  • Linking to an item in another node (XSLT)

    - by Andrew Parisi
I have an XML document with companies listed in it. I want to create a link with XSLT that contains the <link> child of the next node. Sorry if this is confusing..here is some sample XML of what i'm trying to obtain: <portfolio> <company> <name>Dano Industries</name> <link>dano.xml</link> </company> <company> <name>Mike and Co.</name> <link>mike.xml</link> </company> <company> <name>Steve Inc.</name> <link>steve.xml</link> </company> </portfolio> I want two links, "BACK" and "NEXT". While currently on mike.xml, I want BACK to link to "dano.xml" and NEXT linked to "steve.xml"...etc..and have it dynamically change when on a different page based on the nodes around it. I want to do this because I may add and change the list as I go along, so I don't want to have to manually re-link everything. How can I obtain this? Sorry I am new to XSLT, so please explain with solution if possible! Thanks in advance!

  • hundreds of errors in VS2008

    - by Barryman9000
In Visual Studio 2008 I see hundreds of errors within my web app. If I open the offending page(s) within VS, I'll see dozens of items underlined in red - then the errors resolve themselves. Any idea why this happens and how to resolve it?

  • How to avoid using the plld.exe utility in VS2008 (for linking C++ and Prolog codes)

    - by Joshua Green
    Here is my code in its entirety: Trying "listing." at the Prolog prompt that pops up when I run the program confirms that my Prolog source code has been loaded (consulted). #include <iostream> #include <fstream> #include <string> #include <math.h> #include <stdio.h> #include <stdlib.h> #include <stdafx.h> using namespace std; #include "Windows.h" #include "ctype.h" #include "SWI-cpp.h" #include "SWI-Prolog.h" #include "SWI-Stream.h" int main(int argc, char** argv) { argc = 4; argv[0] = "libpl.dll"; argv[1] = "-G32m"; argv[2] = "-L32m"; argv[3] = "-T32m"; PL_initialise(argc, argv); if ( !PL_initialise(argc, argv) ) PL_halt(1); PlCall( "consult(swi('plwin.rc'))" ); PlCall( "consult('hello.pl')" ); PL_halt( PL_toplevel() ? 0 : 1 ); } So this is how to load a Prolog source code (hello.pl) at run time into VS2008 without having to use plld at the VS command prompt.

  • Linking Boost to my C++ project in Eclipse

    - by MahlerFive
I'm trying to get the Boost library working in my C++ projects in Eclipse. I can successfully build when using header-only libraries in Boost such as the example simple program in the "Getting Started" guide using the lambda header. I cannot get my project to successfully link to the regex Boost library as shown later in the guide. Under my project properties - c/c++ build - settings - tool settings tab - libraries, I have added "libboost_regex" to the Libraries box, and "C:\Program Files\boost\boost_1_42_0\bin.v2\libs" to the Library search path box since this is where all the .lib files are. I've even tried adding "libboost_regex-mgw34-mt-d-1_42.lib" to the libraries box instead of "libboost_regex" since that is the exact file name, but this did not work either. I keep getting an error that says "cannot find -llibboost_regex" when I try to build my project. Any ideas as to how I can fix this?

  • ByRef vs ByVal generates errors!?

    - by serhio
ByRef vs ByVal generates errors!? I had a method that used an Object Function Foo(ByRef bar as CustomObject) as Boolean this method generated errors, because some strange .NET Runtime things changed the bar object, causing its Dispose()al. A lot of time spent to understand the thing(where the ... object is changed), until somebody replaced ByRef by ByVal and object wasn't change anymore when passing to this method... Somebody could explain this, what happens?

  • Blogger Code Image linking to post page

    - by Jm Agas
Is this possible to achieve in blogger? My goal is to make Static page images to become clickable and link it to the actual post page. I know its possible by editing each post but I want to make it automatic. For example: In 9gag.com when you click the image from the homepage it will actually link you to the post page. I want to do the same but in blogger. Something like this <b:if cond='data:blog.pageType != &quot;static_page&quot;'><a expr:href='data:post.url'><static page images></a></b:if> Screenshot: http://i.stack.imgur.com/YAWkL.jpg

  • uint8_t and unsigned char linking error

    - by mnn
I'm using template function: template<typename T> void func(const T& value) { obj->func(value); } where obj is object of class: void my_object::func(int64_t value) { ... } void my_object::func(uint64_t value) { ... } void my_object::func(uint32_t value) { ... } void my_object::func(uint16_t value) { ... } void my_object::func(uint8_t value) { ... } The problem is with uint8_t overload of my_object::func() override. Linker complains about unresolved external symbols to overloads, which should have unsigned char parameter. Should I replace uint8_t overload with unsigned char overload? Edit: Just now noticed, that linker complains about uint64_t and int64_t too. I compile on Windows using MSVC++ 2008 Express.

  • Automatically reporting javascript errors to the developer

    - by Cine
As most production environments we have setup something to send us a notification if there is an error in our web application. The problem is ofcourse that this only covers errors on the server side. My question to the community is: What are you doing about client side errors, especially in javascript? And what about other quality of service issues, such as slow processing and other things that might be due to the client machine?

  • Is linking a <div> using javascript acceptable?

    - by jhchawk
I want to link an entire <div>, but CSS2 does not support adding an href to a div (or span for that matter). My solution is to use the onClick property to add a link. Is this acceptable for modern browsers? Example code: <div class="frommage_box" id="about_frommage" onclick="location.href='#';"> <div class="frommage_textbox" id="ft_1"><p>who is Hawk Design?</p></div> My test page is at http://www.designbyhawk.com/pixel. Updated daily. Thanks for the help.

  • Ocamlrun.lib Not Found For Linking

    - by Onorio Catenacci
Hi all, Trying to build the OCaml Win32 API binaries for OCaml 3.11.0 on Win 7 and I consistently get a message when I try nmake dynamic: 'cannot open input file "ocamlrun.lib"'. My google skills seem to be failing me--is there something I need to do to get this .lib file? It doesn't seem to be part of the libraries which are included in the OCaml binary distribution for Windows. Can anyone give me a pointer in the right direction?

  • static const C++ class member initialized gives a duplicate symbol error when linking

    - by Petruza
I have a class which has a static const array, it has to be initialized outside the class: class foo{ static const int array[3]; }; const int foo::array[3] = { 1, 2, 3 }; But then I get a duplicate symbol foo::array in foo.o and main.o foo.o hold the foo class, and main.o holds main() and uses instances of foo. How can I share this static const array between all instances of foo? I mean, that's the idea of a static member.

  • Linking a template class using another template class (error LNK2001)

    - by Luís Guilherme
I implemented the "Strategy" design pattern using an Abstract template class, and two subclasses. Goes like this: template <class T> class Neighbourhood { public: virtual void alter(std::vector<T>& array, int i1, int i2) = 0; }; and template <class T> class Swap : public Neighbourhood<T> { public: virtual void alter(std::vector<T>& array, int i1, int i2); }; There's another subclass, just like this one, and alter is implemented in the cpp file. Ok, fine! Now I declare another method, in another class (including neighbourhood header file, of course), like this: void lSearch(/*parameters*/, Neighbourhood<LotSolutionInformation> nhood); It compiles fine and cleanly. When starting to link, I get the following error: 1>SolverFV.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol "public: virtual void __thiscall lsc::Neighbourhood<class LotSolutionInformation>::alter(class std::vector<class LotSolutionInformation, class std::allocator<class LotSolutionInformation> > &,int, int)" (?alter@?$Neighbourhood@VLotSolutionInformation@@@lsc@@UAEXAAV?$vector@VLotSolutionInformation@@V?$allocator@VLotSolutionInformation@@@std@@@std@@HH@Z)

  • Linking two models in a multi-model form

    - by Elliot
    Hey Guys, I have a nested multimodel form right now, using Users and Profiles. Users has_one profile, and Profile belongs_to Users. When the form is submitted, a new user is created, and a new profile is created, but they are not linked (this is the first obvious issue). The user's model has a profile_id row, and the profile's model has a user_id row. Here is the code for the form: <%= form_for(@user, :url => teams_path) do |f| %> <p><%= f.label :email %><br /> <%= f.text_field :email %></p> <p><%= f.label :password %><br /> <%= f.password_field :password %></p> <p><%= f.label :password_confirmation %><br /> <%= f.password_field :password_confirmation %></p> <%= f.hidden_field :role_id, :value => @role.id %></p> <%= f.hidden_field :company_id, :value => current_user.company_id %></p> <%= fields_for @user.profile do |profile_fields| %> <div class="field"> <%= profile_fields.label :first_name %><br /> <%= profile_fields.text_field :first_name %> </div> <div class="field"> <%= profile_fields.label :last_name %><br /> <%= profile_fields.text_field :last_name %> </div> <% end %> <p><%= f.submit "Sign up" %></p> <% end %> A second issue, is even though the username, and password are successfully created through the form for the user model, the hidden fields (role_id & company_id - which are also links to other models) are not created (even though they are part of the model) - the values are successfully shown in the HTML for those fields however. Any help would be great!

  • QList as a function parameter - Linking Error - LNK2019

    - by user2445136
I have an issue with QList as a function parameter and I'll be glad if you can assist me. I have this code for example: void SpinBoxList_Enable(QList spinBoxList) { foreach(QWidget mWidget,*spinBoxList) mWidget-setEnabled(false); } and in the implemantation file I use the QList variable as a pointer: SpinBoxList_Enable(&controlBoardSpinBoxList); ( controlBoardSpinBoxList is a variable of QList ). The Function ToggleBoards_Slot(bool) is a slot that uses When I compile, I get this error message: 1cmosaixserialnumber.obj : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol "private: void __cdecl CMosaixSerialNumber::SpinBoxList_Disable(class QList *)" (?SpinBoxList_Disable@CMosaixSerialNumber@@AEAAXPEAV?$QList@PEAVQWidget@@@@@Z) referenced in function "public: void __cdecl CMosaixSerialNumber::ToggleBoards_Slot(bool)" (?ToggleBoards_Slot@CMosaixSerialNumber@@QEAAX_N@Z) 1cmosaixserialnumber.obj : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol "private: void __cdecl CMosaixSerialNumber::SpinBoxList_Enable(class QList *)" (?SpinBoxList_Enable@CMosaixSerialNumber@@AEAAXPEAV?$QList@PEAVQWidget@@@@@Z) referenced in function "private: void __cdecl CMosaixSerialNumber::on_ControlBoardCheckBox_StateChanged(int)" (?on_ControlBoardCheckBox_StateChanged@CMosaixSerialNumber@@AEAAXH@Z) How can I fix this ?
