  Do search engines treat the alt text of an image placed within an h1 tag the same way they would treat regular text placed in an h1 tag? I gave a search through here looking for an answer to this question, but was only able to find information on image replacement and the infamous h1 debate. For example would: <h1><img src="#" alt="Contact Us" /></h1> Act the same as: <h1>Contact Us</h1> In the electronic eye of a search engine? This seems considerably less "CSS Hacky" than other image replacement techniques like negative text indents, display:none, height:0, or ridiculous z-index integers.

  Hi I have following input which displays datetime <div ng-repeat="item in items"> <input type="text" ng-model="item.name" /> <input ng-model="item.time" /> </div> The issue i have is that time is in following format. "2002-11-28T14:00:00Z" I want to just display the time portion. For which I would have to apply filter date: 'hh:mm a' I tried ng-model="labor.start_time | date: 'hh:mm a'" Please let me know how i can show only time portion in input box showin time only. I cant use span tag as the time a user can change so have to show in input tag. Thanks

  How would i make use of tags property of a node so that i can get the attributes of an xml node. I have to display an xml tree in a winform and then when i click on any node, its attributes should get displayed on a list box in same window. I want to make use of tags property, but for that i need to convert that tree node in the winform into an xml node. I wanted to store the tree node in the tag and then typecast that tag to an xml node. I dont know how to do it? I am a newbie at C# so there might be some discrpancy in language...please help

• RSpec "undefined local variable or method `user'"

  I have the following test written in RSpec: describe '#create' do ... it 'redirects users to profile page' do response.should redirect_to user_path(user) end ... ... And the following in my UsersController: def create @user = User.new(params[:user]) if @user.save redirect_to user_path(@user) end end Does anyone know why this is returning the following error: NameError: undefined local variable or method 'user' I also tried changing this to be root_url in both cases instead of user_path(user) and it gave a different error saying: Expected response to be a <:redirect>, but was <200> Does anyone know what the issue might be? I have double-checked my code and have seen similar questions posted online, but haven't been able to find a solution. Thanks in advance for any help!

I know I can write a method def freq_bands for User but I would like to know if it is possible to have has_many freq_bands for a User. In this way I can chain the call. What I would like to have is class User < ActiveRecor::Base has_many :frequence_bands, :through => phones end I think it is possible to have nested has_many using this plugin http://github.com/ianwhite/nested_has_many_through However if possible I would like to avoid using another plugin and rely solely on rails.

  I'm having trouble figuring out the scope method for all the Foos that have no Bars. That is: class Foo < ActiveRecord::Base has_may :bars end class Bar < ActiveRecord::Base belongs_to :foo end I'd like to write a scope method that returns me all the foos that have no bars.   I am trying to put the following data from my for loop into a table formatted so that there are 11 values of F in each column, with a total of 4 columns. but I am always ending up with one long column of my data instead of the four columns I want. I was wondering if there is some way to put the data into a matrix and then reshape it, but I am having trouble.   I'm working on a three model relationship with one aspect that I'm not sure how to approach. Here's the basic relationship: class Taxonomy has_many :terms # attribute: `inclusive`, default => false end class Term belongs_to :taxonomy has_and_belongs_to_many :photos end class Photo has_and_belongs_to_many :terms end This is pretty straightforward stuff except for one thing: A Taxonomy can be either 'Inclusive' or 'Exclusive'. Exclusive means the terms are mutually exclusive, Inclusive means they're not. So, if a Taxonomy is exclusive ie. taxonomy.inclusive = false, then there can only be one term from that taxonomy attached to a given photo. Now, I can handle this on the client-side without a problem, but I am not quite sure how to set up a validation on Photos (or somewhere else) that says basically: "validate that no more than one term from an exclusive taxonomy is associated with this record." Any ideas on how to do that?

At the end of the test, the test-engine will evaluate the answers. If the student obtains more than 50% then he can unlock the next module. And his test score is printed using Crystal Reports and saved in teacher's database, against that student's record. Else, if his score is less than 50%, the test-engine will count the no. of attempts to clear the quiz & randomly generate another set of 20 questions from a file (from the teacher's database). It's complicated for me cause am a beginner. Would appreciate some help. Thanks.
