  • Prevent command "del /s" from entering a folder

    I need to recursively remove unnecessary files from a svn repository and i have the following batch file to do this: @echo on del /s ~*.* del /s *.~* del /s Thumbs.db However, this is also deleting the entries under the .svn/ subfolders. Is there any way to prevent this commands from being executed under the .svn/ folders so that it doesn't mess things up? Thanks in advance! EDIT: A solution using Bash (cygwin) would also work for me since i just need to do this once.

Not I quit xcode, start it again, xcodepreferencesfile_types, check association for file type "xyz", and its getting reset to its old value just like i never edited it. This is so lame, kindly suggest something :(

I added UIFileSharingEnabled as true to my plist and used Apple's example from the link below for CFBundleDocumentTypes, but can't seem to get it to work.   • Possible Encoding Issue Reading HTM File using .Net Streamreader

    I have an HTML file with a ® (copyright) and ™ (trademark) symbol in the text. These are just two among many other symbols. When I read the html file into a literal control it converts the symbols to something else. The copyright symbol converts to ? (open box in ff) The trademark symbol converts to ™ (as expected) If (System.IO.File.Exists(FullName)) Then Dim StreamReader1 As New System.IO.StreamReader(FullName) Contents.Text = StreamReader1.ReadToEnd() StreamReader1.Close() End If Contents is a <asp:Literal runat="server" ID="Contents"></asp:Literal> and it's the only control in the aspx page. From some research I think this is related to the encoding but I don't know why it would change how to fix it. The html file does not contain any Content-Type settings in the head section.

  • SVN Import Force for importing existing file

    I am creating a text file and a zip file for a tag automatically with MSBuild. My msbuild project is called by cruisecontrol.net. The text file is always going to be latest.txt and the zip file will be (version).zip (so it will be different every time). I do not want to commit these files back to my trunk, so I discovered svn import. On the first time, it works for both. On successive runs, it fails since latest.txt already exists in the repository. Do I need to use svn import --force or something else to get these two files pushed up to my repository?

I've had to use dos2unix to convert .sh files that I created in windows to run under linux. I have given the absolute path for each log file in param tag value. eg : appender name="FA" class="org.apache.log4j.DailyRollingFileAppender" param name="DatePattern" value="'_'yyyyMMdd"/ param name="File" value="D:/logFiles/GPreprocessor.log"/ layout class="com.dnb.genericpreprocessor.common.log.AppXMLLayout"/ /appender I do not want to give "GPreprocessor.log" directly.Actually that file name is dynamic based on my project. However the location will always remain same as "D:/logFiles/" . Please help me in this as this is very urgent and important for me.
