• How to select TreePanel node(Parent/child) in selenium java

  My Application having TreePanel Element and I have to select the root node at the begining to add child node underit. When I try to click on root node using its XPATH String locator = "//div[@id='resultPropertyTree']/div/table/tbody/tr/td"; selenium.clickAt(locator,"0,1"); The entire element is going invisible hence script throwing debug exception saying the element is invisible/not got the focus etc. Can anybody help me out on handling above is appreciated. • CSS: Margin-top when parent's got no border

  Hi, As you can see in this picture, I've got an orange div inside a green div with no top border. The orange div has a 30px top margin, but it's also pushing the green div down. Of course, adding a top border will fix the issue, but I need the green div to be top borderless.   Hi, Could someone please help me with this- I've 2 applications AAA and BBB. The homepage of AAA contains an iFrame which displays the application BBB. When I login to AAA, the same login details should be used to login to BBB(single signon) and on pageload of the homepage of AAA, homepage of BBB should also be loaded in the iFrame. I tried to use javascript to access the form elements of login page of BBB to enter the login data and submit. But the browser gives me a 'Access is denied' error. I did a little reading and came to know that cross- domain communication is not allowed by the browser. Could someone tell me how i can go about achieving this?

When operation A is running (executing B operations) how do i call a specific function/method on operation A when certain event takes place on B operations?   When I access my Search View from my tab bar, the view gets loaded when SearchViewController interface is set like this: @interface SearchViewController : UIViewController but it crashes when I set it like this (although it doesn't crash when it is not accessed through the tab bar): @interface SearchViewController : UITableViewController Why? I need the UITableViewController as I have a table view that I access from the tab bar.

Up until now I believed an <iframe> is completely agnostic to the containing page, but I have seen an example which contradicts this belief. What exactly can and can't be done from within an <iframe> with respect to the containing page?

  Hi, I have an object as follows Public Class Bin Public Property Id As Integer Public Property Name As String Public Property Store As Store End Class Public Class Store Public Property Id As Integer Public Property Bins As IEnumerable(Of Bin) End Class I have a unique constraint in the database on Bin.Name and BinStoreID to ensure unique names within stores. However, when NHibernate persists the store, it first inserts the Bin records with a null StoreID before performing an update later to set the correct StoreID. This violates the Unique Key If I persist two stores with a Bin of the same name because The Name columns are the same and the StoreID is null for both. Is there something I can add to the mapping to ensure that the correct StoreID is included in the INSERT rather than performing an update later? We are using HiLo identity generation so we are not relying on DB generated identity columns Thanks James

  I'm just getting into Factory Girl and I am running into a difficulty that I'm sure should be much easier. I just couldn't twist the documentation into a working example. Assume I have the following models: class League < ActiveRecord::Base has_many :teams end class Team < ActiveRecord::Base belongs_to :league has_many :players end class Player < ActiveRecord::Base belongs_to :team end What I want to do is this: team = Factory.build(:team_with_players) and have it build up a bunch of players for me. I tried this: Factory.define :team_with_players, :class => :team do |t| t.sequence {|n| "team-#{n}" } t.players {|p| 25.times {Factory.build(:player, :team => t)} } end But this fails on the :team=>t section, because t isn't really a Team, it's a Factory::Proxy::Builder. I have to have a team assigned to a player. In some cases I want to build up a League and have it do a similar thing, creating multiple teams with multiple players. What am I missing?

  In my WPF application I have a ListView whose ScrollViewer.VerticalScrollBarVisibility is set to Disabled. It is contained within a ScrollViewer. When I attempt to use the mouse wheel over the ListView, the outer ScrollViewer does not scroll because the ListView is capturing the scroll events. How can I force the ListView to allow the scroll events to bubble up to the ScrollViewer?

• EF Code first + Delete Child Object from Parent?

  I have a one-to-many relationship between my table Case and my other table CaseReplies. I'm using EF Code First and now wants to delete a CaseReply from a Case object, however it seems impossible to do such thing because it just tries to remove the CaseId from the specific CaseReply record and not the record itself.. short: Case just removes the relationship between itself and the CaseReply.. it does not delete the CaseReply.   I have a model called MyContainer, which :has_many MyObjects. I want to delete all the MyObjects in the container without having to delete the MyContainer. My model does have :dependent = :destroy, however I don't want to have to delete and re-create the object because it is slower. • Javascript timer in parent window is cancelled on child window close

  I have a user UserControl on a web page. There is a javascript timer started by the control on the client that causes a web service to be called every few seconds. If the user clicks on the control a new browser window is opened (with window.open() ) to show a different page. Note the onclick returns false so there is no postback to the page. The page displayed in the second window also has a timer that operates in the same way as the first (calls a WebService at intervals). Upto this point everything is fine - each of the timers continue to run in their respective window. However, when I close the second window (either by clicking on the cross of the window or by calling self.close() ) the timer in the first stops. I've no idea why. Is there some relationship between the opener and opened window that I'm missing ?

• I need a way to not rotate a subview when the parent view rotates

  Hello, I have a situation where I have a view, and several subviews, and the view and all but one of its subviews are expected to rotate. The one subview that I don't want to rotate is a UIImageView and the image gets distorted when I rotate so I need it to simply not rotate when the rest of the views components rotate. Does anybody know of a way to achieve this? Is there some excludeFromRotating property I've overlooked? Thanks!

  Hi, I'm using Sketchflow in Expression Blend 4 RC (although this is relevant to Blend 3 too). I have a screen with a datagrid on it (MainScreen) and there's a "New" button. I have a component screen that has a generic form (GenericForm) and a "Save and close" button. I have two states on MainScreen: State1 (and default): GenericForm visibility set to Hidden State2: GenericForm visibility set to Visible The "New" button on MainScreen has: Active State = State2, meaning when the "New" button is pressed, it changes the state of MainScreen to State2 (where the GenericForm component is visible). My problem is that I cannot link the "Save and close" button on GenericForm to State1 on MainScreen. In effect I would like to be able to press "Save and close" and for the MainScreen to set its state to State1. Any ideas?

  I'm working on a Bash shell script that runs several Python scripts like so: cd ${SCRIPT_PATH} python -u ${SCRIPT_NAME} ${SCRIPT_ARGS} >> $JOBLOG 2>&1 At one point, I killed the shell script (using kill PID), but the Python script continued running, even after the script terminated. I thought these would die as soon as the main script died. What am I misunderstanding about Bash scripting, and what can I do to get the functionality I'm looking for? Thanks in advance!

• Keeping WPF grids from getting out of parent bounds

  In my UI, I have a big grid with two columns and one row. in the right column, I have a grid with three rows where in the top row I have a user control, and in the two bottom rows I have two Expander objects, each containing an ItemsControl with a list that gets populated in runtime. Sometimes, that list gets really long and "spills" from the screen towards the bottom. What I want to do is to allow the user to see both expanders, be able to expand or collapse them while keeping them both in sight. I tried wrapping them in WrapPanels or StackPanel but to no avail.   I am using vaadin in combination with navigator7 addon. In header and footer there are spacings between conponents That i would not have. I tried to remove the spacings using setSpacing(false) for header and footer component but it is not working probably becouse of the addon. So i tried to solve this using css.
