshot services.) View Source shows that Explorer is getting the content - it's just not appearing on screen. No idea how to approach addressing this - any suggestions would REALLY be appreciated. Thanks a million.
