  • Issues loading SWF with External SWF Files - using SWFObject and ExternalInterface

    I'm having issues with loading a SWF that references external SWF files... The main SWF loads fine if the HTML file is in the same folder as all the SWFs using the following code: <script type="text/javascript" src="../js/swfobject.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> var flashvars = {}; var params = { allowScriptAccess: "always" }; params.quality = "high"; params.wmode = "transparent"; var attributes = {id:"IDofSWF", name:"IDofSWF"}; swfobject.embedSWF("event_so_js.swf", "flashContent", "700", "400", "7.0.0", false, flashvars, params, attributes);</script> </head> <body> <div id="flashContent"> <object data="event_so_js.swf" name="IDofSWF" id="IDofSWF" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="700" height="400"></object></div> But as soon as I move the HTML file out of that folder to the root folder and update the links, it doesn't load correctly - it seems that it's having trouble with the external SWF files. I did have it successfully load one of the external SWF files directly, but it's having trouble with the main SWF. All of the SWF files are in the same folder, so I don't know why it's having issues.     I'm trying to use MODI to OCR a window's program. Why can MODI handle the original bitmap but not the smaller version taken from it?

    Why doesn't following code work correctly in FireFox 3.6? I have tested in IE7, IE8, and Chrome with out any issues. Issue: The first block hover link (the table's 3rd row) doesn't apply the same style/effect as the following below it. Notes: I am trying to create my own table framework. This project is something I am doing to learn more about CSS. Before I started, I thought I knew a lot about CSS. However, to my surprise I was wrong. Who knew? Moving on... As side note, I do not want to take the time to support IE6. So, if you see a problem related IE6, please don't waste your time telling.     How could I resize or reprocess bunch of videofiles (tv show series) to be able write it on DVD? Total size of all files should be less or equal to the max size of dvd - 4.7G. Is there any kind of program which allows conversion with total filesize adjustement up to defined limit? Is there way to be sure quality will not suffer noticeably after video files adjustments? Maybe there is a software which allows adjusting quality and creating DVD video disk with nifty menu automatically? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

  • Displaying a message in a dialog box using AJAX, jQuery, and CakePHP

    I have a form, and when users submit this form, it should pass the data along to a function using AJAX. Then, the result of that is displayed to the user in a dialog box. I'm using CakePHP (1.3) and jQuery to try and accomplish this but I feel like I'm running into the ground. The form will eventually be used for uploading images with tags, but for now I just want to see a message pop up in the box.. Scale works like a percentage, and there's no way to get the width, height, or depth of the DAE once in flash. I want to be able to specify the size of DAE in 3D space relative to other pv3d native geometry.

  • Virus sending phishing emails through exchange server

    It appears that there is a virus on my network somewhere that is sending phishing emails through my exchange server. I can see the messages in message tracking and I see many SMTP errors for NDR's and rejected connections from external servers, but I do not see any SMTP authentications and I have logging up to MAX. How can I find the IP or hostname of the PC that is infected? Or is there some other explanation than virus? Anti-virus scan on server is clean. Server is not an open relay. Thanks

And Making a service to call that function import store procedure. The RIA will automatically create a matching Entity(to the complex type) and an operation for me. However, I don't know how to validation the parameters of the operation on both client and server side. For example, the parameter must be an integer only (and greater than 10) or datetime only. below is my xaml code.   • Google Maps: marker icons are multi over same location, why?

    I'm using Google Maps and have the map set to height/width=100%. I noticed that when I resize the browser window, my map marker icons appear to redraw on top of the same location. Meaning, if I should only have 1 map marker icon on "987 Main St", when I resize the browser window - multiple map marker icons are being now draw on top of "987 Main St" that shouldn't be there. The problem is the height vertical alignment for various screen sizes....What would be the most common sleek looking solution to this issue? Let's assume that the most common screen resolution for the site's audience is 1024x768 but it should look good on smaller resolutions too (specifically for laptops). Thanks!

  • My linux server takes more than an hour to boot. Suggestions?

    I am building a CentOS 5.4 system that boots off a compact flash card using a card reader that emulates an IDE drive. It literally takes about an hour to boot. The ultra-slow part occurs when Grub is loading the kernel. Once that's done, the rest of the boot process only takes about a minute to get to a login prompt. Does anyone have any suggestions? I suspect that it may have to do with UDMA. Everything IDE-related in my BIOS seems to checkout. The read performance hdparm is telling me 1.77 MB/s. Ouch!
