    Hi, I'm using the will paginate gem from http://github.com/mislav/will_paginate Routes: map.resources :post do |post| post.resources :comments end Post Controller: @post = Post.first @comments = @post.comments.paginate :page => params[:page], :per_page => 10 My problem lies in the view: <%= will_paginate @comments %> This generates links like /post/1?page=1 What I need is /post/1/comments?page=1 Is there a way to just tell will_paginate what url helper to use? (like post_comments_path) Any ideas?

    I've set up my .htaccess so far as follows: RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?page=$1 [QSA] My index.php loads the file from /pages, eg. index.php?page=home will load the page content from pages/home.php However - if someone went to pages/home.php the page loads without the headers etc. which is undesirable. What can I add to redirect any URLs ending in .php to just take the user to the homepage? Thanks

  • How long can rails keep Ajax open

    My application is suppose to constantly update the page without any user interaction. The criteria is that the page just has to be there, as an extra window on the monitor so the user can see the information get updated real time. I'm using the Ajax in jQuery with Rails, and my question is - how long will the .erb page keep Ajax open? Will there be a point where I have to refresh the page or re-initialize? Or will that won't be a problem at all?

So far, I'm able to download the web page before the submission but not the response page containing the search results. The problem seems to be that curl isn't waiting long enough for the response page to appear. The website behaviors likes this.     I have a custom treeview which i create programmatically as there is a need of specific layout which is not achievable using asp.net treeview.It is on a master page.When i click on treenodes the content area refreshes after a postback.There is a page category.aspx which is a content page of this master page.I have a user control in that content area named products.aspx.Now i want to use ajax to prevent the postback which happens when i click on treenode.I tried putting user control in updatepanel and treeview as well in updatepanel but to no awail. How to use updatepanel in this scenerio.

    With the Ajax Control Toolkit, one can easily drag and drop all types of great extender onto controls, but they register a boatload of JavaScript to do it. How do I control this? If the ScriptManager is in the MasterPage, is there anyway to control the loading of a script on one page that isn't in another? For example: calendar extender is on one page, but the script for it gets loaded on every page that is a child of the master page.

    I am trying to a redirect the user when they click on a specific button protected void Button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { Server.Transfer("ControlPanel/Default.aspx"); } The problem is when I click Button1 it redirects me to another page localhost:57988/WebSite5/Default.aspx and the weirdest thing is it open another page with this link above, not the default page I have, but another but with the default.aspx page url that you see! Any suggestions?
