  • Google Web Toolkit in eclipse randomly requires me to reset GWT SDK

    I downloaded and install the latest version of Google App Engine Plugin into my Eclipse and created a project with it using both GAE SDK and GWT SDK. The funny thing is, randomly, my project become subjective to error, like the class RemoteServiceServlet cannot be resolved. The errors will be removed if I go to the configure tab of the project and change the GWT SDK from Default to Specific version (or vice versa). Has anyone ever encountered the same error? What the heck is it?

    May i inquire more knowledge on marshaling and unmarshaling of kml codes? Regarding those used in Google earth. I need to do a project on flight airlines, linking them with an arc which is a polygon to connect placemarks with placemarks. I've tried to compile sample codes of HelloKML but still unable to marshal and produce the kml codes itself. Please someone explain marshaling and unmarshaling of codes and producing of kml codes.     When I look at the example of the user extensions of GWT-Ext I saw the Spinner as a user extension: http://www.gwt-ext.com/demo-ux/#spinner When I download the library from http://code.google.com/p/gwt-ext-ux/downloads/list (I downloaded the latest build -- 0.3.0) it does not appear to contain the Spinner class. Can anyone point me in the right direction for how to use it?

    Actually I want to serialize my data using Google's java implementation and then deserialize using C# implementation? I have chosen portobuf-net as it seems to be more stable (porto# is still v0.9 or I would have gone for it). Before I start working on it I wanted to be sure that I can achieve this (serializing data using java implementation and deserializing it using potobuf-net). Or is there any list of methods that are specific to portobuf-net implementation?

    I've got a wordpress plugin which presets several settings in a wordpress site and creates some default pages which are the same for all my sites. I would like to include an html file in my plugin zip package that is placed into the site's root directory "as is" (same file name, etc) The file is my google verification file, which is the same for all my sites, so I'd like to save a few steps and automate the process of installing it, along with my default setup steps that my plugin handles. Any help, much appreciated.
