  Hi, I would like to know how to prioritize traffic from various applications. Specifically I want to know if there is a way to give web traffic higher priority over bit torrent traffic. OS : Windows XP Browser : Firefox Bittorrent client : uTorrent Can I somehow shape the traffic such that, when I am browsing, bittorrent traffic gets suppressed (but not completely) and once no web traffic is detected , it is allowed to continue at full speed ?

• How to fix GRUB after Windows breaks it, and how to edit the GRUB menu

  I had Windows XP and Ubuntu both installed. I could easily boot into either until Windows "fixed" the bootloader so that it now only boots into Windows. I guess there is no way to prevent Windows from doing this. So instead when it happens how do I quickly restore the GRUB bootloader? Also while I'm here: How do I edit the GRUB menu, to hide options I don't want and to change the default boot OS?

  I have to do a virtual host to another virtual host transfer , Both of them are hosted on Rackspace , OS (Red hat 4 ). client is using this server for hosting more than 10 live sites , lots of files in /var/www.   I recently moved a hard drive from a Dell Optiplex 760 mini-tower to a 760 small form factor. • itunes can't see iphone after reinstalled leopard

  My Mac harddisk died so I replaced it and installed OS to Leopard 10.5.8. Problem now, iTunes doesn't see my iPhone 3GS at all. (iPhoto works just fine) but iTunes is blind. I have too much info on my iPhone, I don't wish to restore/reset it and wish to get everything from my iPhone sync'd into iTunes afresh. How can I do that? Thanks. Joseph

• Networking OSX 10.6 and Vista via ethernet?

  How can I make Vista home premium access OS X hard drive? and the other way around? I'd like to transfer files via direct ethernet. Plugging in an ethernet cable makes both computers recognize a network, but not the other device. Each firewall is turned off, but no luck. Edit: I don't see Windows Sharing in the Service Column.

We have downloaded the newest driver from http://www.moschip.com/mcs7720.php, but that driver was last updated in 2005. It does not seem to be working with Macs running OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard.   I have a Windows Server 2008 X64 machine that I need to swap the boot drive on. I'd like to use a disk image/restore utility to make an image of the boot partition and restore that to the new drive. Does anyone know of a free or reasonably priced tool that can do this? I know that Acronis True Image will do it, but you need to have their server product to restore images of a server OS and it's prohibitively expensive ($850). Thanks, jon

  My screen flickers at 1280 x 1024, 75 hertz, 32 bit color, Dell Monitor e190s 19 inch square monitor. This problem only at the above mentioned resolution , it works fine with other resolutions. I just bought this Monitor 2 days back, do you think the Monitor is defective ? Why is this problem occurring , the system says this is the recommended resolution.
