  • Where is my Git/Ungit Packages?

    I've install these follow packages: node --version : v0.10.4 npm --version : 1.2.18 git --version : 1.7.1 and i used this command: npm install -g ungit I want to use Ungit/Git via apache. But i don't know where is Git/Ungit DocumentRoot to define on virtualhost 80. I've tried to search folder which's name git or ungit but it seems not really exactly. Anybody help me about this? very thanks.

    Just got a CanonMF5880dn and cannot print to it from Suse 11.1 MacBook prints w/o issue ping 192.168.1.103 no problem cups sees it as Canon MF5880/MF5840 PCL at URI socket://192.168.1.103:9100 cups test print appears to submit and complete job but no action from printer Yast also seems to install printer correctly CQue2 also seems to install printer correctly all attempts to print yield same results: Suse indicates job processed correctly and completely but no printing happens. firewall is off http://192.168.1.103 in FF gives me the printer config menus correctly What have I failed to do?

  • Find the php script thats sending mails

    Hi, Is there any way for me to find the php script that is sending emails. I have apache+php ( no mod_suphp neither suexec ) in a "standard" install, and i want to find out witch php script is sending emails, when i check the logs i just see the uid of the user that's sending the emails ( in my case apache ) but i want to find out the script that's originated the email. Is it possible or i must install suexec or mod_suphp to keep trac of that ? Thks for the help.

    I am trying to install a dummy sound card on a Windows Server machine (in Amazon EC2 cloud) in order for one of my application to work. I'm trying to accomplish that with Virtual Audio Cable and REAUDIO3. Both tools managed to install a new device on my Windows XP machine, but on Windows Server, no new devices appear. Windows Audio and Plug and Play services are Started and Automatic. ANY ideas are greatly appreciated.

I want to know if it is possible to install Hyper-V lumped on two or more servers, so that the Virtual Machines can use the underlying resources pool of both the servers? And also if that same is possible for an “n” number of servers, instead of just 2 servers.

    I understand that yum and apt-get operate on top of rpm, so that the data about installed packages in a linux system is responsability of rpm; so that neither yum nor apt-get keep their own data about installed packages . Is this true ? It is safe to install some package using yum and install another (perhaps related) package using apt-get (or viceversa)?

    Is it possible to install 2 linux distros into 1 root, so they share same uuid and guid, configs and packages + same user /home folder ? For example: I have Ubuntu and Windows 7 already in dual boot on my laptop. Could I install Arch's base, base-devel and kernel, so it won't conflict with Ubuntu on the same root folder? P.S I don't feel like repartitioning my drive again, 'cause there's very complicated hierarchy, which occupies the entire disk. =)

    I just got a new desktop PC and was trying to install Windows 7 on it. Unfortunately I don't have a DVD drive in my laptop to burn a DVD image of Windows installation DVD, so I made a installation USB flash drive. Installation started as normal, but after clicking "Install now" I got a message that Windows can't find CD/DVD drivers and installation can't proceed. I wonder what drivers could it be missing.     Is there a way to have Silverlight automatically install updates without user interaction? I'm running Boxee on a Mac Mini, and I make heavy use of the Netflix app. However, when I start watching a Netflix movie or TV show, Silverlight often tells me "There is an update to Silverlight available, do you want to install it?" I have to start up Screen Sharing or plug in a mouse to click "OK" and continue. I'd rather just update Silverlight automatically without user interaction.

    i have installed on my server and home server (xampp) memcached with the extions memcache.so / memcache.dll (MemCache) and today i noticed that it gives MEMCACHED too, and i need to run memcached cause of the memcached command "append" which dont supports memcache i googled all the day but didnt find any tut how to install memcached for php (most tuts are for memcache and not for memcached) Can somebody help me with this problem (i want install it on my centos server and on my windows xampp server) My php version is 5x Thank you very much!

  • Uninstalling a program which uninstaller doesn't work

    I recently accidentally deleted my appdata folder, so 50% of the programs went mad, including Aptana Studio. When I looked for the uninstaller, I started it, and the "Uninstall from here:" field was empty. I clicked uninstall anyway, but it did nothing. So basically now I can't uninstall it and make a fresh install. I can't delete the files manually because the settings will stay, and the fresh install will be loading them and not working either.

    I am working with Ubuntu latest version. While installing via apt-get install i tried to abort that by pressing Ctrl+Z. It terminate successfully ;). But next time when i tried to use apt-get, i got some error "lock" and "temporally unavailable" something like that and **I unfortunately i delete the /var/lib/dkpg folder.** after that i cant install anything from apt-get, getting an error. E: Internal Error, Could not perform immediate configuration (2) on libattr1 so how can i solve this issue?

Or I'll just need to install all the appls but my files (like pictures and documents) will remain on that hard drive?     Microsoft offers the standalone Hyper-V server for free. I'm wondering if I can install roles other than the Hyper-V role on this? I know installing other roles alongside Hyper-V is a bad practice, but what I'm trying to ask is if the Hyper-V Server edition of Windows Server allows installation of other roles, like DNS server, File Server etc. Infact I'm not interested in running Hyper-V, just looking for a free windows server to install some roles on.     I have a Mint install (Fantastic stats, if you were wondering) and I would like to move over to Lighttpd for my server needs. Unfortunatly, this means that php_auto_prepend is no longer easily available. I understand that PHP can do this in the php.ini file, but I have areas that can't have this value prepended so that's out of the question. Is there a lighttpd way to prepend my script for my mint install in some files, and have it disabled for others?
