Android edtftpj/PRo SFTP heap worker problem

Hi I am using edtftpj-pro3.1 trial copy in my android app to make SFTP connection with the server. After few connections with the server with 5-6 file transfers, my app is crashing with following exception. Is it causing the problem or what could be the problem?? I tried setParallelMode(false) in SSHFTPClient, but it is not working. How and where to implement basic authentication in Kibana 3

I have put my elasticsearch server behind a Apache reverse proxy that provides basic authentication. Authenticating to Apache directly from the browser works fine. However, when I use Kibana 3 to access the server, I receive authentication errors. Obviously because no auth headers are sent along with Kibana's Ajax calls. I added the below to elastic-angular-client.js in the Kibana vendor directory to implement authentication quick and dirty. There are quite a few posts available regarding that topic but it appears that in order to solve my problem, it would be necessary to to make some very granular configurations on apache and also make sure that the right stuff is sent from the browser. So I reconsidered the strategy and found a much simpler solution. Just modify the vhost reverse proxy config to move the elastisearch server AND kibana on the same http port. This also adds even better security to Kibana. spring mvc 3.0 small web application not quite working

Hi, i'm creating a very simple (hello World quality) web application using spring mvc 3.0. when deploying the application on tomcat 6.0.26 and i try to open http://localhost:8080/protoweb/helloWorld.html i get 404, resource /protoweb/WEB-INF/jsp/helloWorld.jsp is not available. Neo4j Windows Plugin Installation desktop V2.M06

I have downloaded and installed the latest Window V2 Community M06 build of Neo4j on a windows 7 64 bit machine (I have tried the 32bit and 64 bit installs). Installation proceeds without and problems and the system runs normally but there is no /plugins directory (on both versions):- \Program Files (x86)\Neo4j Community\ \Program Files (x86)\Neo4j Community\.install4j \Program Files (x86)\Neo4j Community\bin I am trying to install the Spatial plugin .. so I tried creating the \plugins directory. To start a WLP server as a Windows service it is simplest to make your own script based on the provided standard script located at WL_HOME\server\bin\installSvc.cmd. The standard script works fine for a plain WLS domain, but lacks some classpath and options necessary for WLP.Start by making a copy of the installSvc.cmd script and naming it something specific to your domain.Next, just under SETLOCAL you will find where WL_HOME is defined. Here you will add the definitions you would normally add in a script that later calls installSvc.cmd (as per the standard documentation). set DOMAIN_NAME=gnma_test_domainset USERDOMAIN_HOME=D:\my_test_domainset SERVER_NAME=AdminServerset WLS_USER=weblogicset WLS_PW=gnmaAdmin01set PRODUCTION_MODE=trueset MEM_ARGS=-Xms512m –Xmx512mset MW_HOME=C:\Oracle\Middleware Note: I had heard of people using this approach who had issues with the length of the command line. Now I have for some time been tracking some strange 503 errors. But I cant seem to find the silver bullet. Can't deploy rails 4 app on Bluehost with Passenger 4 and nginx

I am at Bluehost (dedicated server) trying to run a rails 4 app. I asked to have my server re-imaged, specifying that I do not want rails, ruby, or passenger install automatically as I wanted to install the latest versions myself using a version manager (Bluehost by default offers rails 2.3, ruby 1.8, and passenger 3, which won't work with my app). I installed ruby 1.9.3p327, rails 4.0.0, and passenger 4.0.5. I can verify this by typing, "ruby -v", "rails -v", and "passenger -v" (also "gem -v"). I made sure to install these not as root, so that I don't get a 403 forbidden error when trying to deploy the app. I installed passenger by typing "gem install passenger", and then installed the nginx passenger module (into "/nginx") with "passenger-install-nginx-module". I am trying to run my rails app on a subdomain, http://development.thegraduate.hk (I am using the subdomain to show my client progress on the website). In bluehost I created that subdomain, and had it point to "public_html/thegraduate". I then created a symlink from "rails_apps/thegraduate/public" to "public_html/thegraduate" and verified that the symlink exists. The problem is: when I go to http://development.thegraduate.hk, I get a directory listing. There is nothing resembling a rails app. I have not added a .htaccess file to /rails_apps/thegraduate/public, as that was never specified in the installation of passenger. It was meant to be 'install and go'. When I type "passenger-memory-status", I get 3 things: - Apache processes (7) - Nginx processes (0) - Passenger processes (0) So it appears that nginx and passenger are not running, and I can't figure out how to get it to run (I'm not looking to have it run as a standalone server). NetBeans generates JpaController with errors

Hi, I am using NetBeans 6.8 for building Spring MVC application. Techonologies : Spring MVC 2.5 Derby DB Hibernate for ORM GlassFish v3 server I use New JPA Controller Classes from Entity Classes for adding ORM file. It is supposed to generate class for managing queries with my POJO files. Ubuntu 9.10 and Squid 2.7 Transparent Proxy TCP_DENIED

Hi, We've spent the last two days trying to get squid 2.7 to work with ubuntu 9.10. The computer running ubuntu has two network interfaces: eth0 and eth1 with dhcp running on eth1. Both interfaces have static ip's, eth0 is connected to the Internet and eth1 is connected to our LAN. We have followed literally dozens of different tutorials with no success. Installed Perl DBI Module Can't Be Found

I'm trying to setup a Perl development environment on my Mac laptop and have been having a really hard time getting it working. I thought I had everything configured correctly but when I try to run a sample script it is reporting errors with the DBI module and can't access the DB. Here is what is reported in the Apache error logs: [Fri Apr 30 23:11:33 2010] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] Can't locate DBI.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /Library/Perl/Updates/5.10.0/darwin-thread-multi-2level /Library/Perl/Updates/5.10.0 /System/Library/Perl/5.10.0/darwin-thread-multi-2level /System/Library/Perl/5.10.0 /Library/Perl/5.10.0/darwin-thread-multi-2level /Library/Perl/5.10.0 /Network/Library/Perl/5.10.0/darwin-thread-multi-2level /Network/Library/Perl/5.10.0 /Network/Library/Perl /System/Library/Perl/Extras/5.10.0/darwin-thread-multi-2level /System/Library/Perl/Extras/5.10.0 .) at main.pm line 5. Is there an "embedded DBMS" to support multiple writer applications (processes) on the same db files

I need to know if there is any embedded DBMS (preferably in Java and not necessarily relational) which supports multiple writer applications (processes) on the same set of db files. BerkeleyDB supports multiple readers but just one writer. I need multiple writers and multiple readers. UPDATE: It is not a multiple connection issue. I mean I do not need multiple connections to a running DBMS application (process) to write data. I need multiple DBMS applications (processes) to commit on the same storage files. HSQLDB, H2, JavaDB (Derby) and MongoDB do not support this feature. I think that there may be some File System limitations that prohibit this. If so, is there a File System that allows multiple writers on a single file? Use Case: The use case is a high-throughput clustered system that intends to store its high-volume business log entries into a SAN storage. Storing business logs in separate files for each server does not fit because query and indexing capabilities are needed on the whole biz logs. Because "a SAN typically is its own network of storage devices that are generally not accessible through the regular network by regular devices", I want to use SAN network bandwidth for logging while cluster LAN bandwidth is being used for other server to server and client to server communications.

GlassFish can't find persistence provider for EntityManager

Hi, I am building Spring MVC project (2.5). It runs on GlassFish v3 server and I am using Hibernate for ORM mapping from Derby database. I am having trouble with deployment - GlassFish says : No Persistence provider for EntityManager named mvcspringPU. I'm having issues with getting DBI's IBM DB2 driver to work with mod_perl. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm having no luck with google. Update: As james2vegas pointed out, the problem has something to do with PHP: I disable PHP all together I get the a different error: Total Environment allocation failure! Did you set up your DB2 client environment? I believe this error is to do with environment variables not being set up correctly, namely DB2INSTANCE. However, I'm not able to turn off PHP to resolve this problem (I need it for some legacy applications). So I now have 2 questions: How can I fix the original issue without disabling PHP all together? How can I fix the environment issue? I've set DB2INSTANCE, DB2_PATH and SQLLIB variables correctly using SetEnv and PerlSetEnv in httpd.conf, but with no luck. Note: I've edited the code to determine if the problem was to do with Global Variable Persistence.

A week ago, the WAR file produced by Rational Application Developer could be installed on the Portal server with no problems. Explanation: A portlet application containing legacy portlets can only be updated with another portlet application that contains legacy portlets. The same is true for standard portlet applications. User Response: Modify the portlet.xml of the application such that it matches the original API type, standard or legacy and try again. However, the "portlet.xml" file has not changed in about a month, and I've done several WAR updates for this application in that time with no problems. The problem seems to be caused by the code changes I did yesterday, but I have no clue why a few lines of code would do this. Any ideas?

Execute SQL on CSV files via JDBC

Dear all, I need to apply an SQL query to CSV files (comma-separated text files). My SQL is predefined from another tool, and is not eligible to change. It may contain embedded selects and table aliases in the FROM part. For my task I have found two open-source (this is a project requirement) libraries that provide JDBC drivers: CsvJdbc XlSQL JBoss Teiid Create an Apache Derby DB, load all CSVs as tables and execute the query. These are the problems I encountered: it does not accept the syntax of the SQL (it uses internal selects and table aliases). Furthermore, it has not been maintained since 2004. I could not get it to work, as it has as dependency a SAX Parser that causes exception when parsing other documents. Similarly, no change since 2004. Have not checked if it supports the syntax, but seems like an overhead. It needs several entities defines (Virtual Databases, Bindings). From the mailing list they told me that last release supports runtime creation of required objects. Has anyone used it for such simple task (normally it can connect to several types of data, like CSV, XML or other DBS and create a virtual, unified one)? Can this even be done easily? From the 4 things I considered/tried, only 3 and 4 seem to me viable. Any advice on these, or any other way in which I can query my CSV files? Cheers

How do I get my snapshots in Nexus to appear in the m2eclipse dependency search?

Hi, I've been working through the Nexus guide this weekend and I've got everything set up, to the point that I can publish a snapshot to my local nexus install. I can't seem to work out how to get m2eclipse to see the snapshot and offer it as an option in the Add Dependencies search panel. How do I do that? Thanks! PreparedStatement question in Java against Oracle.

Hi everyone, I'm working on the modification of some code to use preparedStatement instead of normal Statement, for security and performance reason. Our application is currently storing information into an embedded derby database, but we are going to move soon to Oracle. I've found two things that I need your help guys about Oracle and Prepared Statement : 1- I've found this document saying that Oracle doesn't handle bind parameters into IN clauses, so we cannot supply a query like : Select pokemon from pokemonTable where capacity in (?,?,?,?) Is that true ? Is there any workaround ? ... Why ? 2- We have some fields which are of type TIMESTAMP. So with our actual Statement, the query looks like this : Select raichu from pokemonTable where evolution = TO_TIMESTAMP('2500-12-31 00:00:00.000', 'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS.FF') What should be done for a prepared Statement ? Should I put into the array of parameters : 2500-12-31 or TO_TIMESTAMP('2500-12-31 00:00:00.000', 'YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS.FF') ? Thanks for your help, I hope my questions are clear ! Regards,

How to figure out which record has been deleted in an effiecient way?

Hi, I am working on an in-house ETL solution, from db1 (Oracle) to db2 (Sybase). We needs to transfer data incrementally (Change Data Capture?) into db2. I have only read access to tables, so I can't create any table or trigger in Oracle db1. The challenge I am facing is, how to detect record deletion in Oracle? The solution which I can think of, is by using additional standalone/embedded db (e.g. derby, h2 etc). This db contains 2 tables, namely old_data, new_data. old_data contains primary key field from tahle of interest in Oracle. Every time ETL process runs, new_data table will be populated with primary key field from Oracle table. After that, I will run the following sql command to get the deleted rows: SELECT old_data.id FROM old_data WHERE old_data.id NOT IN (SELECT new_data.id FROM new_data) I think this will be a very expensive operation when the volume of data become very large. Do you have any better idea of doing this? Thanks.

Table not created by Hibernate

I annotated a bunch of POJO's so JPA can use them to create tables in Hibernate. It appears that all of the tables are created except one very central table called "Revision". The Revision class has an @Entity(name="RevisionT") annotation so it will be renamed to RevisionT so there is not a conflict with any reserved words in MySQL (the target database). I delete the entire database, recreate it and basically open and close a JPA session. All the tables seem to get recreated without a problem. Why would a single table be missing from the created schema? What instrumentation can be used to see what Hibernate is producing and which errors? Thanks. UPDATE: I tried to create as a Derby DB and it was successful. However, one of the fields has a a name of "index". I use @org.hibernate.annotations.IndexColumn to specify the name to something other than a reserved word. However, the column is always called "index" when it is created. Here's a sample of the suspect annotations. @ManyToOne @JoinColumn(name="MasterTopID") @IndexColumn(name="Cx3tHApe") protected MasterTop masterTop; Instead of creating MasterTop.Cx3tHApe as a field, it creates MasterTop.Index. Why is the name ignored?
