  • PHP Form POST to external URL with Redirect to another URL

    So, what I am trying to accomplish is have a self-posting PHP form, POST to an external page (using CURL) which in turn redirects to another page. Currently, what is happening is that once I click "Submit" on the form (in contact.php) it will POST to itself (as it is a self-posting form). The script then prepares the POST using CURL and performs the post. The external page does its processing and then, the external page is supposed to redirect back to another page, in a referring domain. However, what happens instead, is that it seems like the contact.php page loads the HTML from the page the external page redirected to, and then, the contact.php's HTML loads after that, ON THE SAME PAGE. The effect, is what looks like two separate pages rendered as one page. Naturally, I just want to perform the POST and have the browser render the page it is supposed to redirect to as specified by the external page.   • How do I create a partial function with generics in scala?

    Hello. I'm trying to write a performance measurements library for Scala. My idea is to transparently 'mark' sections so that the execution time can be collected. Unfortunately I wasn't able to bend the compiler to my will. I use mkTimer like this: val myTimer = mkTimer('aTimer) val myString= myTimer { (1 to 100000).mkString("-") } println (myString) But I get a compiler error: error: type mismatch; found : String required: () => Nothing (1 to 100000).mkString("-") I get the same error if I inline the currying: val timerBigString = time('timerBigString) _ val bigString = timerBigString { (1 to 100000).mkString("-") } println (bigString) This works if I do val timerBigString = time('timerBigString) (_: String), but this is not what I want. I'd like to defer typing of the partially applied function until application. I conclude that the compiler is deciding the return type of the partial function when I first create it, chosing "Nothing" because it can't make a better informed choice. So I guess what I'm looking for is a sort of late-binding of the partially applied function. Is there any way to do this? Or maybe is there a completely different path I could follow? I am wondering if there is a way to make boxtypeA.part.dosomething() to call TypeA's method not Part's or TypeB's.   • Cooling for a small server room

    I have a server room about 12 feet square with an unfinished ceiling (exposed ducts and wiring). It houses a few servers (about ten, 1U and 2U) and some networking gear (four 1U switches, three routers, three modems, two cable boxes). With the door closed, it runs around 80 degrees Fahrenheit with half the servers turned on. When I turned on all the servers it reached 86 before I chickened out and propped the door open. The room is adjacent to air-conditioned office space, but does not itself have dedicated air conditioning. The ventilation for this room seems to be limited to one duct coming in at ceiling level, with a powered fan to draw air in, and one duct at ceiling level to allow air to flow out (it seems like it may just go into the drop ceiling cavity in the adjacent room). The adjacent office space stays fairly cool, but I'd prefer not to leave the door propped open all the time. There is both 110v and 208v service in the room, and plenty of power available. But there are no windows, and no floor drains (in a pinch we might be able to run a condensation hose through a small hole we'd drill in the wall to a nearby sink area, but only if absolutely necessary). I've considered portable A/C units, but I'm not sure on sizing and a lot less sure how we would run the exhaust hose(s). I suppose we could point one at the existing room exhaust duct (air return), but substantially modifying the duct is probably a no-no. I've also considered installing a fan box in the door of the room, but I'm concerned that this will only drop the temperature a little. Even right now, with all the equipment on, the room is at 83 degrees with the door open. And the main building A/C turns off daily at 6 PM to conserve energy, so the adjacent room temperature rises at night. How would you cool this room? Let's say the goal is to bring the temperature with everything running from a steady state of around 90 degrees down to 75 (equivalently, to offset the heat produced by ten 1U servers).

    I have been messing around with a way to justify align a collection of UIView subclasses within a containing view. I am having a little bit of trouble with the algorithm and was hoping someone could help spot my errors.   • Count warnings in Python 2.4

    I've got some tests that need to count the number of warnings raised by a function. In Python 2.6 this is simple, using with warnings.catch_warnings(record=True) as warn: ... self.assertEquals(len(warn), 2) Unfortunately, with is not available in Python 2.4, so what else could I use? I can't simply check if there's been a single warning (using warning filter with action='error' and try/catch), because the number of warnings is significant.

  • Intermittent fillMode=kCAFillModeForwards bug using CAKeyframeAnimation with path

    I'm having an intermittent problem when I move a UIImageView around the screen using CAKeyframeAnimation. I want the position of the UIImageView to remain where the animation ends when it is done. This bug only happens for certain start and end points. When I use random points it works correctly most of the time, but about 5-15% of the time it fails and snaps back to the pre-animation position. The problem only appears when using CAKeyframeAnimation using the path property. If I use the values property the bug does not appear. I am setting removedOnCompletion = NO, and fillMode = kCAFillModeForwards. I have posted a link to a test Xcode below. Here is my code for setting up the animation. I have a property usePath. When this is YES, the bug appears. When I set usePath to NO, the snap back bug does not happen. When usePath is NO, you will not see the snap back bug. I'm using SDK 3.1.3, but I have seen this bug using SDK 3.0 as well, and I have seen the bug on the Sim and on my iPhone. Is there any streamlined process in .NET to programmatically generate those certificates? I can, of course, keep spawning makecert or openssl, but I was looking for more programmatic, in-memory method, when you just get X509Certificate on output. (OS 5)Access is denied. : Init: Can't open server certificate file C:/Program Files (x86)/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/conf/cert.pem I checked the permissions for cert.pem and it indicates: All the permissions (Full control, Read, Read and modify, execute, Write) are marked for Admin and I am currently logged in as Admin. I tried using oldcert.pem and oldkey.pem on the same server and it works fine. Is there anything that I missed?

  • How to handle float values in a plist

    I'm reading in a plist from a web server, generated with some php. When I read that into an NSArray in my iphone app, and then spit the NSArray out with NSLog to check it out, I see that the float values are treated as strings. I would like the "distance" values to be treated as numeric and not strings. This plist is displayed in a table view where it can be sorted by distance, but the problem is is distance is sorted as a string, so I get some funny sorting results. Can I convert the distance values to float from string in the NSArray? Or maybe theres a simpler solution like tweaking the plist definition, or maybe something in the NSMutableURLRequest code?
