• Consolidate information held in a number of SQL Server Express Instances

  Hi, I'm trying to determine the best architecture for creating an oData web service for information held in a number of SQL Server Express instances. The web service should provide a consolidated view of the data. All the SQL Server Express instances have the same DB schema. I was initially planning to use SQL server replication however as I understand it, SQL Server 2008 Express cannot be used as a publisher. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

The class it inherits, "B", has some protected methods and protected properties that I would like to access for the benefit of my tests.   I have used Jquery UI Tabs, and given close option to the tabs. By default i am creating three tabs and its corresponding three divs. Now when i close a tab then the tab and its div are removed.   After reading command design pattern, I have a couple of question - Why we are creating concrete command and receiver object on client. Can't this initialization on invoker class? I think client should create invoker and pass it's request to invoker. Invoker should take care of all the stuff. By doing this, We have less dependency on client.   This is either trivial or runs counter to the philosophy of how make should be used, but I'd like to have a command line that reads as "make debug" rather than "make DEBUG=1". I tried creating a phony target called debug that did nothing except set the DEBUG variable, but then there was a difference between "make debug build" and "make build debug"--namely that in one case, the variable got set after the build happened. Is there a way to give certain targets precedence? Thanks for your help.

  Hello, I have a for loop that loops over one array... for i=1:length(myArray) In this loop, I want to do check on the value of myArray and add it to another array myArray2 if it meets certain conditions. I looked through the Matlab docs, but couldn't find anything on creating arrays without declaring all their values on initialization or reading data into them in one shot. Many thanks!
