  • Where should I download corflags.exe from?

    I'm running Windows Server 2008 64-bit "workstation" and would like to get corflags.exe. Which SDK do I need to download? Edit: I know about .NET Framework 2.0 Software Development Kit (SDK) (x64) and Windows SDK for Windows Server 2008 and .NET Framework 3.5 but I was hoping to find something smaller as these are quite large downloads. Also the note about 2.0 SDK seems to suggest to download the 3.5 one, should I follow that?

    So I've been getting into a bit of assembly lately and I'm a beginner so i was wondering if someone could clarify something. I take it every process has it's own set of registers, and each thread can modify these registers right?. How then do multiple threads use the same registers without causing clashes? Or does each thread have its own set of registers?

  • Visual Studio 2010 crashes nearly every time when closing

    Mostly it happens if we open a team project from tfs 2008 or tfs 2010, but crashes can happen any time. When VS is closing down, it crashes nearly every time. Tried trial RTM and our MSDN download - same story. Tried on three different PCs - same issue. Tried on 32 and 64-bit Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 - crashes. Is it just our luck or does it happen to you to?

  • Using zend studio with codeigniter

    I want to use Zend Studio for a project built on CodeIgniter. But I want to be able to use the debugging functionality of Zend. Because of that, I cant seem to get the debugger to work properly cause it doesnt "understand" codeigniter. So, in order for the setup to work, do I need to install Zend server, so that the debugging is done serverside? Can someone explain this to me a bit? Thank you.

  • Overlap problem with Android ListView selector

    I am trying to style my ListView with two 9-patch background images (16px * 9px), one dark image for default state and another green image for selected and pressed state. It works except for just one problem that when I select or press one list item, it seems that the selected item overlap the next one a little bit as I can see some pixels of the green background image is on the top of next item. How to fix that?

    At the 2010 Google IO it was announced that GWT 2.1 would include new Data Presentation Widgets. 2.1M is available for download, and presumably the widgets are included, but no documentation has yet surfaced. Is there a short tutorial or example for how to use them? I've seen a rumor that CellList and CellTable are the classes in question. The Javadoc for them is riddled with lots of TODOs, so quite a bit is still missing in terms of usage.

  • Java: JPQL date function to add a time period to another date

    SELECT x FROM SomeClass WHERE x.dateAtt BETWEEN CURRENT_DATE AND (CURRENT_DATE + 1 MONTH) In the above JPQL statement, SomeClass has a memebr dateAttr, which is a java.util.Date and has a @Temporal(javax.persistence.TemporalType.DATE) annotation. I need a way to do the (CURRENT_DATE + 1 MONTH) bit - it is obviously wrong in its current state - but cannot find the doc with the date function for JPQL. Can anyone point me in the direction of a doc that documents JPQL date functions (and also how to do this particular query)?

    Hi, What's the best way for me to call a WCF Service from within a Quartz .Net job? Is the easiest way to write a separate exe that spins up a WCF proxy and have that exe called from within the job? This seems like it would work but is a bit convoluted.     What are the best algorithms (and explanations) for representing and rotating the pieces of a tetris game? I always find the piece rotation and representation schemes confusing. Is there an elegant way to access the string resources of ASP.NET membership provider to use them in custom controls? Creating for example CreateUserWizard, extracting the resources and throwing away the control seems a little bit rustic to me.

  • Is fckeditor free for use in freelance projects?

    This is more of a licencing issue than a code question. I really like the ckeditor editor and would like to use it in my freelance projects which I do for clients. However upon reading the license page it has me in a bit of a confusion. DO I have to buy licences if I intend to use this in cms websites that I build myself and hand over to clients? If so then what are my alternate options which don't cost anything?

  • Reset VS2010 Project Templates?

    I installed Blend 4 RC recently but strangely it deleted some of my VS2010 projects templates, including the most important ones being Silverlight User Control and Silverlight Application. Does anybody know how to get back these templates or tell VS2010 to reset all templates? A bit frustrating, I'm having to create projects on my laptop then copy them to my desktop manually :(

    Hi, I'm looking for an example Spring MVC 2.5 web app that I can easily: Setup as a project in Eclipse Deploy to a local app server (using Ant/Maven) There are a couple of example applications included with the Spring distribution ('petclinic' and 'jpetstore'), but they don't provide any Eclipse project files (or a way to generate them).     I've successfully got PartCover 2.3 working with VS 2008 on my 64-bit machine. I'm now trying to get it to work with VS 2010 and NUnit 2.5.3. I've got NUnit using the correct CLR version, but I can't get PartCover to produce any output. All I get is an "empty" report XML file: <PartCoverReport date="2010-03-30T16:09:05.1009099+01:00" /> How do I get PartCover 2.3 (or 2.2, I guess) to work with NUnit 2.5.3 on .NET 4.0?

    Some time ago (~4-5months ago) I attented a lecture about JEE and at some point the lecturer started talking about webservices and how hard it is to create a good one because all the IDEs make them in a bit different way (or something like that) and that in general it's better to use Netbeans to create them as Eclipse has some issues, the thing is he didn't really say why Eclipse is bad. Now I'm wondering is what he said true and why, is it really better to use Netbeans for webservices and why?
