    I've got the following class: class SelectDateDialog(QDialog): startDate = date.today() endDate = date.today() def __init__(self, text, isInterval = False): QDialog.__init__(self) uic.loadUi("resources/SelectDate.ui", self) Now, the dialog is resizable on Mac OS X 10.5, but it shouldn't be. It has the resize-handle in the lower right corner. I've already tried the setSizeGripEnabled function, it didn't change anything. How can I make it not resizable?

    Hello, I made a Java application which I would like to distribute on Windows, OSX and Linux without distributing a jar file. I used the great Windows exe wrapper http://launch4j.sourceforge.net/ to create an .exe file complete with my icon that won't scare Windows users. Are there similar wrappers that I can use for OSX/Unix? An important consideration is that I would like to have my own icon on the executable (especially for mac users). Thanks!

  • PR_USER_X509_CERTIFICATE extra data

    Hi, I am trying to import an outlook PST file to my application running on Mac OS X. The PST file consists of contacts created in Outlook. The contacts have X509 certificates added to them. The problem I am facing is ASN decoding of the certificate fails. I have read somewhere that there is extra data before and after the certificate referred by PR_USER_X509_CERTIFICATE in the PST file. A few friends and I are thinking of starting a few projects for iPhone, web, Android, etc., and it would be nice to have a public (internet) code repository to use that would work well on any platform (Mac, PC, Linux). Any type of repository is fine (SVN, CVS, Git, etc.). A few ideas are Sourceforge or Google Code. Any recommendations? Thanks

When a user presses a button on the app, I want it to add a certain directory to the environmental $PATH variable on the Mac.     Hi, I'm running a Mac OS X environment and am used to using ~/ to provide the access to the current user's directory. For example, in my python script I'm just trying to use os.chdir("/Users/aaron/Desktop/testdir/") But would like to use os.chdir("~/Desktop/testdir/") I'm getting a no such file or directory error when trying to run this. Any ideas?

    Is there any way to use OpenOffice's PyUNO without using the version of Python that comes with OpenOffice? I mean, can I install a package (on Windows and CentOS) that uses the version of Python that's already on the server? I'm trying to use OpenOffice in headless mode so that I can do document conversion with a script (ultimately on a hosted server running CentOS) but my development work is being done on Windows and occassionally the Mac). I'm having nothing but trouble getting this to work.

    Hi all, In Mac, in skype when we add users to an existing chat, by clicking '+' button on top, a beak like window appears carrying a token field like control. When an user types some name in it and a match is found then a list appears carrying user icon , status icon and his/her name. Also the width of dynamic list is same as beak window.     I am using the Mac OS X Apple Script Editor and (while debugging) instead of writing a lot of display dialog statements, I'd like to write the results of some calculation in the window below, called "Result" (I have the German UI here, so the translation is a guess).
