  • Any GUI libaray for iPhone & Andriod based on OpenGL ES?

    Since both iPhone and Android support OpenGL ES, is there any open source or commercial GUI library we can use for these two platforms? Or is it doable (or how difficult) to port an application from one to another platform? As I know, for iPhone only, libNUI (http://www.libnui.net) is a good choice (dynamic layout & mature), but it only provides GPL & commercial license. Any other open source tool similar with libNUI?

Decided to try its threading functionality but I am getting Error 6 fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'libboost_thread-vc90-mt-gd-1_42.lib' InterviewPractice after I include Error 6 fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'libboost_thread-vc90-mt-gd-1_42.lib' InterviewPractice I can't find where to get the .lib files for proper linking on the boost website?     Hi, I am developing an ASP.NET website. I wanted to shift whole of my work to another PC of mine. I copied the website to the other PCOpenCreate ASP.NET folderApp_Data and pasted the database.mdf and database.ldf files there. I was getting some exception when I was trying to run the website as it showed the "could not open the connection from con.open()". Is there some other step too that I am missing?

    Hi All. Im wanting to develop an entirely ajax back end for a website im developing, and im looking at using jquery ui. The tabs widget looks like it could be useful for my menu, however i want to know if theres a way to load a specific tab dynamically. So basically, if someone entered the url mysite.com/tab1 it would open the first tab, and tab2 would open the second etc. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks

  • Is it normal to get SQLITE_BUSY on a read only database?

    I have 2 processes: 1 is writing to a sqlite database, 1 is reading from the same database. Occasioally, I get SQLITE_BUSY on my selects. Is this normal? Is their some option or way I could open the database so that it blocks until it CAN complete the query? (I tried the FULLMUTEX option on the open call but it appeared to have no effect).

  • Android Mock Location locks GPS on status bar

    I created an app that uses mock locations to insert GPS coordinates. After removing the test provider via: mLocationManager.clearTestProviderLocation(mocLocationProvider); mLocationManager.removeTestProvider(mocLocationProvider); mLocationManager.removeUpdates(mLocationListener); When I launch google maps for example after exiting the app the GPS location is found and then never goes away. "Location Set By GPS" always remains on the notification bar even though my app is ended. Any ideas?

    I have an application created with PhoneGap and Backbone. I upload a file as JSon and my server receive data like this : data:image/jpeg;base64,/9j/4AAQSkZJRgABAQAAAQABAAD/... I'm trying to write the file like this : File.open("#{Rails.root}/public/images/#{self.id}.jpg", "w+") do |f| f.write(data) end It's not working and I don't know what to do. When I'm trying to open the file I have this message "Not a JPEG file: starts with 0x64 0x61". Do you have a solution?

  • Websphre portal does not startup

    When I try to start up a websphere portal server, it hangs at the line : Server WebSphere_Portal open for e-business and although it means that the server started up successfully, it is not...because in the progress bar, i stll see 'Starting.....' I have tried deleting the wstemp and temp directories but beyond that I am not sure what I can do to debug the problem. The server with the same profile starts up great from another workspace, but when I come to this workspace, it just hangs at Server WebSphere_Portal open for e-business I am using RAD 7 and portal 6.1
