    I will have publications (news papers), under these publications there will be editions [location and language] and under these there will be offers and offers will have products. currently i have created all as modules i.e. publication to add / edit /delete publication, edition to add / edit/ update editions and so on. the problem is how can i get list of all publication when I am creating a edition and same way how can i get list of edition and publication when i am creating a offer. please help/ regards, saurabh

    I am having a form in which a button is there on click of that button i am calling a javascript function in which i am displaying like 3.. 2.. 1 kind of effect then i am returning true. But after showing 3 only return true is getting executed and the form is getting submitted. How to stop form submitting before running the script. Can someone explain to me whats going on, I think it might be a syntax issue.

I have a few questions: Is this Server-Side Ajax or something similar? If not, can someone clarify what exactly is this? Why does one use this? Is it for hiding the design details? (which are otherwise revealed in plain text by javascript) How difficult would it be to convert my existing application into this design pattern? (maybe a subjective question but any short suggestion will do) Any suggestions?

    Here's another clichéd problem, but I couldn't find an exact match to this. I haven't posted any source here, as you can freely see all that is there on the link. :-) Statement:I have a web page at http://agrimgupta.com/antaragni/ Disclaimer: Pardon me for the pathetic coding on that page. ;-) It was done on a very short interval. Improvements will be done at a later stage. Observation: This page is functioning normally on my localhost on all browsers. Problem: IE 8 is crawling (nearly hanging) while loading this page from the website. Although it is working fine on localhost. When on the website, It fails to render the mouseover effects, doing them in almost what seems like a minute. Question: How to resolve this stuck up of IE? It is necessary to resolve this.     Over at html syntax to display literal string i asked about displaying a literal. When i tried : http://sdrv.ms/1bEsPWz (as the posted sample will not display, i need to show a picture, as i don't have 10 xxx, i can't insert a picture, I am only left with a skydrive reference) In english, the and syntax was tried but it failed to show all content inside the block. It only showed the "is equal to - pre sample " part. I thought - did not care what was inside ? Can some explain how to make a truely literal block display ? I have my reasons why i don't want to have the " syntax in the html. Thanks

    Hello, I've been using Eclipse for some time already, and I didn't have any problems with it. However, when I tried to generate some javadoc, I found that I didn't have the SDK installed. I installed jdk 6u23, and from then on, Eclipse hasn't been working. At first it told me it couldn't find a JRE/SDK. After copying and placing the JRE in the Eclipse folder, the error changed to this: http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/hh261/magical_7/Eclipse.png I've searched around for some solutions, and found a few of varying nature. However, none of them seemed to work. I've tried emptying my eclipse.ini file without success. Altering some values in eclipse.ini didn't work either. Installing Java SDK 1.5 didn't work. Does anyone have other possible solutions? Update: I tried reinstalling Eclipse, but it didn't fix the problem. I did notice that it's a 32bit version, while I'm running a 64bit system. However, if this were to be the problem, I find it strange that it hasn't been an issue earlier.

Model User has_many groups, clients and products. In translation this would be status = User.find(import.user_id).groups.import(import.file.path) status = User.find(import.user_id).clients.import(import.file.path) status = User.find(import.user_id).products.import(import.file.path) I was thinking of import = Import.find(id) status = eval("User.find(#{import.user_id}).#{import.model}").import(import.file.path) but this gives me an error 'TypeError: can't convert nil into String'.   • Stop Entity Framework from updating edmx model with a column that isn't needed

    I have rowguids in all my tables to help with change tracking in all my tables. I don't want/need these tables in my edmx or my entities. However, I do still need to make changes to other things sometimes so everytime i go to update model from database in the edmx it adds all the rowguids in all my tables everytime and i have to manually delete each one. Is there a way to handle this from happening? Is there a way I can maybe edit the T4 to maybe ignore that 'rowguid' column? Database first Entity framework

    I am trying to make a simple animation using JQuery. I have tried adding the script externally(external file) and internally(within script tags). I have testing if the page is recognizing the script using the alert function, but the script is not executing. What I would like is something that is somewhere between a simple text editor and a full-blown IDE like Eclipse. I would like syntax highlighting, a way to see all classes/methods defined in a file, a way to find where a particular method is called from and where a variable is declared/defined. Any ideas? Right now, by default it shows the Name of the business and the address. How can I disable the business link? And then add more text to each search result?
