  • HorizontalFieldmanager overlay

    Hi, I have a VerticalFieldManager that takes all my screen, and I want to put an HorizontalFieldmanager at the bottom of the screen (menu bar that appear and disappear like the WeatherEye menu bar) that overlay the VerticalFieldManager. Any idea? I think it's something with overwriting the paint or sublayout methods but I have no clue how to implement this... Thanks to Max, I have almost everything, but in my other post it resize the VerticalFieldManager instead of having the HorizontalFieldmanager overlaying it. Thank you!

    Hi, I have an application that can import an XML file through this terminal command : open /path/to/main\ app.app --args myXML.xml This works great with no issues. And i have used Applescript to launch this command through shell and it works just as well. Yet when try using Cocoa's NSTask Launcher using this code : NSTask *task = [[NSTask alloc] init]; [task setLaunchPath:@"/usr/bin/open"]; [task setCurrentDirectoryPath:@"/Applications/MainApp/InstallData/App/"]; [task setArguments:[NSArray arrayWithObjects:[(NSURL *)foundApplicationURL path], @"--args", @"ImportP.xml", nil]]; [task launch]; the applications will start up to the initial screen and then crash when either the next button is clicked or when trying to close the window. Ive tried using NSAppleScript with this : NSAppleScript *script = [[NSAppleScript alloc] initWithSource:@"tell application \"Terminal\" do script \"open /Applications/MainApp/InstallData/App/Main\\\\ App.app\" end tell"]; NSDictionary *errorInfo; [script executeAndReturnError:&errorInfo]; This will launch the program and it will crash as well and i get this error in my Xcode debug window : 12011-01-04 17:41:28.296 LaunchAppFile[4453:a0f] Error loading /Library/ScriptingAdditions/Adobe Unit Types.osax/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Unit Types: dlopen(/Library/ScriptingAdditions/Adobe Unit Types.osax/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Unit Types, 262): no suitable image found.   • My UITabBarController isn't appearing, but its first view is?

    I've done some reorganizing of my project recently and now I'm not seeing my tab bar controller, but its first view controller's view is appearing. Here's a breakdown of everything that happens prior to the problem. App Delegate loads FirstViewController with nib. FirstViewController loads the application data from my server and then presents MainViewController with a modal transition. MainViewController is where the UITabBarController is supposed to be appearing. It's a very simple class.   • IContextMenu::GetCommandString Not showing help text in Windows Explorer

    Hi, i am implementing a shell context menu for windows explorer and have successfully created the menu's. What i am having trouble with is the IContextMenu::GetCommandString method that displays the help text in the status bar when you hover over the selected menu item. When i do hover over each item nothing is displayed, but whats weird is that some of the other items that i didnt create, eg - open, or print have had their help text turned into garbage..     i have built jQuery drop-down menu which is having problems floating over the UI header. Flash and everything else is fine, menu has no problem floating over anything except UI headers, i have tried messing with z-index in css files but it seems that jQuery script is over writing all of my css. the JS files are minified so i can not edit them. I really only want to select the last div with .leftMenuProductButton within .leftMenuProductWrapper Anyway to do this without using Jquery, just pure CSS?

This is the weirdest thing: For some reason, when I'm running VS 2008 in XP, and I use the 'Advanced Appearance settings' control panel to change the Size of menu items in all applications, Visual Studio 2008 is unaffected by the change. (That's Control Panel - Display - Appearance tab - Advanced - select 'Menu' from the item drop-down, and change the Font size) Anyone else noticed this? Is anyone aware of a fix? Thanks in advance!

    Im using the MbMenu jQuery plugin. http://plugins.jquery.com/project/mbMenu http://pupunzi.open-lab.com/2009/01/18/mbmenu/ I am probably being ridiculously stupid but I wish to have multiple menus on the same page, but not load them from external files (the html structure of the menu already exists on the page). To me the only place you define what menu is linked to the element you call buildMenu on is the 'template' construction which is a external file. Thanks.
