  • Batch break up after call other batch file

    - by Sven Arno Jopen
    i have the problem, that my batch process breaking up each time after call a other batch file. The batch files are used to run a make process out from IBM Rhapsody. There convert the call from Rhapsody to the Visual Studio tools. So nmake will be called from the batch after make different settings. The scripts aren’t written completely from me, I only adapt theme to run under both windows architecture versions, x86 and x64. The first script (vs2005_make.bat) will be called from Rhapsody and run to the “call” statement. The second script (Vcvars_VisualStudio2005.bat) runs to the end. But the first script isn’t resume working, at this point the process break up without a error message. I'm not very familiar with batch files, this is the first time I make more than simple console commands in a batch file. So I hope I have given all information’s which needed, otherwise ask me. Here the start script (vs2005_make.bat): :: parameter 1 - Makefile which should be used :: parameter 2 - The make target mark @echo off IF "%2"=="" set target=all IF "%2"=="all" set target=all IF "%2"=="build" set target=all IF "%2"=="rebuild" set target=clean all IF "%2"=="clean" set target=clean set RegQry="HKLM\Hardware\Description\System\CentralProcessor\0" REG.exe Query %RegQry% > checkOS.txt Find /i "x86" < CheckOS.txt > StringCheck.txt IF %ERRORLEVEL%==0 ( set arch=x86 ) ELSE ( set arch=x64 ) call "%ProgramFiles%\IBM\Rhapsody752\Share\etc\Vcvars_VisualStudio2005.bat" %arch% IF %ERRORLEVEL%==0 ( set makeflags= nmake /nologo /S /F %1 %target% ) del checkOS.txt del StringCheck.txt exit and here the called script (Vcvars_VisualStudio2005.bat): :: param 1 - Processor architecture @echo off ECHO param 1 = %1 IF %1==x86 ( SET ProgrammPath=%ProgramFiles% ) ELSE IF %1==x64 ( SET ProgrammPath=%ProgramFiles(x86)% ) ELSE ( ECHO Unknowen architectur EXIT /B 1 ) SET VSINSTALLDIR="%ProgrammPath%\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\Common7\IDE" SET VCINSTALLDIR="%ProgrammPath%\Microsoft Visual Studio 8" SET FrameworkDir=C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework SET FrameworkVersion=v2.0.50727 SET FrameworkSDKDir="%ProgrammPath%\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\SDK\v2.0" rem Root of Visual Studio common files. VSINSTALLDIR variable is not set. ECHO. ECHO SYNTAX: %0 GOTO end :end Here the console output, what I not understand here and find very suspicious is that after the “IF %ERRORLEVEL%” Statement in the first script all will be put out regardless the echo is set to off… Executing: "C:\Programme\IBM\Rhapsody752\Share\etc\vs2005_make.bat" Simulation.mak build IF %ERRORLEVEL%==0 ( Mehr? set arch=x86 Mehr? ) ELSE ( Mehr? set arch=x64 Mehr? ) call "%ProgramFiles%\IBM\Rhapsody752\Share\etc\Vcvars_VisualStudio2005.bat" %arch% :: param 1 - Processor architecture @echo off ECHO param 1 = %1 param 1 = x86 IF %1==x86 ( Mehr? Note: The word “Mehr?” in the text output is german and means “more”. I don't know were it comes from and it is possible that it is a bad translation from the English output to german.

  • Windows Explorer argument not being interpreted?

    - by MarceloRamires
    I'm currently using: Process.Start("explorer.exe", "/Select, " + fullPath); //with file name.extension That basically tells windows explorer to open the folder where the file is in, with the given file selected. But, by the forces of evil, sometimes it works and sometimes it just opens the file ("/select" is... ignored) Has anyone ever experienced this? If it changes anything, it's a file in a local network and the path looks like this \\server\folder\subfolder\something\file.ext (of course in c# every '\' is doubled, and @ is not a choice, the path is generated by something else) I'll be constantly reading comments to supply any aditional information

  • Running cmd commands via .NET?

    - by a2h
    System.Diagnostics.Process proc0 = new System.Diagnostics.Process(); proc0.StartInfo.FileName = "cmd"; proc0.StartInfo.WorkingDirectory = Path.Combine(curpath, "snd"); proc0.StartInfo.Arguments = omgwut; And now for some background... string curpath = System.IO.Path.GetDirectoryName(Application.ExecutablePath); omgwut is something like this: copy /b t.wav + y.wav + p.wav + e.wav + space.wav + i.wav + n.wav + space.wav + s.wav + o.wav + m.wav + e.wav + space.wav + t.wav + e.wav + x.wav + t.wav + space.wav + h.wav + e.wav + r.wav + e.wav + space.wav + a.wav + n.wav + d.wav + space.wav + p.wav + y.wav + r.wav + o.wav + space.wav + w.wav + i.wav + l.wav + l.wav + space.wav + s.wav + h.wav + o.wav + w.wav + space.wav + h.wav + i.wav + s.wav + space.wav + r.wav + e.wav + n.wav + d.wav + i.wav + t.wav + o.wav + n.wav + space.wav output.wav And nothing happens at all. So obviously something's wrong. I also tried "copy" as the executable, but that doesn't work.

  • Android: How to save a preview frame as jpeg image?

  • Antlr question: cannot get Antlr tool to compile simple file from ANTLRWorks

    - by Don Henton
    Here is the grammar file: grammar fred; test : 'fred'; Here is the batch file to launch the tool: SET JAVA_HOME=C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_24 SET PATH=%PATH%;%JAVA_HOME%\bin SET ANTLR_HOME=c:/users/don/workspace/antlrAssign/lib/ java -cp %ANTLR_HOME%/antlr-3.3-complete.jar antlr.Tool fred.g Here's the result: ANTLR Parser Generator Version 2.7.7 (20060906) 1989-2005 fred.g:1:1: unexpected token: grammar error: Token stream error reading grammar(s): fred.g:3:19: expecting ''', found 'r' fred.g:1:1: rule grammar trapped: fred.g:1:1: unexpected token: grammar TokenStreamException: expecting ''', found 'r' Prior postings refer to "org.antlr.Tool" but the 3.3 jar has it located as above. The idea was to create a debug version of a tree parser, and according to the documentation, you have to use the command line tool. Has anyone seen this before? Am I nuts? It's two lines long and its dying on the first word in the file. Of course this compiles in antlrworks. Any help appreciated, I can't afford any more adjustments to my medications.

    Has anyone used Watir with IronRuby successfully? I am getting an error that the required file 'Watir' was not found. What path do I need to set to get this file to work in IronRuby? For some reason my igem command is not working: C:\DevTools\IronRuby\ironruby\Merlin\Main\Languages\Ruby\Scripts\binigem instal l watir '"C:\DevTools\IronRuby\ironruby\Merlin\Main\Languages\Ruby\Scripts\bin\ir.exe"' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. • Using .htaccess to server files from Amazon S3 CloudFront

    - by Adrian A.
    My ideal setup would be to take a current clients site, upload a .htaccess with a regex inside, that would match the URI, and if it finds a certain file extension, it would use the same path, but with an altered domain. ie. Normal path: http://www.domain.com/something/images/someimage.jpeg http://www.domain.com/assets/js/jquery.js .htaccess translated would turn the above into: http://mycdn.other.com/something/images/someimage.jpeg http://mycdn.other.com/assets/js/jquery.js I googled this for hours in a row, no luck. Again, this is for actually making use of Amazon's CloudFront. S3 is already mounted to the website for backups and storing files using s3fs, but this doesn't solve the issue since it's using S3 directly, not using the CloudFront.

  • ASP.NET Charting Control no longer working with .NET 4

    - by Moose Factory
    I've just upgraded to .NET 4 and my ASP.NET Chart Control no longer displays. For .NET 3.5, the HTML produced by the control used to look like this: <img id="20_Chart" src="/ChartImg.axd?i=chart_5f6a8fd179a246a5a0f4f44fcd7d5e03_0.png&amp;g=16eb7881335e47dcba16fdfd8339ba1a" alt="" style="height:300px;width:300px;border-width:0px;" /> and now, for .NET 4, it looks like this (note the change in the source path): <img id="20_Chart" src="/Statistics/Summary/ChartImg.axd?i=chart_5f6a8fd179a246a5a0f4f44fcd7d5e03_0.png&amp;g=16eb7881335e47dcba16fdfd8339ba1a" alt="" style="height:300px;width:300px;border-width:0px;" /> The chart is in an MVC partial view that is in an MVC Area folder called "Statistics" and a MVC Views folder called "Summary" (i.e. "/Areas/Statistics/Views/Summary"), so this is obviously where the change of path is coming from. All I've done is to switch the System.Web.DataVisualization assembly from, 3.5 to 4.0. Any help greatly appreciated.

When I follow the stylesheet link through browser's view source feature, the link appears to be: http://localhost:8080/css/style.css Which should have had been: http://localhost:8080/myapplication/css/style.css I used to fix this issue with html:rewrite tag while working with Struts. Is there any equivalent tag/technique in Spring MVC? Thanks for your time.

  • [cocoa] NSSearchField not working as expected

    - by Vegar
    Hi, I'm trying to follow Marcus Zarra in his book 'Core Data'. In the book, he makes a small sample application, but it doesn't give much help when things don't work out... He starts out by visually designing three entities, and then adding array controllers for each entity to the main nib. Second, he adds a tableview and some other visual components to show data from the array controllers. So far, I have managed to follow, but now he adds a search field to the gui, and binds it to the same array controller as one of the tableviews. Expected behavior would be for the tableview to get filtered when typing in the search field, but nothing happens. How do I find out what's wrong? The relevant parts from the nib is as follow: NSArrayController Recipes - Mode = Entity - Enitity Name = Recipe TableView w/TableColumn - Value Bind To Recipes -- Controller Key = arrangedObjects -- Model Key Path = name Search Field - Predicate Bind To Recipes -- Controller Key = filterPredicate -- Model Key Path = name -- Display name = predicate -- Predicate Format = keyPath contains $value There are no relevant messages in the console. regards, -Vegar

  • How to load font from InputStream in SWT?

    - by parxier
    I need to load font (.otf or .ttf) file from java Resource or InputStream in SWT. org.eclipse.swt.graphics.Device.loadFont(String path) allows me (example) to load font from font file path (and it works), but there is no corresponding method to load it from any other source. I was thinking of using java.awt.Font.createFont(int fontFormat, InputStream fontStream) and then building org.eclipse.swt.graphics.FontData and org.eclipse.swt.graphics.Font objects out of AWT java.awt.Font object. Since I haven't tried that option yet (I don't even know if it works that way) I was just wondering if there are any other options available?

  • ASP.NET Web Service Throws 401 (unauthorized) Error

    - by user268611
    Hi Experts, I have this .NET application to be run in an intranet environment. It is configured so that it requires Windows Authentication before you can access the website (Anonymous access is disabled). This website calls a web service (enable anonymous access) and the web service calls the DB. We do have a token-based authentication between the web application and the web service to secure the communication between them. The issue I'm facing is that when I deploy this to production, I'm having an intermittent issue whereby the communication between the web application and the web service failed. The 401 issue was thrown. This is actually working fine in our QA environment. Is this an issue with Active Directory? Or could it be an isssue with FQDN as mentioned here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;896861? The weirdest thing is that this is happening intermittently when tested in both on the server itself and a remote workstation in my client's environment. But, this is working perfectly in my environment. OS: Windows Server SP1 IIS 6 .NET 3.5 Framework Any idea about the 401 (Unauthorized) issue?? Thx for the help... This is from the log... • Allowing asterisk in URL - ASP.NET MVC 2 - .NET 4.0 or encoding

    - by raRaRa
    I'm having a trouble allowing asterisk (*) in the URL of my website. I am running ASP.NET MVC 2 and .NET 4.0. Here's an example that describes the problem: http://mysite.com/profile/view/Nice* The username is Nice* and ASP.NET says there are illegal characters in the URL: Illegal characters in path. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Exception Details: System.ArgumentException: Illegal characters in path. I have tried all the Web.config methods I've seen online such as: <pages validateRequest="false"> and <httpRuntime requestPathInvalidCharacters="" requestValidationMode="2.0" /> So my question is: Is it possible to allow asterisk in URL? If not, is there some encoding method in .NET that can encode asterisk(*) ? Thanks!

  • Using Objective-C Blocks

    - by Sean
    Today I was experimenting with Objective-C's blocks so I thought I'd be clever and add to NSArray a few functional-style collection methods that I've seen in other languages: @interface NSArray (FunWithBlocks) - (NSArray *)collect:(id (^)(id obj))block; - (NSArray *)select:(BOOL (^)(id obj))block; - (NSArray *)flattenedArray; @end The collect: method takes a block which is called for each item in the array and expected to return the results of some operation using that item. The result is the collection of all of those results. (If the block returns nil, nothing is added to the result set.) The select: method will return a new array with only the items from the original that, when passed as an argument to the block, the block returned YES. And finally, the flattenedArray method iterates over the array's items. If an item is an array, it recursively calls flattenedArray on it and adds the results to the result set. If the item isn't an array, it adds the item to the result set. The result set is returned when everything is finished. So now that I had some infrastructure, I needed a test case. I decided to find all package files in the system's application directories. This is what I came up with: NSArray *packagePaths = [[[NSSearchPathForDirectoriesInDomains(NSAllApplicationsDirectory, NSAllDomainsMask, YES) collect:^(id path) { return (id)[[[NSFileManager defaultManager] contentsOfDirectoryAtPath:path error:nil] collect:^(id file) { return (id)[path stringByAppendingPathComponent:file]; }]; }] flattenedArray] select:^(id fullPath) { return [[NSWorkspace sharedWorkspace] isFilePackageAtPath:fullPath]; }]; Yep - that's all one line and it's horrid. I tried a few approaches at adding newlines and indentation to try to clean it up, but it still feels like the actual algorithm is lost in all the noise. I don't know if it's just a syntax thing or my relative in-experience with using a functional style that's the problem, though. For comparison, I decided to do it "the old fashioned way" and just use loops: NSMutableArray *packagePaths = [NSMutableArray new]; for (NSString *searchPath in NSSearchPathForDirectoriesInDomains(NSAllApplicationsDirectory, NSAllDomainsMask, YES)) { for (NSString *file in [[NSFileManager defaultManager] contentsOfDirectoryAtPath:searchPath error:nil]) { NSString *packagePath = [searchPath stringByAppendingPathComponent:file]; if ([[NSWorkspace sharedWorkspace] isFilePackageAtPath:packagePath]) { [packagePaths addObject:packagePath]; } } } IMO this version was easier to write and is more readable to boot. I suppose it's possible this was somehow a bad example, but it seems like a legitimate way to use blocks to me. (Am I wrong?) Am I missing something about how to write or structure Objective-C code with blocks that would clean this up and make it clearer than (or even just as clear as) the looped version?

  • NSFileManager - Copying Files at Startup

    - by David Schiefer
    Hi, I need to copy a few sample files from my app's resource folder and place them in my app's document folder. I came up with the attached code, it compiles fine but it doesn't work. All the directories I refer to do exist. I'm not quite sure what I am doing wrong, could someone point me in the right direction please? NSFileManager*manager = [NSFileManager defaultManager]; NSString*dirToCopyTo = [NSHomeDirectory() stringByAppendingPathComponent:@"Documents"]; NSString*path = [[NSBundle mainBundle] resourcePath]; NSString*dirToCopyFrom = [path stringByAppendingPathComponent:@"Samples"]; NSError*error; NSArray*files = [manager contentsOfDirectoryAtPath:dirToCopyTo error:nil]; for (NSString *file in files) { [manager copyItemAtPath:[dirToCopyFrom stringByAppendingPathComponent:file] toPath:dirToCopyTo error:&error]; if (error) { NSLog(@"%@",[error localizedDescription]); } }

  • How to use SharpSVN to (quickly) check if a remote folder/file exists on the server

    - by Ziphnor
    Say i have a svn repository at https://www.mysvn.com/svn/. How can i use SharpSVN to figure out whether the remote folder https://www.mysvn.com/svn/a/b/c exists on the server? I need to do it an a way that allows me to tell the difference between a failed connection (ie server down) and the folder simply not having been created yet. Calling info on the full https://www.mysvn.com/svn/a/b/c path does not seem to give an exception that enables me to tell the difference between no repository at all and just a missing folder. I could list all files for https://www.mysvn.com/svn/ but the repository can easily be so big that this can take too long. Right now im doing an info on first the root url and then on the full url. If the root url fails i treat it as a server problem, but if it succeeds and the full url fails i assume its because part of the path hasnt been created on the server.
