  • PHP, display image with Header()

    I'm displaying images from outside my web root, like this: header('Content-type:image/png'); readfile($fullpath); The content-type: image/png is what confuses me. Someone else helped me out with this code, but I noticed that not all images are PNG. Many are jpg or gif. And still they are displayed successfully. does anyone know why?

    What am I doing wrong with this: $sql = "SELECT * FROM content WHERE threadName LIKE '%$filter%' ORDER BY lastUpdated desc UNION SELECT * FROM content WHERE threadName NOT LIKE '%$filter%' ORDER BY lastUpdated desc"; The first statement before the UNION works well on its own, but this one above returns: mysql_fetch_array() warning - supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource Am I right in believing that UNION will not return duplicate entries, in which case the second SELECT statement doesn't need to have the NOT LIKE but will just return everything that wasn't listed in the first statement.

    Hi All, I had some fairly simple code in my app to invoke Edit Contact activity on a known good contact index that worked in Android 1.6 but is broken for me now in Android 2.1 on the Droid. The idea is to download the keys and store them using the DPAPI but I'm having trouble with the entropy parameter.     I've used CCK to create a 'Travel Offer' content-type which basically just lists the details for a travel package. My question is how to have a button or link on each node (when the user views it) that will link to a url that includes the title of the current node (eg: example.com/requestQuote/Title_Of_This_Node). I haven't implemented my system yet so I am free to change the content-type to include a button field or something like that...

The "problem" with the sitemesh approach is that it AFIK it does not have any relationship to the ActionInvocation, and I would like to be able to query information from the ActionInvocation when determining which content to add. I have looked through the ServletDispatcherResult, and I'm not entirly sure what's the best way to achieve this. Any suggestions ?
