    We are currently distributing a WinForms app without .pdb files to conserve space on client machines and download bandwidth. When we get stack traces, we are getting method names but not line numbers. Is there any way to get the line numbers without resorting to distributing the .pdb files?

  • Visual Web Developer 2008 Express wanting SQL Server 2005 instead of 2008?

    When I double click on an mdf file on Visual Web Developer 2008 (NerdDinner.mdf) it says: Connections to SQL Server files (*.mdf) require SQL Server Express 2005 to function properly. Please verify the installation of the component or download from the URL: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=49251 The URL of course points to SQL Server Express 2008. I have that one installed and running. Any ideas why am I getting that message?

    I have download and installed Visual Studio 2010 RC and I want to develop for the new Windows Phone 7. But when I run the vm_web.exe (that IS the name of the exe file, isn't it?), It still says that I haven't installed Silverlight 4.0 SDK, BUT I have installed the Silverlight SDK. In my control panel's menu, it says I have installed "Microsoft Silverlight 4 Beta SDK".

    I followed these steps: download x-debug*.dll to D:\Program Files\webserver\php\ext\php_xdebug.dll modify php.ini and insert following zend_extension_ts="D:\Program Files\webserver\php\ext\php_xdebug.dll" xdebug.remote_enable=1 xdebug.remote_handler=dbgp xdebug.remote_mode=req xdebug.idekey=default xdebug.remote_autostart=1 restart apache and XDebug is successfully installed. DBGP is installed successfully and configured with 127.0.0.1 but XDebugger is still not connecting/working with notepad++.

  • Squirrelmail receiving duplicate emails

    A client of mine is experiencing issues with his email, it appears that whenever he receives email from a certain domain it comes as duplicates. Not only are they duplicates but the duplicated items have a (+) sign next to them which usually indicates an attachment. Could this be because of a forwarding issue?     Does the .NET Compact Framework have a service pack? If so does anyone know where the redist download is? I found this: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=E3821449-3C6B-42F1-9FD9-0041345B3385&displaylang=en But it is just for 3.5. I think that is current, but I don't want to get burned by setting up older stuff for my devices.
