At backend there is lighttpd hosting only static files, and there is an md5 in the url in case of file change, ex. /gfx/Bird.b6e0bc2d6cbb7dfe1a52bc45dd2b05c4.swf). Is that forward to backend correctly configured? Disabling health checking hit ratio increases to 0.45. Now mostly "/crossdomain.xml" is missed (from many domains, as it is wildcard). How can I avoid that? Should I carry on other headers like User-Agent or Accept-Encoding? I thing that default hashing mechanism is using url + host/IP. Compression is used at the backend. What else can improve performance?

  I have a Java application that needs to talk to another intranet website using HTTPS in both directions.   Anyone know how to fix an issue with Nginx + Apache + Wordpress redirecting to localhost/127.0.0.1? I've tried a lot of different fixes, but none have worked for me. I can go to http://domain.com/wp-admin just fine and use everything there normally. But if I try to go to http://domain.com it redirects to 127.0.0.1. Everything also works fine if I just run through Apache. • Apache forwarding to tomcat shows a blank page

  I have an application running on tomcat at http ://www.example.com:9090/mycontext. The host name in server.xml points to www .example.com. I do not have localhost anymore. I am using apache to forward requests to tomcat using mod_proxy. Things work fine as long as the ProxyPath is /mycontext. The server name setup in virtual host is www .abc.com and http ://www.abc.com/mycontext works fine. However I would like to ignore the context path and simply use http://www.abc.com/ to forward requests to http://www.example.com:9090/mycontext. When I do this, apache shows me a blank page. What am I missing here?   I am reverse proxying one site to another site. It's working nicely, but on some links it displays the original link. When I click on "about-us" it takes me to "http://test.mysite.com/about-us" which is ok When I click on "inquiry" it takes me to "http://mysite.com/inquiry" which is not correct it must be "http://test.mysite.com/inquiry". I think I've missed some thing to add in configuration file but I can't figure it out.

• How to get Subversion repository from svn:// and https://?

  I know these are noob questions, but I never got my own Subversion running before and I'm kinda lost. I installed VisualSVN in Windows, but it doesn't support svn:// protocol by default, only HTTP or HTTPS. It is working fine over HTTP, and I'm able to manage it from its management tool, see its repositories and get their HTTP-based URL, and from that I'm able to use Tortoise to check out and check in. I'm able to check out from a repository URL using Tortoise: http://Main:90/svn/HikariKrumo/ But I need svn:// protocol for Redmine to access it. Redmine says to support http:// but it reports this error message: The entry or revision was not found in the repository.. And I need HTTPS to access it from Internet. If I can get Redmine to access it from svn:// I can just configure it to use HTTPS in place of HTTP, and I hope it all to works. I like VisualSVN because of its management tool, but I can use another Subversion distro if needed, as long as it supports svn:// and https://. I'm getting crazy on it because it should be simple but I can't get it to work.

  I've got code that makes a simple get request to Twitter (search) using jQuery's ajax method. The code works fine on Safari, but fails on Firefox (3.6.3). In the Firefox case, my jQuery.ajax parameters 'success' method is invoked, but the supplied data is null. (In Safari, I receive a boatload of JSON data). Is it possible to somehow convert those values into a single integer and also revert back to their original values based on the computed integer value? I found an example online. int age, gender, height; short packed_info; . . . // packing packed_info = (((age << 1) | gender) << 7) | height; . . . // unpacking height = packed_info & 0x7f; gender = (packed_info >>> 7) & 1; age = (packed_info >>> 8); But it doesn't seem to work as it should when I entered random numbers.

  Hi - I have a controller action that returns JSON data for api purposes, and plenty of it. I want to be able to inspect it in the browser, and have it nicely indented for the viewer. For example, if my data is data = { :person => { :id => 1, :name => "john doe", :age => 30 }, :person => ... } I want to see { "person" : { "id" : 1, "name" : "john doe", "age" : 30, }, "person" : { "id" : 2, "name" : "jane doe", "age" : 31, }, ...etc } In the view. I thought about using different routes to get the bulk/pretty data: # GET /api/json # ... respond_to do |format| format.html { render :json => data.to_json } end # GET /api/json/inspect # ... respond_to do |format| format.html { render :text => pretty_json } end Anyone knows of a gem/plugin that does this or something similar? I tried using JSON.pretty_generate, but it doesn't seem to work inside rails (2.3.5). thanks.

And the first alert, which is placed inside the function shows 'undefined' at all. findRelations(members); alert("Found " + wires.length + " connections"); I guess that's because of JavaScript literal. Could you suggest how to change a function or perhaps to change litteral to JSON array to get it work?! And at the end to get 'm' and 'n' values as numbers.

Does anyone have an example of this?   Hi, I have integer type field in database which is having property "Not Null". when i create a view & do a validation, if i left that field blank, it will consider it as 0 so i can not compare it with 0 because if someone insert a value 0 then it will be considered as error! one another problem is that i am using Model error as described in the book "ASP.NET MVC 1.0" @ Scott Gu blog. And I am checking the value in partial class of object (created by LINQ-To-SQL). i.e public partial class Person { public bool IsValid { get { return (GetRuleViolations().Count() == 0); } } public IEnumerable<RuleViolation> GetRuleViolations() { if (String.IsNullOrEmpty(Name)) yield return new RuleViolation("Name is Required", "Name"); if (Age == 0) yield return new RuleViolation("Age is Required", "Age"); yield break; } partial void OnValidate(ChangeAction action) { if (!IsValid) throw new ApplicationException("Rule violations prevent saving"); } } There is also problem with range. Like in database if i declared as smallint i.e. short in c#, now if i exceed that range then it gives error as "A Value is reguired". so finally is there any best way for validation in ASP.NET MVC?
