    Hi, I want to validate an XML file against RELAXNG schema provided. Searching on the net gave me hints to create a Schema instance using SchemaFactory by providing the appropriate Schema Language. So as per my requirement I used: *SchemaFactory.newInstance(XMLConstants.RELAXNG_NS_URI);* But the following exception was thrown at run: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No SchemaFactory that implements the schema language specified by: http://relaxng.org/ns/structure/1.0 could be loaded at javax.xml.validation.SchemaFactory.newInstance(SchemaFactory.java:207) I am using Java6 and observed that only 'W3C_XML_SCHEMA_NS_URI' works. Rest all the schema URIs throws the similar exception. I am fairly new to using the XML validation APIs. Can someone please provide me the appropriate usage in case I am not doing it correctly?     Hi all, I get a org.hibernate.ObjectNotFoundException when I want to delete an object which doesn't exist anymore via hibernate. I just want this exception to be ignored. I could catch the exception and ignore, this would be a solution maybe. But, since there is a hibernate support for ignoring this exception through org.hibernate.cfg.Configuration#entityNotFoundDelegate, I would like to use its advantage and control it using configuration. The question is then, how can I introduce my own/custom implementation of EntityNotFoundDelegate to the org.hibernate.cfg.Configuration? Does anybody have a sample code for me? Just an additional tip, I use Spring Framework as well in my project.     I'm looking to create an SDL Tridion schema with a list of repeatable links while avoiding multiple fields per link. Hyperlink In a rich text field I have the following options for creating a hyperlink:* Component Anchor http:// mailto: Other When content authors create one of these hyperlinks, they have the option to select linked (visible) text as well as title and target attributes that function like typical HTML hyperlinks. "Richtext" means a Text field with Height of the Text Area = at least 2 rows with Allow Rich Text Formatting selected. Single Schema Field Link When creating a single schema field, I see these options: External Link (author options will include http://, mailto, Other) Multimedia Link Component Link (which can allow Multimedia Values) Current Ideas The best out-of-the-box (OOTB) setups I've found for this "list of links" is either offering: a single 2-line RTF with instructions to create a hyperlink (of any type) in that field separate fields for each type as well as additional fields for display name, target, and title (where the fields are assembled through template code), authors fill in only one of the fields (component link or external) Question Is there a way in the schema form designer, by updating the schema source, or through code to offer the same (RTF) hyperlink drop-down options, but in a single field? I could be missing something, but recognize this scenario isn't supported OOTB.

    I'm new to modeling star schemas, fresh from reading the Data Warehouse Toolkit. I have a business process that has clients and non-clients calling into conference calls with some of our employees. My fact table, call it "Audience", will contain a measure of how long an attending person was connected to the call, and the cost per minute of this person's connection to the call. The grain is "individual connection to the conference call". Should I use my conformed Client dimension and create a non-client dimension (for the callers that are not yet clients) this way (omitting dimensions that are not part of this questions): Or would it be OK/better to have a non-conformed Attending dimension related to the conformed Client dimension in this manner: Or is there a better/standard mechanism to model business processes like this one?

    When I add stored procedures to a linq datacontext, by default visual studio prefixes the stored procedure with the sql schema that it is in. Is there any way to stop this? In our environment, the stored procedures may be moved to other schemas over time, and we will default the schema based on the sql user used to connect. Do I have to do this manually or can I somehow turn off the schema prefixes?

    I'm used to seeing temporary tables created with just the hash/number symbol, like this: CREATE TABLE #Test ( [Id] INT ) However, I've recently come across stored procedure code that specifies the schema name when creating temporary tables, for example: CREATE TABLE [dbo].[#Test] ( [Id] INT ) Is there any reason why you would want to do this? If you're only specifying the user's default schema, does it make any difference? Does this refer to the [dbo] schema in the local database or the tempdb database?

    Perl, Ruby, Python, Javascript / ecmascript, PHP are all similar in the sense of being open source, open documentation, multi-platform, etc. Perl has http://www.perl.org Ruby has http://www.ruby-lang.org Python has http://www.python.org PHP has http://php.net Is there a "home" for javascript in the same sense as these other languages? When I say "home" I mean the go-to place for official documentation, specifications, source code of the language, examples, etc.

    I am writing a new multi-tenant WCF RIA application. I plan to have a shared database with separate SQL Server schema for each tenant. I would like to use NHibernate for object-ralational mapping. Configuration of SQL Server schema in mapping classes doesn't help because it is static and would need one set of mapping classes for each tenant. Is it possible to dynamically configure ISession which SQL Server schema should be used for mapping objects to tables?

  • How to specify schema location in an xsd file?

    I have an xsd file Foo.xsd. I tried following ways to refer it in a WSDL file but it doesnt work. 1) placed the xsd file in local file system and imported it as <xsd:import namespace="http://ws.test.com/" schemaLocation="file:///D:/wsdl/Foo.xsd"></xsd:import> 2) Placed the xsd file in web root folder and imported as <xsd:import namespace="http://ws.test.com/" schemaLocation="http://localhost:8080/Xfire/Foo.xsd"></xsd:import> When I run the client I get null for the fields of response object. But this works when I embed the type definition inside the WSDL itself. How do we specify the path to external xsds? I am using xFire 1.2.6 for generating webservices. Client is generated using xFire WSGen ant task.

    I'm using the Tapestry5 tapx template library to send an html email, as per this example. When I run the example I get the following error: Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: No service implements the interface org.springframework.context.ApplicationContext. at org.apache.tapestry5.ioc.internal.RegistryImpl.getService(RegistryImpl.java:560) at org.apache.tapestry5.ioc.internal.ObjectLocatorImpl.getService(ObjectLocatorImpl.java:44) All the tapestry-* jars, including tapestry-spring-5.1.05.jar are in my classpath. Any clues as to what I'm missing?

  • What would be the best schema to store the 'address' for different entities?

    Suppose we're making a system where we have to store the addrees for buildings, persons, cars, etc. The address 'format' should be something like: State (From a State list) County (From a County List) Street (free text, like '5th Avenue') Number (free text, like 'Chrysler Building, Floor 10, Office No. 10') (Yes I don't live in U.S.A) What would be the best way to store that info: Should I have a Person_Address, Car_Address, ... Or the address info should be in columns on each entity, Could we have just one address table and try to link each row to a different entity? Or are there another 'better' way to handle this type of scenario? How would yo do it?
