  • Export GridView to TXT, then upload file to server

    Basically what I want to do is export an array (or GridView) to a file called "getpathin.dat". That is easy, but the method I am using downloads the file to my computer, which is what I don't want. I want to write an array to either a PRE-EXISTING file that is on the server OR create a new file on the server in a folder, and this new file will contain either the array or the gridview, which I have stored in the array. i'll be doing this in...     I have a module that builds a form that includes a fieldset. Instead of using the <legend> element to render the fieldset title, I want to place this content in a <div> element instead. But I want to change the behavior only for the form returned by my module, so I don't want to place any new functionality into my theme's template.php file. Instead what happens is that the <fieldset> and <legend> elements are rendered as normal, but with the body of the fieldset replaced by the test message instead, like this: <fieldset> <legend>Basic Account Info</legend> test </fieldset> Why doesn't my #theme function have the chance to replace the entire <fieldset> element? If I wrap a textfield in this function instead, I am able to completely replace the <input> element along with its label. Furthermore, if I provide an override in my site's template.php for theme_fieldset, it works as expected and I am able to completely replace the <fieldset>, so I know it is possible. What's different about providing #theme functions to fieldsets inside a module?

    Hi guys, I'm really new to programming in Obj-C, my background is in labview which is a graphical programming language, I've worked with Visual Basic some and HTML/CSS a fair amount as well. I'm trying to figure out the logic to create an array of data for the pattern below. I need the pattern later to extract data from another 2 arrays in a specific order. I can do it by referencing a = 1, b = 2, c = 3 etc and then creating the array with a, b, c but I want to use a loop so that I don't have 8 references above the array. These references will be used to generate another generation of data so unless I can get help figuring out the logic I'll actually end up with 72 references above the array. // This is the first one which gives the pattern 0 0 0 0 (etc) // 1 1 1 1 // 2 2 2 2 NSMutableArray * expSecondRef_one = [NSMutableArray array]; int a1 = 0; while (a1 < 9) { int a2 = 0; while (a2 < 8) { NSNumber * a3 = [NSNumber numberWithInt:a1]; [expSecondRef_one addObject:a3]; a2++; } a1++; } // This is the second one which I'm stumbling over, I am looking for the pattern 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 // 0 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 // 0 1 3 4 5 6 7 8 // 0 1 2 4 5 6 7 8 // etc to -> // 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 If you run it in a line every 9th number is -1 but I don't know how to do that over a pattern of 8. But what if there are potentially different numbers of values to pass, so I do not know in advance how many I'll want to pass to the function? Any advice?

  • using ajax to post comments in cakephp results in 404 error, but no errors locally?

    Using an ajax helper created for use with Jquery I've created a form that posts comments to "/comments/add", and this works as expected on my local wamp server but not on my production server. On my production server I get a '404 error, cannot find /comments/add'. I've spent quite a bit of time searching for a resolution with no luck so far. I've focused on trying to identify a gap but nothing jumps out at me. I should also point out that I'm using jquery, jquery.form and jquery.editable as well as a ajax helper created to be used with jquery.     I am experimenting with finding popular keywords using curl, php and regular expressions. I have an array of non-specific nouns that I am matching my keyword search up. So I am looking for words like "the", "and", "that" etc. and taking them out of the keyword search. so I have an array of words like so: $wordArr = [the, and, at,....]; and then running something like: && preg_match('(\bmyword\w*\b)', $key) == false how do I combine these two so it loops through the array finding out if any of the words in the array match the regular expression? I guess I could just do a for loop, but though maybe I could use in_array($wordArr, $key).. or something like that.

    I have some class C: class C (...) { ... } I want to use it to index an efficient map. The most efficient map is an Array. So I add a "global" "static" counter in companion object to give each object unique id: object C { var id_counter = 0 } In primary constructor of C, with each creation of C I want to remember global counter value and increase it. Question 1: How to do it? Now I can use id in C objects as perfect hash to index array. But array does not preserve type information like map would, that a given array is indexed by C's id. Question 2: Is it possible to have it with type safety?

    I am using autologin component from http://milesj.me/code/cakephp/auto-login (v 3.5.1). It works on my localhost WAMP server but fails on remote server. First of all cookie is set like this: $this->Cookie->write('key',array('username' => 'someusername', 'hash' => 'somehash', ...) ); Then it's readed like this: $cookie = $this->Cookie->read('key'); On my WAMP server $cookie is array('username' => 'someusername', 'hash' => 'somehash', ...) and on remote server returned $cookie is string(159) "{\"username\":\"YWxlay5iYXJzsdsdZXdza2ldssd21haWwuY29t\",\"password\":\"YWxlazc3ODEy\",\"hash\":\"aa15bffff9ca12cdcgfgb351d8bfg2f370bf458\",\"time\":1339923926}" and it should be: array( 'username' => "YWxlay5iYXJzsdsdZXdza2ldssd21haWwuY29t", 'password' => "YWxlazc3ODEy", ...) Why the retuned cookie is string not array?

    In goofing around with some F# (via MonoDevelop), I have written a routine which lists files in a directory with one thread: let rec loop (path:string) = Array.append ( path |> Directory.GetFiles ) ( path |> Directory.GetDirectories |> Array.map loop |> Array.concat ) And then an asynchronous version of it: let rec loopPar (path:string) = Array.append ( path |> Directory.GetFiles ) ( let paths = path |> Directory.GetDirectories if paths <> [||] then [| for p in paths -> async { return (loopPar p) } |] |> Async.Parallel |> Async.RunSynchronously |> Array.concat else [||] ) On small directories, the asynchronous version works fine. On bigger directories (e.g. many thousands of directories and files), the asynchronous version seems to hang. What am I missing? I know that creating thousands of threads is never going to be the most efficient solution -- I only have 8 CPUs -- but I am baffled that for larger directories the asynchronous function just doesn't respond (even after a half hour). It doesn't visibly fail, though, which baffles me. Is there a thread pool which is exhausted? How do these threads actually work?

In my SearchTableViewController I have the following two methods: - (BOOL)searchDisplayController:(UISearchDisplayController *)controller shouldReloadTableForSearchString:(NSString *)searchString { // Tell the table data source to reload when text changes [self filterContentForSearchText:searchString]; // Return YES to cause the search result table view to be reloaded. return YES; } // Update the filtered array based on the search text -(void)filterContentForSearchText:(NSString*)searchText { // Remove all objects from the filtered search array [self.filteredLocationsArray removeAllObjects]; NSPredicate *predicate = [CoreDataMaster predicateForLocationUsingSearchText:@"Limerick"]; CoreDataMaster *coreDataMaster = [[CoreDataMaster alloc] init]; // Filter the array using NSPredicate self.filteredLocationsArray = [NSMutableArray arrayWithArray: [coreDataMaster fetchResultsFromCoreDataEntity:@"City" UsingPredicate:predicate]]; } You can probably guess that my problem is with returning the array from [coreDataMaster fetchResultsFromCoreDataEntity]. I've tried added a NSNotification which passes the NSDictionary to this method: - (void)updateSearchResults:(NSNotification *)notification { NSDictionary *userInfo = notification.userInfo; NSArray *array = [userInfo objectForKey:@"results"]; self.filteredLocationsArray = [NSMutableArray arrayWithArray:array]; [self.tableView reloadData]; } I've also tried refreshing the searchViewController like [self.searchDisplayController.searchResultsTableView reloadData]; but to no avail. I'd really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction and show me where I might be going wrong. Thanks

  • PHP: Extending static member arrays

    I'm having the following scenario: class A { public static $arr=array(1,2); } class B extends A { public static $arr=array(3,4); } Is there any way to combine these 2 arrays so B::$arr is 1,2,3,4? I don't need to alter these arrays, but I can't declare them als const, as PHP doesn't allow const arrays.http://stackoverflow.com/questions/ask The PHP manual states, that I can only assign strings and constants, so parent::$arr + array(1,2) won't work, but I think it should be possible to do this.
