  • HTML / CSS autonumber headings?

    Is there a way (ideally easy) to make headings and sections autonumber in HTML/CSS? Perhaps a JS library? Or is this something that is hard to do in HTML? I'm looking at an application for a corporate wiki but we want to be able to use heading numbers like we always have in word processors.

  • Unable to install gem "pg" on Ubuntu 12.10 (AMD64)

    I've been (unsuccessfully) trying to install the "pg" gem on my ruby 1.9.3-p286 but nothing seems to work. I've already installed postgresql (9.1), libpq-dev and a few others like postgresql-server-dev-9.1. I've tried to pass the "with-pg-config" flag to the gem install but simply nothing seems to work. Every time I try to install the gem it outputs something like this: Building native extensions. This could take a while... Thank you in advance. [EDIT] Ok, so joelparkerhenderson's answer set me to think that there might me something wrong with paths and libraries and a went on digging a little bit further..   • How do I calculate the week number given a date?

    If I have a date, how do I calculate the week number for that date within that year? For example, in 2008, January 1st to January 6th are in week 1 and January 7th to the 13th are in week 2, so if my date was January 10th 2008, my week number would be 2.   • How to scale JPEG image down so that text is clear as possible?

    I have some JPEG images that I need scale down to about 80% of original size. Original image dimension are about 700px × 1000px. Images contain some computer generated text and possibly some graphics (similar to what you would find in corporate word documents). How to scale image so that the text is as legible as possible? Currently we are scaling the imaeg down using bicubic interpolation, but that makes the text blurry and foggy.

  • How to check if Thread finished execution

    I have following problem: I want to check (C#) if thread has finished execution, i.e. if the thread method returned. What I do now is call Thread.Join(1), but this gives 1 ms delay. Is there any way to simply check if thread finished. Inspecting Thread.ThreadState just seems too cumbersome.

    As My Screen shot show that i am working on word matching game.In this game i assign my words to different UIButtons in Specific sequence on different loctions(my red arrow shows this sequence)and of rest UIButtons i assign a one of random character(A-Z).when i Click on any UIButtons its title will be assign to UILabel which is in Fornt of Current Section:i campare this UILabel text to below UILabels text which is in fornt of timer.when it match to any of my UILabels its will be deleted.i implement all this process already. But my problem is that which is show by black lines.if the player find the first word which is "DOG". he click the Two UIButtons in Sequence,but not press the Third one in Sequence.(as show by black line).so here i want that when player press the any UIButtons which is not in Sequence then remove the previous text(which is "DO") of UILabel and now the Text of UILabel is only "G" .   • Replace merge fields with text with OpenXML SDK 2.0

    What is the best way to remove all merge fields from a word 2010 document using openxml sdk 2.0, and replace them with a simple text? I have some difficulties to remove them cleanly. Have tried to remove all Run objects that includes a FieldCode with a "MERGEFIELD" defined, and appended a new Run with my text. But I am missing something crucial since the field seems to stay defined for this element.
