    Hey all, I'm working on a project and I'm wondering how to get a type of window common in Windows's wireless controls, as shown in the screen shot below: http://cybernetnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/windows-7-wireless.jpg There's no close or maximize buttons, but the border is still present. My tools include Expression Blend 3 and Visual Studio 08. I was also wondering what the font used on these are, as it doesn't seem to be the normal Tahoma found in Office 7. Thanks, Mason

Erlang looks like much more stable solution but requires much more learning and a lot of diving into functional language paradigm.     I'm using Subversion 1.6 and WebSVN. I'm looking for a simple tool, that would enable me to add custom comments to SVN revisions. So I would be able to see the stream of incoming revisions and mark which of them I already reviewed. An ability to share the comments with other programmers would also be a welcome addition, but it's not necessary. Could you recommend any tools for this?

    I'm looking for an easy way to find the process tree (as shown by tools like Process Explorer), in C# or other .Net language. It would also be useful to find the command-line arguments of another process (the StartInfo on System.Diagnostics.Process seems invalid for process other than the current process). I think these things can only be done by invoking the win32 api, but I'd be happy to be proved wrong. Thanks! Robert

    I’ve installed a local (per-account) PEAR instance on shared web-hosting. After that I’ve installed PHPUnit. It doesn’t work in command-line mode because PHPUnit classes are not under default include_path that is ".:/usr/local/lib/php". The same, I think, would happen with local phing and other command-line tools installed via PEAR. Is there a way to specify per-account include_path value that will contain my local PEAR path "~/pear/php"?

    Are lexers and parsers really that different in theory ? It seems fashionable to hate regular expressions: coding horror, another blog post. However, popular lexing based tools: pygments, geshi, or prettify, all use regular expressions. They seem to lex anything... When is lexing enough, when do you need EBNF ? Has anyone used the tokens produced by these lexers with bison or antlr parser generators?

As a input tool for the editorial team, we use TinyMCE for normal text plus a couple of custom plugins for footnotes and citations. But we are not really happy with TinyMCEs table controls.
