    I have RHEL 5 lan server with squid 2.6 stable proxy settings, Under this have some windows xp desktops Now i installed filezilla ftp client in windows xp, for give services to my client's websites But i can't connect ftp servers throw filezilla , I set generic proxy too. ( HTTP/1.1 USING CONNECT method ) I get error message like this, Status: Connecting to (ftp hostname) through proxy Status: Connecting to hostname:port... Status: Connection with proxy established, performing handshake... Response: Proxy reply: HTTP/1.0 403 Forbidden How can i solve this problem ?

  • OpenLDAP with StartTLS broken on Debian Lenny

    I'm trying to get OpenLDAP on Lenny to work with StartTLS. I have a Fedora 13 machine which I'm using as a client for testing. So far the Fedora client is ignoring the 'host' directive in /etc/ldap.conf when I try to connect using ldapsearch. The client wants to connect to 127.0.0.1:389 even if I specify -H ldaps://server.name on when using ldapsearch. /etc/ldap.conf on the client machine is in mode 444. But even when I try connecting locally from an ssh session, I see errors like this: ldap_sasl_interactive_bind_s: Can't contact LDAP server (-1) Someone hit me with a cluebat, plz. Update: you must use ~/.ldaprc for settings such as 'host'. Also, I just used nmap against the ldap server and it showed 636 and 389 in an open state.   • Com port redirection from Windows 7 to Windows Server 2008 R2

    We use "Copy file.prn to \tsclient\com1" to print from a TS session to a locally attached serial printer. This works fine from Windows XP, but when trying it from a Windows 7 client computer, we get an "Access is denied" error message. And yes, the check box of COM port is selected on the Local Resources tab of the Remote Desktop Connection client. Any pointers? Has anyone even managed to do this successfully?

  • Read/Select:Connection reset by peer (10054) during remote logoff in RealVNC

    I am using RealVNC 4.5 Enterprise on my Windows 7 client. I use this to connect to a remote system which is also running RealVNC 4.5 (on Windows 7 again). And then i logoff the remote system (server) and all of a sudden the realvnc viewer on the client closes with the message : "Read/Select:Connection reset by peer (10054)" It also asks if i want to reconnect again. Any idea why this is happening and how do i resolve this?

Now we need to have a good editor on the Windows machine which will work out of the box in this scenario. I do not have any experience with this, so I do not know where to start. Suggestions?

    Using Synergy-plus-1.3.4 on Gentoo Linux kernel 2.6.36-tuxonice-r3. Using SHIFT+CAPS to change keyboard layout on BOTH server and client boxes. Works perfectly if change layout using attached keyboard. But when using synergy keyboard (moved mouse from server screen to client and changing with SHIFT+CAPS) it has no effect. Synergy is just amazing thing exception this small issue which I'm assured is solvable. Please, gimme some hint.

    When working from Windows, I prefer to use RoyalTS instead of the default Microsoft RDP client, because it allows me to save multiple connections, the credentials of the connection, etc; as well has having more than 1 connection open at a time. Is there a similar (or any) alternative to the Microsoft RDP client for connecting from OSX to Windows? Aside from VNC, that is; at this point I'm hoping to continue using the RDP protocol.

  • Tortoise won't display Status Icons

    I updated my Tortoise SVN client today to TortoiseSVN 1.6.8, Build 19260 - 32 Bit , 2010/04/16 20:20:11 Subversion 1.6.11, apr 1.3.8 apr-utils 1.3.9 neon 0.29.3 OpenSSL 0.9.8k 25 Mar 2009 zlib 1.2.3 However, I now don't see any Status icons for any folders/files. The client still works as expected but it is a bit frustrating to not see a visual status. Has anyone else had this issue?

    Heres the scenario, im on a network A, and i use a vpn client to connect network B to access the webservice which can be accessed in network B.Even though im connect to network B , im unable to access the webservice link.Do i need to configure any settings. But if u r originally in network B and even though if u have connected to network A using vpn client, im able to access the webservice link. But the other way isnt working.

Currently, it works as follows: The client requests /index.php?test=value The server invokes php index.php The server feeds the HTTP request headers as STDIN to the PHP process The server reads the output of php from STDOUT and returns it to the client All of this is working except that the parameters are not being passed to the PHP script because: var_dump($_GET); returns: array(0) { } How do $_GET parameters get passed to the PHP binary when it is invoked?
