• Display two independent Tumblr blogs on one page?

  I'd like to display two independent Tumblr blogs next to each other on one page. I'd like them to look identical to their Tumblr theme. What's the best way to do this? I'm able to use JavaScript to import the content like this: <div id="tumblr1"> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://tumblr1.tumblr.com/js"></script> <div> <div id="tumblr2"> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://tumblr2.tumblr.com/js"></script> <div> But the content obviously won't be styled. • Can the Microsoft Paint Edit Colors Dialog be supplemented?

  I have written a WinForms application that presents a color picker, limited to the known colors. My environment is Visual Studio C# Express 2008, C#, and Framework 2.0. Currently the MS Paint Colors menu item only presents an Edit Colors dialog. I would like to supplement that by causing the Colors menu item to display both "Edit Colors" and "Edit Known Colors". Can I accomplish this? If so, please provide a citation (or code if preferrred).

• Creating a simple templated control. Having issues...

  Hi, I'm trying to create a really simple templated control. I've never done it before, but I know a lot of my controls I have created in the past would have greatly benefited if I included templating ability - so I'm learning now. The problem I have is that my template is outputted on the page but my property value is not. So all I get is the static text which I include in my template. I must be doing something correctly because the control doesn't cause any errors, so it knows my public property exists. (e.g. if I try to use Container.ThisDoesntExist it throws an exception). I'd appreciate some help on this. I may be just being a complete muppet and missing something. Online tutorials on simple templated server controls seem few and far between, so if you know of one I'd like to know about it. A cut down version of my code is below.   I am new to programming PHP and am trying to validate a field in a form. The field if for a RAL color code and so would look something like : RAL 1001. so the letters RAL and then 4 numbers. • IE image map remains clickable behind another div

  I have an Image Map of the United States. When you click on a state, the map fades out and a map of that state appears with an image map of the area codes in the state. In Firefox, Safari, and Chrome, the state map becomes clickable and the United States map becomes unclickable until you close the sate popover. However in Internet Explorer, the United States map remains clickable through the state popover, and I cannot click on any area codes.   I have a progress bar that is supposed to look like the attached image: And I've made it a long way. I'm very close the only part that isn't working is the rounded corners for the progressDrawable. Here is what mine looks like. (Notice, circled in red, that the fill inside the white outline does not have rounded corners): So, I've found a couple of ways to make this work when the progress bar is colored in with a shape, gradient, or color. BUT, I can't get it with an image as the progressDrawable. • Is there a way to list all the database queries my wordpress install is making for a given event?

  Using a method similar to the one described here: (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/14873/how-do-i-display-database-query-statistics-on-wordpress-site), I can see the total number of queries being made when I load a page. Now I'd like to output a list of the queries that are being made when the page loads. This would allow me to see who my biggest resource hogs are without having to go through the process of elimination of all my plugins and theme scripts. How would I do this? Thanks.

  I'm using jQuery tools for an overlay. Inside the overlay I have an HTML5 video. However, when I close the overlay, the video keeps playing. Any idea how I might get the video to stop when I close the overlay? • Remove the white text shadow from disabled links in IE8

  We are using Ext JS for an application in work, building a custom theme for it. We currently have a dark colour scheme including menus with dark backgrounds. In some of the menus some of the links are disabled at certain points, which all perfectly. However IE8 seems to add a sort of white text shadow, which I am sure is normally fine but as the text is light grey and the background is dark grey the white text shadow makes it look blurry and even makes the other enabled links more disabled as they look darker. Does anyone know of a way to remove the text shadow (I realise it is not css text-shadow as IE does not support it).

• Database Replication OOD Pattern

  Greetings fellow overflowers, After reading on MSDN about correct strategies on how to perform database replication, and understanding their suggestion on Master-Subordinate Incremental Replication. It left me wondering, what OOD design pattern should I use on this... The main elements of this strategy are the Acquirer, the Manipulator and the Writer. The first fetches data from the database and passes on to the second which might perform simple transformations to the data, before handling it to the final element, the writer, that writes the desired data on the destination Database. I thought about using the Chain of Responsibility pattern, but the Acquirer, Manipulator and Writer don't share a common role among theme, so It makes no sense. Should these elements be written as separate classes, or methods inside my service? Of course I'll be creating a DB Helper class as well, but that doesn't constitutes a problem. Wondering what your opinions on this are! Thanks for your replies
